IMO, she shouldn't be allowed to see the child at all but if she must, has to be under supervision. She has already shown that she has no qualms kidnapping her daughter. What's to stop her from doing it again?

Gerena has been moved to the fugitives on tv section due to his remove from the FBI's Top 10 List. This is moderately surprising despite the coldness of the case because of the supposed improved relationship with Cuba but at the same time the country has given no indication they will extradite longtime fugitives despite somewhat of a thaw. Sad that like Glen Godwin, he was removed due to his ability to get away. On the other hand, once it became known he was in Cuba, it should have been known he wouldn't have been caught. IMO, he should have been removed long ago.

Was surprised but very happy to see this. Here's hoping we see him back on U.S. ASAP so he can face justice.

While I hope he proves me wrong, I also doubt he will change if and when he gets out of prison. People like him usually don't change and if he had gotten probation, I don't think he would have lasted long at all. Prison is the only place for him and hopefully we'll see that soon.

Everyone kept telling Ponce to surrender to help his chances at a lighter sentence. He chose to ignore the advice. Him and his parents, whom no doubt helped him stay on the run. Just like everything else he had done in his life, his parents protected him from facing consequences for his actions and in doing so, ensured that the next 20-25 years of his life will be spent in prison. Maybe while he's there he'll finally take responsibility for his actions and realize how badly he screwed up but I won't hold my breath for that.

John Walsh was on CNN tonight where he talked about the capture. I think he said what we all felt in that this punk never should have been given bond when the test results came back and should have been locked up and sent to prison a long time ago. I will also say this, I was looking up crashes in that area and came across this article about another young man who drank and drove and killed a 18 year old girl. www.tbo.com/lifestyle/life-and-death-redemption-hinge-on-sobering-decisions-358015 www.tbo.com/news/drunken-driver-finds-redemption-redirection-357512 In that case, the young man took advantage of the forgiveness and gift he was given (only nine months in jail) and now works to help others recover from their addictions while also sharing his story in the hopes others won't make the choices he did. Ponce could have done the same thing and instead he took the gift of forgiveness the Angels were willing to give to him and threw it away. As one of his surviving victims stated, Ponce better have enjoyed his vacation, as the next time he will likely see freedom again is when he's in his 50's.

This is AMAZING news! And if convicted, I hope the Judge throws the book at him. What really pisses me off about this case is how reasonable the Angel family was and how callous and uncaring the entire Ponce family seemed to be. It never had to come to this. Ponce could have accepted rehab and done a reduced sentence based on williamsdad and everyone else's request. He chose to go on the run. His family chose to at the very least not help in any way in his apprehension- So for that, no leniency, no excuses. He needs to be taught a lesson. Williamsdad if you come across this forum- congratulations on all the hard work you did on catching Ponce finally paying off. I'm still so sorry for the loss of your son and realize this doesn't bring William back. But at least now finally Chris Ponce will be held accountable for his reckless actions that lead to William's death. I agree 100% with you. Very seldom do you see the kind of mercy the Angel family was willing to show to Ponce and his family and he threw it all away. I hope when he is rotting in prison for the next 15-25 years (what he faces for all the charges) that he and his worthless family think about that.

Glad to see she's been caught. Now justice can be served and another bad guy/gal can take her place on the list.

I'm glad to see them doing fugitives who have committed recent crimes being added to the list instead of those who have been on the run for years or are in places like Russia where there is no chance of catching them. Surprised to see another woman on the list so soon but I imagine they are hoping that the publicity that will come from that will aid in her capture.

IMO, this punk HAS to be getting help from his parents as he is hiding out somewhere, most likely abroad. Sooner or later though, his luck will run out and he will go to prison where he belongs. I will say this, the sadly ironic part of this case is that if he had taken responsibility from the start for the crime he committed, he would have gotten forgiveness and likely less time in prison then he will get when he is eventually caught.

Indeed, just because someone gets charged doesn't mean they'll be convicted. Still a LONG way to go before Chanel can get true justice.

He will die of natural cases long before a needle gets anywhere near him. Only good thing is he'll be locked up 24/7 in a cell by himself.

I don't think this will be the best year but it will better then years past as they add more recent fugitives and ones who have a chance of being caught instead of folks who have been on the run for decades or are in places where there is no hope of them being caught.

I'm shocked by Godwin's removal not only because of the violence of his crimes and his history but the logic used in doing so. If publicity was a reason to remove him, why did they add William Bishop after all this time? My guess is they simply have no idea where he's at and got tired of him wasting a spot on there when newer cases can be added. Based on results we've seen so far with two captures in two months, that theory seems to be paying off somewhat.
