Gotta love they did Stoeser, Mozdir, and then Miller (my theory is since the order is jumbled tonight they put the dead guys first just in case they had to extend breaking news LOL). Update: Deceased. Update: Deceased. Update: Deceased. Any first time watchers must be like "does everyone on this show die?" LOL.

Tonight! They're mixing up the order this time (wisely in my opinion). Brad Bishop is the first case.

Yet ANOTHER missing plane so The Hunt marathon is interrupted for the time being but at least they got five old cases in. For the record, I completely agreed with CNN's decision to cut into The Hunt tonight. Although an important public service show, this current breaking news event is happening in the moment. It isn't a non-urgent update two weeks after the fact like with Flight 370. I just find it ironic that it seems these things happen EVERY time The Hunt airs and never when it's not on. Former President George HW Bush was hospitalized before and I hate to sound callous but my thought was "don't die during the Hunt marathon!" LOL.

Another The Hunt marathon Sunday starting at 8 PM- although why they're showing the Shane Miller and Charles Mozdir/Kevin Stoeser episodes still is beyond me.

Flipping channels and they interrupted the Ponce profile to say they found the Air Asia flight recorder. Definitely worth a quick update but apparently they're expanding beyond that and the rest of his profile won't be shown (and who knows about the other cases tonight). New year, same breaking news interrupting The Hunt *sigh*

I guess the news was learned during Ponce's segment and it was just bad luck it didn't happen during a resolved fugitive show- but gees all they had to was give a quick update. And they probably should only air episodes 3-8 anyway at this point- as much as we're proud they caught/killed Mozdir and are happy Stoeser and Miller are dead. That way at least everyone will get a fair shot as opposed to what could potentially happen tonight- the resolved cases all got aired while an unresolved one was interrupted.

Ok I checked my guide and CNN is having a mini-marathon of The Hunt on Friday, the 23rd- but get this- they're STILL scheduling the Shane Miller and Stoeser/Mozdir episodes. The episodes on Ponce and Burgert, and Victor Barnard, all of whom are still AT LARGE are not scheduled. This is just getting ridiculous.

I wasn't sure if it was season 1 or 2 I should post this in but on February 22nd is yet another Hunt marathon. I assume it will be of season 1- I hope perhaps this is when they announce season 2's return- oh and that if they cut in for useless breaking news they don't do it to the Chris Ponce profile again-.

They're showing three episodes on the 22nd- Brad Bishop at 8 ET, SHANE MILLER at 9 ET, and Jacob Wetterling/Genevieve Kelly at 1O PM ET. So a guy on the run for nearly forty years, a dead guy, and a show whose fugitive has surrendered (albeit her daughter still hasn't been located). At this point I have to wonder if CNN is not running the Chris Ponce episode out of spite.

Just noticed another mini-Hunt marathon on CNN tonight. They're re-playing the Victor Barnard episode, which I'm looking forward to seeing the update. Also, checked tvguide and they're replaying the Chris Ponce episode next Saturday. Good because I was just about to complain on Facebook to them before I checked LOL.

It's official. CNN has announced "The Hunt" will return in the summer. I have mixed feelings- I'm THRILLED The Hunt is returning- I love the show but I'm also extremely angry at the large gaps in between seasons. THE WHOLE REASON JOHN WALSH BROUGHT AMW TO LIFETIME WAS BECAUSE FOX WAS ONLY GOING TO SHOW FOUR TWO-HOUR EPISODES A YEAR AND HE KNEW A WEEKLY SHOW WAS NEEDED AS IT WAS THE COURT OF LAST RESORT! WE NOW HAVE LIKELY 8 EPISODES A YEAR OF ONE TO TWO FUGITIVES! Sorry to be a killjoy on great news- The Hunt is awesome- but we need an extra show like AMW that broadcasts more frequently as well. cnnpressroom.blogs.cnn.com/2015/03/10/two-more-exciting-cnnorigseries-with-rezaaslan-and-wkamaubell-are-coming-to-cnn-in-2016-full-announcement/

Well at least it's coming back (of course we already knew that from actor reports).

I love The Hunt but I am still of the opinion there has not been a court of last resort on tv since the year 2012. Only a partial court of last resort. What we currently have is not good enough, and I'm sorry I'm going to continue to complain until at least a fugitive show with a decent amount of episodes per season with reasonable breaks in between is on tv. However, I will be The Hunt's biggest cheerleader when the show returns.
