I made a thread about it but last year Comcast/Xfinity, one of the largest cable and internet providers in the country, apparently dropped the ID channel from its system.
I know I keep making excuses but this is possibly another reason that despite the amazing capture of Luis Frias there wasn't even more direct capture success in season 1 as that is a loss of literally millions of subscribers.
(I even checked what cable company is in Landover Maryland, where Lamont Stephenson was caught indirectly and apparently Comcast/Xfinity is one of them. I can't help but wonder what if and if Natina Kiah would still be alive had a potential Comcast viewer from the area been watching the ID channel the night they profiled Stephenson. I know it sounds a bit far fetched and dramatic of me but still possible imo).
The whole point of moving to ID was it was a larger and more popular crime channel than HLN only for this to happen so this is frustrating.
We can only hope Comcast puts ID back for season 2 (in fairness they dropped a lot of channels but still).

In Pursuit has been confirmed for Season 2!!! Once again in 2020 for 12 episodes so In Pursuit like The Hunt is once again a yearly show when we need a show that runs more often but at least we have it coming back. Also, the article says Season 2 will be produced by Jupiter Entertainment, so apparently John Walsh and company decided to part ways with Zero Point Zero. I'm very disappointed in this as I made friends with people at ZPZ and this sucks for them since I at least felt they did an excellent job most importantly helping me get Michael Sanchez's family's story/the manhunt for Ricardo Villanueva-Cordova on the air (also, not that important in the grand scheme of things as getting justice is, but at the moment I have not forged relationships with anyone at Jupiter, so I probably won't be as good at revealing things from sources as I have in the past). Jupiter does have a lot of experience with true crime shows though according to their website including producing Homicide Hunter which was one of ID channel's most popular shows. www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/pursuit-john-walsh-returns-second-season-1226080P.S. Yes I'll make a thread now.

Bumping up Season 1 and not Season 2 since I wanted to point out two milestones from the first season-
Direct or indirect, four of the first five episodes have had at least one capture!
Half of the twelve episodes have had at least one capture as well! (Episodes 1, 2, 4, 5, 9 and 10).
---
Finally, we're still waiting on the first capture from Callahan's segments on the show. This isn't meant as a diss but rather frustration as I really want to see that but based on law of averages it should be happening soon and I can't wait to see who it is!
