True that.
On another note, the March 13th episode will feature John Blauvelt and Rudy Fernandez, according to online TV guides.

Pinned Glen Chambers and Jesus Salazar to the top of the fugitives on tv (1990's) section although for some odd reason the show still has only advertised profiling Chambers and not Salazar. Only the case description but the name of the fugitive (even though it is obviously Salazar) is not even in the online guide description. (This is why my "upcoming" on the main page had a little less info than usual).

I probably won't be as succinct tonight as both were good profiles (Chambers and Salazar) even if we knew a lot about the cases already as longtime AMW viewers as well. (Sometimes a lack of a case summary can actually be a good thing as it means the show did its' job lol).
There were two surprise 15 seconds of shame fugitives tonight- Janice Macedonio and Jorge Verga and one surprise missing child case- Dashawn McCormick- who I don't believe were on the In Pursuit tip form at the beginning of the season. Chirstopher Daniel and Chloie Leverette was the other missing child (children) case. Which is also an important case but I believe we knew based on the tip form they'd be featured this season.
The Chambers profile mainly interviewed Connie Weeks' sister but I felt for her mother as well who is elderly and I hope will get to see justice before she passes away.
They showed the new photo of Salazar from 2014 which I think is important. Yes, if he's in Venezuela it's tricky, but we've also read about tips about him possibly coming back to the states or going to bordering countries where perhaps extradition is a little more likely in the past few years.
They showed a preview for John Blauvelt segment next month.
P.S. What I thought was a temporary thing has turned into a still temporary but weeks-long shift change where I work busier hours but the trade-off is I can actually watch In Pursuit live so for the next week and possibly longer I may once again be able to tweet live/post sooner. So talk about blessings in disguise!
P.P.S The Search Continues headliner on Facebook says they "know there's another capture around the corner" so I hope that's actually them knowing something we don't!

Besides next week (March 13th) which we already know will be Rudy Fernandez, based on tv guide previews We now have the cases for the next two weeks after as well!
March 20th- Alicia Osibin and Frederick "Rick" McLean
March 27th- Eric Monroe Jones and (the latter which we know of course) Ricardo Villanueva-Cordova

Just realized the Callahan portion of the season finale (April 3rd) has to be Chris Deininger based on the cases we know Cal is doing from that article. So that leaves only who John Walsh will profile as the remaining mytsery (Darrick Bell or Stepan Zeytunyan would be my best guesses based on who's left from the tip form- Dimas Coronado as horrible as a case as that is I think may be too recent for them to have filmed a full segment- but I assume we could always be surprised).

As of last Wednesday's episode, here are the stats as to which decade each In Pursuit fugitive went on the run in thus far. I like compiling information such as this to determine the case selection possibilities for future seasons.
2010-2018: Juan Lazaro Abrego, Robert Earl Brumfield III, Gerald Bullinger, Karla Campbell, Rathanak Chea, Derek "Man" Dean, Derek Dominguez, Harlon Lee Foss, Dominique Fowler, Brian Keith Freeman, Luis Frias (CAPTURED), Salvador Garcia, Martin Jesus Godinez, Tomas Gonzalez, Michael Steven Hawkins, Andrea Heming, Heather Inks, Martin Jarquin-Estrada, Daniel Jensen, Harold "Butch" Knight, Janice Macedonio, Regina Martinez, Raymond "RJ" McLeod, Anibal Chirino Mejia, Maurice Nesbitt, Jason Potter, Jose Salinas-Rangel, Leticia Smith, Lamont Stephenson (CAPTURED), Zepora Sykes, Heather Unbehaun, Jorge Vera, Kevin Waguespack,
2000-2009: Michael Blasingame, Jihad Ramadan,
1990-1999: Glen Chambers, Jesus Salazar, Gloria Schulze
1980-1989: Thayne Smika
So by my math we have 33 out of the 39 total fugitives so far wanted in the 2010s decade. This is what we were looking for before the cases were revealed for Season One, mainly a focus on recent cases with some cold case fugitives added in. The selection in theory seems like it would be successful and we have one direct capture and one indirect capture at the moment. Hopefully we can increase that by the season finale.

I am surprised we haven't seen at least one more capture as a lot of the cases seemed relatively easy this season (how Raymond McLeod, Maurice Nesbitt, Brian Freeman, and Derek Dean are still at large are beyond me). One thing to keep in mind though is even AMW had cold streaks where no one would be captured for a month despite airings of tons of fugitives. The other thing is there a few fugitives they may be close to capturing but they're in foreign countries. Elton Jardines was basically captured as a direct result of The Hunt in their final season but it took a few months after his profile to officially nab him in Mexico. As I stated before there could be an In Pursuit capture coming but it will take months to come into fruition. Luis Frias was an aberration and abnormally quick, probably for the publicity and his spot on the Marshals Top 15 list is why he was apprehended quicker than usual. Statistically speaking we should have at least two or three captures by now but keep in mind they haven't started airing repeats and marathons that often just yet (a few here and there) and that should definitely help once they do. I think the reruns of the show are going to be what's key to catching some guys and girls and so I hope they repeat the show not just on ID but also the original Discovery channel as well after the season airs.

Also I'm hoping for Callahan's first capture soon! (First from one of his segments is what I mean by that)

I agree. I would like to see some more captures coming soon. Before getting to the show recap I would agree that as awesome as the Luis Frias capture was, we've had our celebration and it's time to get the second capture, only that for all we know there could be a capture in the making but if it's in a foreign country it could take weeks/months (sometimes unfortunately even years) of getting appropriate permissions/judgments/warrants etc...

Ok, tonight was in my opinion in probably the top portion of episodes this season of In Pursuit and I thought both the segments on the manhunts for Blauvelt and Fernandez were well-done.
Besides the two main cases, Dennis St. John Rodriguez and Raymond Holley were the 15 seconds of shame fugitives and Rondreiz Phillips Jr. and Ava Baldwin were the missing child mentions.
My goodness, I'm not going to jinx the show anymore since everytime I say someone's going to get captured so far they haven't (for the record, I usually have a good track record and for some reason this year I'm jinxing it lol), but normally you'd think a military man would be hard to capture but this John Blauvelt is a frigging moron. He's having parties with underage girls in his house (thankfully not as deadly so far but I felt like he was almost a wannabe Charles Manson/cult leader),and his response to the police showing up is to tell everyone just not answer the door. He's an Army vet working at the recruiting center. Did he not think this could possibly lead to his expulsion?
I thought In Pursuit was rightfully respectful to Hannah the 17-year-old girl Blauvelt ran off with, not even mentioning her last name I think even though the case was in the national media. (Albeit in a less limited scope than a national crime show broadcast).
As for Fernandez, John Walsh introduced the segment by saying something like "this psycho has been on my own personal top ten list since 2001"- not to be nitpicky but John had yearly top 10 lists and a personal dirty dozen on AMW and Fernandez was never on either list. Pakman thinks Fernandez may have been a web-exclusive and never even aired on AMW. This is not to say John doesn't care, he obviously HATES Fernandez with a passion, but as much as I love him, I've seen him do this before and he does have a habit of mentioning guys as being #1 or very high on non-existent wanted lists. (I guess I'm just politely making fun of him lol).
But yeah the profile was very similar to The Hunt except a more extended interview with Callahan and Rudy's (and Griselda's) now adult daughter. The daughter understandably didn't wan to show her face. Callahan and her connected in that they both grew up in a family that had a tragic murder but never knew the victim (Callahan with being born after Adam and Griselda's daughter being too young to remember her mother). So I really like the approach and Callahan connecting with the families this season. He's not trying to pretend to be the bad-ass his father is (not saying that as an insult or that he should), but rather his approach is more a connecting approach and finding similarities/ways to connect to make the cases more personal for both him and the audience.
Next week should be interesting since Callahan is doing his first non-murder case I think in the Rick McLean manhunt so it will be interesting to see how he approaches a sensitive topic like the one this case will discuss.
But that's it for last night's episode!

Echoing the exact same thoughts as Scumhunter, I don't have anything else to add on this well put together episode.

Question: Are we watching In Pursuit besides me and HeadMarshal? Just saying I'm trying to encourage more people other than me to discuss the episodes here since we're a fan page for John Walsh lol. If we can access it, we should watch and support it and watch EVERY epsiode, not just only watch an episode because a guy is on the top ten list and ignore the other episodes. This show should be our main focus while it's still in season. Just saying.

Running out of possible fugitives from the tip form for April 3rd season finale. Wondering if there may be a surprise fugitive not on the tip form.

Running out of possible fugitives from the tip form for April 3rd season finale. Wondering if there may be a surprise fugitive not on the tip form. You’re correct Scumhunter! I’ve checked and JW will be featuring FBI Featured Fugitive Edgardo Luis Perez before Callahan profiles Christopher Deininger.
