This is probably a stupid question but does John Walsh know about this website ? I have heard that putting a fugitives face on TV for 5 minutes can still make a difference as someone may recognise them as the person living next to them. They put William Bradford Bishop on the hunt for a long time but he is 82 now and still has not been caught. I mean he has been on the run since 1976. He will never be caught.

It is possible in theory John Walsh knows about our site. To be honest, I'd be surprised if he didn't.
However, we have no official connection to him and even if we did he is a famous and busy man that has stated on TV that he gets so many case requests he unfortunately has to turn down thousands of cases a week, so it's not like he'd be someone I can text at 1 am in the morning like he's a friend lol.

P.S. if you look in the off-topic discussion section there is a thread called "daily chit-chat" or "suggestions for forum" that I feel would be more appropriate to ask forum related questions. Also just explaining since you may not know being new to this forum - you don't have to comment your thoughts on other fugitives in just Mr. Brovold's thread. (Such as if you have a thought on Bishop you can comment in the thread on Bishop or on Bruce Sawhill you can comment on his thread).

Brovold hasn't been caught yet, as the FBI Most Wanted Twitter account tweeted about him last week.

Brovold could be hiding out in Mexico seeing as hoe he has ties there he could be in a large metropolitan area like mexico city or Guadalajara or a rural fishing village on the Pacific coast he also could be in Georgia as he also has ties to Martinez Georgia but he could be Florida i feel as he seems to like warmer climates

Since they Tweeted Curtis Brovold recently, they also bumped him up on the CAC section for the first time in several years.
I wonder if they’re doing it for publicity reasons or perhaps they’re planning on adding him to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted List pretty soon.

I am in no way excusing his actions but I feel there are cases with even bigger charges and/or more alleged charges that I think makes Brovold less likely than others to be added.

Could he possibly be in norway. I think brovold is a norwegian name. He is probably in a populated area in mexico somewhere.

I know it's a cliche saying but he's the type of guy who can blend in anywhere.

Guys, please realize I said there are other crimes against children fugitives with even more severe charges or other crimes against children fugitives who may rank higher on my personal wanted lists, I never referred to them as "worse fugitves" there's still a victim in this case, please don't refer to Brovold as someone where there's "worse fugitives" or I will delete or edit the comment. There's worse fugitives in every case. If a guy killed two people, there's a guy who killed five people. The FBI lists one case, but he could have more alleged victims for all we know. To say there's worse fugitives is a disservice to at least one alleged victim.

I dont think he will be added due to his age.

He could possibly be in the carribean on a small island somewhere. These fugitives probably prefer places where the population is little and if you are on an island it would be hard to find them. Can you tell me has the fbi managed to gind fugitives from the carribeam before ? You would think with the nice weather there fugitives would love it.

The FBI has found fugitives from all over the world.
Also graniterocks, I apologize as I know I've asked this question before, but this seems like a pretty random case to be this interested in, especially considering it is not that well-known and there's not a lot of info online about it.
I know you've commented on other FBI cases and have a knowledge of them too, just I hope this doesn't sound like an offensive question as Brovold deserves to be punished if ever caught and proven guilty in a court of law, I just don't get why this case interests you the most out of the FBI fugitives and was hoping you can explain to me why you post more about Brovold than the other fugitives lol.

I dont know. Is it not normal to be interested in 1 case ?

It is normal to only be interested in one case (although I always stress we need to care about all the cases I get there is a specific case of interest that may bring someone to the forum) but usually it is a much more high-profile case than Curtis Brovold- like someone who only posts about Robert Fisher or Brad Bishop I would get that- but this case is less well known and that is why your interest makes me curious lol
