Glad to see this capture finally happened but it's still bittersweet given that Tammy is still missing. I hope Greer does the right thing and gives Tammy's family a body to bury.

They updated Greer's capture on Crime Watch Daily today. They show a Sheriff at a press conference thanking the show for keeping the case alive, so it seems they possibly had something to do with Greer's capture.

This is one capture I won't celebrate until the word's guilty are uttered,as the defense will claim Tammy is still alive somewhere and just wanted to make a new start.

I think this may come down to a deal where Greer gets less time than he deserves in exchange for showing where Tammy's body is. Usually the families accept to have a proper place to mourn their loved ones, but still stinks if it has to come down to that.

It will stink if it comes to that but if it means Tammy's family can put her to rest,it might have to be done.

Even if Greer takes a 'where's the body' deal, is there a chance that they might lock him up in the SUPER MAX in Colorado because we all know as to how slippery like butter on a hot summer day Greer was when he was on the run...... I mean whose to say that he (Greer) can be added to slippery and slick bad guys such as Richard McNair and Christopher 'Chris' Jeburk?

Supermax is usually reserved for people like those who have escaped jail multiple times and/or infamous people like El Chapo. Greer was slippery while on the run, but he doesn't have a history of PRISON escape which would be the crtieria.
To answer 912th's question, we'll see what happens in January. Hard to speculate on what the sentence would be. Granted, it's partialy my fault for speculating as well, just my prediction that s deal is what it may unfortunately have to come down to.

I was just thinking to myself... Since Greer was so slippery while on the run whose not to say he could possibly think/scheme up a break out? I mean take Terrance Washington for example, he was aired, a tipster helped catch him, and then he breaks out. Also btw for those who aren't familiar with 'Chris' Jeburk, look up the episode of FBI FILES "HELD HOSTAGE", that whole episode covers his case.

The main point is Greer allegedly committed murder in Texas, and if convicted, will serve time in Texas. Every captured fugitive is slippery- they wouldn't have become fugitives otherwise. Every captured fugitive could theoretically break out of prison. Some AMW fugitives have re-escaped. However, to put panic into a hypothetical situation respectfully in my opinion is unnecessary.
Let us all please remember the main thing here is Tammy Esquivel and getting justice for her family, and hopefully finding her and giving her family finally a proper place to mourn her.

Sad to say but unless a miracle happens,Tammy's family will never be able to give her a proper burial. All we can hope for is her killer never sees freedom again.

I still hold out hope Greer will do the right thing- say where Tammy's body is as a deal or after conviction to not get as harsh as sentence.
He doesn't deserve anything less than life, but if it provides "closure" (there never is such a thing) in locating Tammy, I can't speak for them but I'm assuming they'd take it to no longer have the pain of not knowing.
