(Above photo credit: amw.com archives) Fugitive Profile as of July 26th, 2018 (based on fbi.gov wanted poster): Aliases: Octaviano Corro, Octaviano Juarez Corro, Octavio Juarez Date(s) of Birth Used: December 22, 1973 Place of Birth: Mexico Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Height: 5'5" to 5'7" Weight: 180 to 200 pounds Complexion: Medium Sex: Male Race: White Nationality: Mexican TIPS: If you have any information concerning this person, please contact your local FBI office or the nearest American Embassy or ConsulateOctaviano Juarez-Corro is wanted out of Wisconsin for shooting several people. AMW aired his case once as a breaking news All-Points Bulletin mention in 2006 (for around 1:30 minutes). In 2006, Octaviano was ordered to pay child support for his three-year old daughter after he and his wife had separated. On May 29, 2006, three days before he would have to start paying child support, Octaviano went to the Milwaukee park where his estranged wife was and opened fire on a group of people. Killed in the gunfire were 31-year old Raymundo Munoz-Silva and 17-year old Julio Diaz-Guillen. Injured in the gunfire were the estranged wife, a 21-year old man and a third wounded victim, the wife had a connection to one of the murdered victims. The park where the shooting happened was full of people celebrating Memorial Day. Thoughts? Juarez-Corro is believed to have fled to Mexico right after the shooting. What I don't get is to why AMW only featured him once as a breaking news APB feature. Keep in mind that the same APB also featured Edmundo Cerda-Anima who would become John Walsh's Most Wanted Fugitive of 2006. The archived amw.com page for him even didn't have his age fully added, so when the site was in 2007 he was only mentioned as "1 year old". news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1683&dat=20060531&id=eywqAAAAIBAJ&sjid=QEUEAAAAIBAJ&pg=2006,7746245 www.usmarshals.gov/district/wi-e/fugitives/pdf/juarez.pdfUPDATE from site admin: On Wednesday, September 8th, 2021, Octaviano Juarez-Corro was added to the FBI's Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list: www.fbi.gov/wanted/topten/octaviano-juarez-corroAdmin Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

What a frigging moron. A public park, shooting all over the place on a crowded memorial day with people all around?
Yeah, he probably went to Mexico. That's the thing with AMW. Is in my opinion I think some guys might not have been profiled too often even if their were crimes were more horrific- if based on tips and likely whereabouts they thought they had a better chance at catching other guys. So it's like yeah a guy like John Trites- while not excusing his actions- was just a pervy swim coach and got profiled multiple times. But he was a 6'7 white guy who'd stand out in the U.S. He was obviously not as dangerous as a guy likely hiding deep down in Mexico that was a wanted quintuple shooter, but he was a lot more likely to be a direct capture (despite that, he hasn't been caught though).
So yeah he's probably deep down in Mexico, and will be hard to catch, but hopefully he will be.

Well after over a decade without updates on the manhunt, the FBI just added Octaviano Juarez-Corro to their featured fugitives page today! www.fbi.gov/wanted/murders/octaviano-juarez-corroWith this in mind, perhaps he's a possible contender for a segment next year on In Pursuit. EDIT: Make that a possible contender for the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List in the future as well now.

I think this could be a decent replacement for Santiago Mederos if he’s caught. Honestly a decade a run is long enough for this coward, he needs to be taken in. Also the possibility of him being aired on In Pursuit is more than likely.

I think he could make the list in general considering Brad Bishop is now off it. Meaning the FBI could add a "cold case slot" if they wanted and this would be not even that cold of a cold case.

Also it seems Juarez-Corro is wanted by the U.S. Marshals, so it’s obvious he could be added to the Top Ten and be could possibly even be the first USMS Top 15er since Markeith Lloyd. www.usmarshals.gov/district/wi-e/fugitives/pdf/juarez.pdf

It is VERY rare for fugitives to make both lists. Juarez-Corro was on the Marshals site but his addition to the FBI suggests perhaps they're now the main ones investigating (keep in mind the Marshals site is outdated depending on districts, many of them still have captured/deceased fugitives on there, the Western District of Texas is accurate but other districts not much so (district of Vermont still has Phillip Jackman and he's been confirmed deceased for years).
Last time it happened where a guy was on both lists was with Ralph "Bucky" Phillips and that was only b/c he was a breaking news case.
I feel Juarez-Corro is a candidate for the top ten list only now but we'll wait and see

I've edited the thread with Juarrez-Corro's FBI statistics (this is not to say one agency is better than the other, just that we know the FBI is handling the hunt for Juarez-Corro while it's no longer certain how involved the Marshals are anymore- even though technically both agencies are often at the site of a fugitive upon capture).

Found a detailed article about the aftermath of the shooting. P.S. As mentioned in two other postings, Juarez-Corro is the newest member of our forum members' personal dirty dozen (and hopefully the top ten list as well if he isn't caught soon). www.tmcnet.com/usubmit/2006/06/03/1668116.htm

If Juárez-Corro ends up being added to the list, it’ll be similar to how they added Robert Van Wisse. Also I’ve realized he will replace Eduardo Ravelo (if added) and that thought calmed my worries ☺️.

Corro has been bumped up to the top of the murder section on the fbi website, I don’t know if this means he will not be added to the list.

The FBI is now offering a reward of up to $10,000 for Juarez-Corro’s capture as the FBI Most Wanted App says his poster has been updated on 4/19/19.

Hmmm... makes me wonder if he’s out of the running for a spot on the list. Reward offered would probably be higher than $10K if it was a prelude to the list.
