A “Fidel Urbina” in the Cook County Jail filed a civil rights suit in October 2018 against the FBI agents who arrested him. Judging by the name, location, date and US federal agency, I’m assuming this is the same former fugitive. I only know about this because I signed up for access to PACER, which is the public court records database for the US Federal Courts system. I hope to get full access later next month because they have to send me a verification code in the mail. PACER may have more info on this. Anyway, I hope this stupid lawsuit was dismissed or something. dockets.justia.com/docket/illinois/ilndce/1:2018cv06666/357158

Urbina and his post-adolescent acne pockmarked face butt can go eff himself. Yup. He is going to get a fair trial, chance to appeal etc. Those are things he denied to the women he murdered.

Just wanted to update that according to PACER, this stupid lawsuit appears to have ended in September of 2019. Public documents in PACER stated that Urbina actually wanted the defendant (a FBI agent who I will not name as there is no point) to identify all of the FBI agents that were involved in apprehending Urbina in September of 2016. Also, I FINALLY found Urbina in the Cook County Inmate Records. Apparently they put in under the first name "Urbina" and last name "Fidel". Thankfully, there is a court date exactly one month from now. Hopefully the prosecutors can put this lawsuit behind them and actually proceed with prosecuting the former FBI 10 Most Wanted fugitive. inmatelocator.ccsheriff.org/InmateLocator/Details

AMW Capture #964 Alex Daniel was busted in October of 2007 for the murder of his wife. He was finally convicted and sentenced to prison..in August of 2018. I hope it won't take long for justice to be done here.

Want to know something weird about Urbina's arrest I found out about. Before the publicity that he had been found in Valle De Zaragoza, Chihuahua, Mexico came out, two newspaper reports in the State of Chihuahua mistakenly claimed that he had been arrested in a neighbourhood in Juarez called "Valle De Santiago". - translate.google.ca/translate?hl=en&sl=es&u=https://www.metronoticiaschihuahua.com/2016/09/capturan-en-juarez-uno-de-los-mas.html&prev=search&pto=aue- translate.google.ca/translate?hl=en&sl=es&u=http://www.chihuahuahoy.com.mx/post.php%3Fid%3D7911&prev=search&pto=aueEven more weird is that according to Google Maps, there is a street a little bit to the west of that neighbourhood named "Durango", which just happens to be the same name as Urbina's home street. That neighbourhood is also very close to Juarez's main domestic violence shelter. - www.google.com/maps/place/Valle+de+Santiago,+32575+Ciudad+Ju%C3%A1rez,+Chihuahua,+Mexico/@31.6288893,-106.3818888,16z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x86e767965f72b42d:0x92a24d90ccf00f31!8m2!3d31.6283983!4d-106.3765504 ------- I'm not sure why these two newspapers came up with this explanation for Urbina's arrest. This is only a theory but perhaps he was living in that neighbourhood at the time of either his 2007 or 2011 arrests. Perhaps the newspapers were given old information before the correct info came out. I don't know why they would have come up with this randomly, especially because the information about Valle De Santiago came from a "preliminary report from the government" and Juarez is a long distance from Valle De Zaragoza.

Wanted to mention that Cook County, Illinois has a criminal court record docket database now. The only things required for a search are the first and last name of the defendant and the date of birth. Urbina's date of birth is June 7, 1975. I found the 2017 case (Search 17CR0789101) and it is still in active status. There are numerous Continuance By Agreement entries which means that legal proceedings are getting postponed. Things like this do happen in court cases and there could be any number of explanations as to why this is still happening here. casesearch.cookcountyclerkofcourt.org/CriminalCaseSearch.aspx
