I had forgotten about this but this past October 20th was the 15th anniversary of Gabriella Torres's sexual murder at the hands of Fidel "Tonorio" Urbina.

Hard to believe it's been this long. This monster needs to be caught.

Running out of things to say about this case without any updates or even a news article.
I just thought of something that I may or may not have mentioned on the old AMW forums. AMW was likely given permission by Chicago authorities to list Ciudad Juarez as a possible location on his amw.com profile and even mention they received tips that he may be there. Yet the FBI poster only mentions he may be in his home Mexican State of Durango, which wasn't mentioned on his amw.com profile. What gives? And then when the one reporter brought up Ciudad Juarez in the FBI Press Conference, the special agent in charge of the speaking didn't want to go into any details on possible whereabouts. It's rare I believe that amw.com profiles mentioned that investigators received tips that a fugitive might be in a certain location, so I don't get the discrepancy.

I'm not sure about the different locations on different sites, but it's understandable to not want to go into too many details at a news conference. If they receive intelligence a fugitive may be a certain area, it's possible they don't want to publicize that too much since they don't want to tip him off.

The publicity part makes sense although I still don't get the differing website reports. It's annoying that Telemundo in Chicago was the only local news site to mention he may be in Juarez (according to the El Paso Times) and I do recall watching a news report online from Telemundo mentioning that. (I'm only learning now how to speak Spanish so at the time I didn't know much of what they were saying).

Cook County's Most Wanted has had him listed by that name for a long while actually (if I remember correctly). They simply may have forgotten to changed his profile when the FBI added Urbina to their Ten Most Wanted List and Patch may have profiled him simply from the Cook County website.

Definitely looking forward to the day they finally bring him in, he has sure been loose for way too long. His crimes are so heinous too, who knows what else he has done over all these years that he has been free.

I found out what his nickname "Tonorio" means. It's a misnomer for "Tenorio" which means lady-killer in Spanish (according to google translate). This is probably further based off of Don Juan (who sometimes was referred to as Tenorio), a legendary fictional character that plays were done about starting in 1630 in Spain, he seduced women from all walks of life.

I think that the FBI should check all Mexican Prisons for potential Fingerprint matches. I say this because i think there is a good chance that Urbina is, or has been incarcerated in Mexico while he's been on the run, seeing that he is about the least likely fugitive on the list to change his ways

Look what we have here- NEW Photos of Fidel Urbina!
It says "photgraph taken in 2007" and "in 2011" though. So was he arrested and somehow let go or are these age-enhanced to those years?

Wow this case is finally moving forward! Those defiantely look like mugshot photos although I can't tell where they were taken. Very curious as to what he was arrested for and why despite two apparent arrests in 2007 and 2011 we still cannot close this fugitive warrant.

If Urbina has been arrested we gotta give Bounty Hunter credit for calling that!
