I don't think the Marshals would take Hiers off if he was "normal" wanted again. The only two possibilities are he's still in custody in China/limbo and/or he was released in China and unable to extradite (which would make him still technically wanted but where unfortunately nothing could be done).

Also I'll allow replies about Hiers being taken off until the end of this week since it just happened but after that I once again would rather just take the wait and see approach lol.

Only for information purposes, I'd rather still keep the thread on Hiers locked, but we can have a limited discussion (please lol) that a spokesman for the Marshals is now saying Hiers is still technically considered at large and was only removed to make room for Michael Baltimore. That still seems weird considering how rarely the Marshals remove fugitives but the spokesman also claimed they were about to remove Rick McLean before they found his body so maybe there is some truth to it. It does mean perhaps there's not much time left for Raymond Abbott and John Ruffo to stay on the list unfortunately.

I don’t really have much to say about Hiers, because there isn’t much to unpack that we already haven’t discussed yet and I’d rather keep it brief with regards to him, but in regards to the overall top 15 list unfortunately I agree that removals are coming, and specifically I feel John Ruffo might be the first, because he’s basically the face of the “Have You Seen This Man” podcast and it’s constantly on the commercials whenever I watch ABC News Live on YouTube. I’m sure the marshals have gotten tips about Ruffo since, but as Scumhunter said with regards to the FBI Top Ten List, it’s quality not quantity.

This is the first time since the autumn of '009, if ever, when the FBI and US Marshals simultaneously had at least 3 vacancies on their national most-wanted lists. There have been times such as the spring of '016 when the FBI added Luis "Ye-Ye" Macedo and Philip Patrick Policarpio simultaneously for unrelated crimes, and the summer of '008 when the Marshals did that with Daddy Dave Lee Green and Luc Pierre-Charles Jr. Any good reason why neither agency would want to try that again?

Three more vacancies once again! I hope they add Erik Fardell Arceneaux and/or Chukwuebuka Nwobodo next!

I hope for Dylan Harrington (it's just coincidental timing he's fugitive of the week this week) to be considered as well now since he's another allegedly evil Washington state fugitive the Marshals are seeking.

I would hope that all multiple homicide fugitives are considered to be major cases and most wanted fugitives for the US Marshals Service. I hope that Dylan Harrington is at the top of the consideration for the USMS 15 MW list with that in mind.
