It would be appreciated if more of these dismissed without prejudice UFAP filings mentioned whether the state warrant was still active for the fugitive.

I don’t think Cobello would be in Cuidad Juarez by the time 2006-2008 came around as that’s when Eduardo Ravelo-Barrio Azteca, The Juarez Cartel, and other players in that region were on their reign of terror, so perhaps he likely left a few years after the crime. Honestly there’s a lot of cases the FBI should publicize a lot more on their website that’s for sure, and this one is solvable, it’s just a matter of getting this case on the spotlight. This guy could probably be anywhere by now. I found his 2005 US Marshals poster which mentions that he was born in New Mexico. web.archive.org/web/20050319194307/http://www.usmarshals.gov/district/ok-w/fugitives/wantedposter_cobello.pdf

The idea that Castillo is in Matamoros, Mexico, just across the international divide, from Brownsville, Texas really shocks me how an individual can hide just over the border in another city in another country without being able to do anything from your end, except hope that the fugitive gets picked up by law enforcement in Mexico. This case indeed needs more publicity and if he’s in Matamoros, then flushing him out will be a heck of a lot easier. It's especially frustrating when you consider that Luis is a US-born fugitive as well and is simply hiding right across from the Texas-Mexico border. I fear that there isn't that much motivation from the Department Of Justice to have Mexico look for Luis.

As of today, July 6, 2022, Hector is still listed as having a warrant/not being in custody according to Harris County's court records database. I am frustrated by the lack of media attention this case has received since the homicides. I noticed that one article said that Lesli and Eslie were immigrants from Honduras. Unfortunately, the media tends to prioritize the publicity of certain homicide victims over others, and one of the factors tends to be the race of the victim(s). I want to be clear that this case is about a mother and her 16-year old daughter who were shot to death. We really need an arrest and justice here. en.mundohispanico.com/ines-gomez-mont-is-in-mourning/

The FBI is definitely welcome to publicize this fugitive on their website. There was a UFAP warrant for East but it was dismissed on December 27th, 2018, after he was unable to be located and "due to other investigative priorities." The "good" news if you want to call it that, is it doesn't say dismissed with prejudice. ecf.paed.uscourts.gov/doc1/153117612304That was the same thing I read with Francis Santos's UFAP file. I feel that the Philadelphia field office might have gone through some of their old cases and decided they weren't going to investigate them anymore.

As of today, July 2, 2022, Derrick still has a listed warrant in Florida's statewide warrants database. I checked PACER and did not see an UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case for him.

I think HeadMarshal hit the nail on the head in that the FBI hasn't been profiling enough domestic fugitives in general, not iist the top ten list. When they do its usually a seeking law enforcement assistance case that doesn't have a UFAP warrant. They've gotten a little too criminal enterprise happy when they could be catching a lot of at home fugitives if they profiled them. Thank you for this! This has been driving me nuts for awhile now. The public is still a resource for finding "at home" fugitives if they were profiled on a national level. I feel that the FBI has somewhat forgotten about this, and it's surprising considering the UFAP warrants that they and the US Marshals Service handle.

I'm honestly not going to delve much into this case. I agree with Scumhunter that the FBI should prioritize publicizing violent domestic focused fugitives. This goes for their entire website, including the Ten Most Wanted List.
