Michael had gotten into an argument with Santos outside a convenience store when Santos allegedly shot Michael to death. Newspapers.com articles also mention that Santos is a suspect in an armed robbery that was committed five days after Michael's death. During the robbery, Santos and an accomplice allegedly threatened to kill those in a store if they did not lay down on the floor. Santos is believed to have fled to Mexico. A federal warrant for Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution was issued in November of 1999, according to PACER records. That warrant was closed in 2019 for administrative purposes. Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Salt Lake City Police Department at 801-799-3000 if you have any information on Santos Velasquez's whereabouts.Moderator Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form ----Thoughts? As of today, July 1, 2022, Santos still has a homicide warrant in Utah's official statewide warrants database. The fact that the UFAP warrant was closed for administrative purposes tells me that authorities do not know Santos's exact whereabouts. Despite the passage of time, I hope that Michael's family can still get justice in this case. - www.deseret.com/2000/1/3/19483878/1999-homicides-salt-lake-city-salt-lake-county-statewide- secure.utah.gov/warrants/index.html

Sadly Timalshina is still listed as having a warrant/not being in custody, according to Harris County's court records database. I checked PACER and did not see an UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) warrant for him.

Photo Credits: Victoria Advocate On July 30, 2003, officers investigated a stabbing. The victim was taken to Citizens Medical Center from the 1300 block of Sam Houston Drive. Twenty-four-year-old Jose Cartas, succumbed to his injuries. After the investigation, warrants for murder were issued for Eduardo Dominguez (Pictured Right) and Ramiro Dominguez (Pictured Left). Dominguez was 23 at the time of the offense and would now be 42 years old. Dominguez was 21 and would now be 40. They disappeared before any arrest could be made. They have ties to Mexico or Cuba. Their warrants are currently active. A 2003 news article from Newspapers.com elaborates that Eduardo, Ramiro and Jose were co-workers at a restaurant. Jose was stabbed to death during a four-man fight behind the restaurant. Based on crime location, it is advised to contact Victoria Crime Stoppers at 361-572-4200 if you have any information on Ramiro and/or Eduardo Dominguez's whereabouts.Moderator Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form ----Thoughts? As of today, June 28, 2022, Ramiro and Eduardo are confirmed to still be wanted based on the Victoria Advocate's news article from yesterday. It's not very often that cold case fugitives get news articles anymore so I appreciate that there is still a publicity effort in this case. I also checked PACER and did not see any UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) warrants for Ramiro or Eduardo. - www.victoriaadvocate.com/news/crime/victoria-crime-stoppers-requesting-info-on-two-cold-case-murders/article_39a868b6-f660-11ec-b5f0-1ba78bc8b379.html

According to Newspapers.com archives, several men were fighting on the porch of a residence. Jose was then struck on the back of the head with a baseball bat. Jose sadly died three days later from his injuries. Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Fort Worth Police Cold Case Unit if you have any information on Raul Lopez-Garcia's whereabouts. Phone numbers for the cold case detectives can be found at police.fortworthtexas.gov/get-involved/cold-casesModerator Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form----Thoughts? The document on the Fort Worth Cold Case Unit's website provides the report number for Jose Cardona's case. That's how I know that Raul is wanted in this case. There is an official website that provides details on the report. It lists no arrest which I feel mostly confirms that Raul is still a fugitive as of today, June 26, 2022. There may be alternative explanations such as the charges being dismissed or Raul was confirmed to have died, but these aren't that likely. I still want to get all the fugitives listed on the Fort Worth Cold Case Unit's website that we have pictures of. I did not see an UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case for Raul in PACER. Most importantly is that I hope the family of Jose Cardona can still get justice. - police.fortworthtexas.gov/UI/Repository/Documents/ColdCaseOutstanding.pdf- police.fortworthtexas.gov/ReportsLegacy/default.aspx

I searched Newslibrary's archives and I found out the name of the victim is 37-year old Marlon Strange. I just wanted to mention this out of respect to Marlon's family who deserves justice.
