On March 3, 1994, 10-year old Angelica Ramirez was at a swap meet in Visalia, California when she was kidnapped. Her remains were found in a canal 25 miles away in the community of Pixley, California. Angelica had been strangled to death. Earlier this year, the cold case unit in Tulare County was revived and Angelica's murder will be one of the cold cases being re-investigated. One potential suspect that was first investigated in 1995 was Gene McCurdy. Gene is on death row for the March 1994 murder of 8-year old Maria Piceno in Bakersfield, California. He was never charged with Angelica's murder however. Based on crime location, our advice for anyone with information regarding the murder of Angelica Ramirez, then contact the Tulare County Sheriff's Department (California) at 559-636-4625.

---- Thoughts? Even if Angelica's killer is currently in prison for another crime, her family still needs closure in that the killer needs to face a court of law for her murder. There is even the chance that Angelica's killer is currently walking free and therefore is a threat to all children around him. www.fresnobee.com/news/local/news-columns-blogs/lewis-griswold/article93996282.htmlwww.sfgate.com/news/article/Girl-8-Was-Suffocated-Coroner-Says-Parallels-3033138.php

The unfortunate thing we've learned is sometimes there's no shortage of creeps or sexual perverts in one area. You think it's one guy responsible for the murder or disappearance of a missing child- who is a creep- only to learn it's a different one. That being said, McCurdy is obviously a logical suspect.

Thank you as always for the update. At least we have the name of the monster who killed Angelica.
