What a lead! I decided to cut that match-up early because Wilson-Wilding and Fernandez shut out Cuco and Maisonet 0 to 4.
Gandhi Guzman, #106, Mrc 30, 1990 A Cali Cartel hitman, drug trafficker, and parole violator. He killed 2 women in Miami and wounded 4 police officers. Miami created the law enforcement posse "Redrum" to seek out him and his cohorts. An AMW tipster took him down right there in Miami.
vs
Robert Thomas Nauss, #123, Oct 30, 1990 A Warlocks Biker Gang vice president on the US Marshal's 15 Most Wanted list. Around the turn of 1972, he was facing charges of rape, robbery, and drug trafficking. Just before the trial, he murdered and dismembered his girlfriend and hung her head over a Pennsylvania apartment building. In November 1983, he broke out of prison for the murder. Over the following 7 years, he managed to start over with a new family in Michigan, and an AMW tipster busted him as he was driving with his wife and children. To this day, he's serving life in prison.
and
John Alexander "Dean" Riccardi, #134, Jnr 4, 1991 A mob burglar who killed his girlfriend and her best friend in 1983 by shooting them in the head in a jealous rage. The girlfriend, Connie Hopkins-Navarro, was the mother of Dave Navarro from 2 rock bands, including the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He was busted 7.8 years later in Houston, Texas, self-employed with a briefcase full of 1 Megadollar in spoils. He was condemned to death, but the judge concluded his trial was unfair, and commuted his sentence to life in prison.
vs
Carl Anthony Terry, #161, Jly 27, 1991 He committed his first murder in the 1960s and was condemned to death. When the state of Missouri outlawed the death penalty, he was commuted to life in prison, but he escaped the correctional facility in 1990. He killed his second victim after the escape, then attacked several witnesses to his older crimes, killing 2 more and wounding 1. He was busted in California.
These are hard. Gandhi Guzman had a much higher casualty toll, where as Nauss was wanted for a creepy murder, and was suspected of sex crimes. Riccardi killed 2, including a popular band member's mother, while Terry killed 4 people, most of them after getting his death sentence commuted and escaping from a program he should NOT have been admitted into. Since I think they're the underdogs, Guzman and Terry.

I'm actually going to agree with the "underdogs" here. Nauss and Riccardi are probably the more famous captures in terms of publicity, but Guzman and Terry had the higher casualty toll and may not have ever stopped if they weren't caught.

Round 3
Kenneth Cole, #110, May 10, 1990 An ex-babysitter. In April 1989, he abducted a 5 year old girl he was obsessed with named Nicole Ravesi from Massachusetts. A campsite owner in Eastpoint, Florida recognized him and busted him. Ravesi was AMW Missing Recovery #1.
vs
Stanley W Beatty, #184, Dcb 19, 1991 In July 1990, he shot into a crowd in Sacramento. A college football star was killed, 3 were wounded, and 200 were unharmed. He was also a person of interest in 1 other wounding. In Brooklyn, New York, he saw himself on America's Most Wanted, called a lawyer, and arranged a surrender in a church.
and
Darryl "Mutt" Smith, #157, Jne 23, 1991 Before he became a familiar face on AMW, he'd been convicted of 2nd degree murder. In October 1990, he struck again, shooting a rap singer to death in front of a crowd in Sarasota, Florida. AMW busted him in nearby Miami, and he's now serving a life sentence.
vs
Vincent Giattino, #162, Jly 29, 1991 A Bonanno Mafia branch hitman on the US Marshal's 15 Most Wanted list. In Brooklyn, New York, he shot an FBI informant to death. He also accessorized to a woman's murder and dismemberment. He was busted in Pompano Beach, Florida.
My votes go to Beatty and Mutt because there were crowds of people who were lucky not to get struck by stray bullets.

I vote for Cole for being the first capture and recovery and Giattino for the notoriety of being a mafia hitman and on the USMS 15 Most Wanted list.

Since we about near Capture #200-299, I suggested you not put Garrett Stone, Eddie James, Terry Hart, David Connell Cox, Juannito "JC Jiles" Edwards and William White Graham because Garrett Stone, Eddie James, Terry Hart were mentinod in John Walsh's Book No Mercy, Juannito Edwards and David Connell Cox were first fugitives to be captured in Unsolved Murder Case and William White Graham who is first Triple Murderer to be taken down.

Stanley W Beatty and Darryl "Mutt" Smith advance 2 to 1.
Neil Wilson Wilding, #198, Apl 4, 1992 In late August 1988, he broke into an apartment in Florida and sexually murdered a woman. He was connected via DNA evidence in July 1991. AMW tips led law enforcement to Oklahoma, where he was arrested on a traffic violation. He is on death row to this day.
vs
Gary and Orlando Fernandez, and Maria DeLoris Monserrate, #180/#181/#182, Dcb 10/Dcb 6, 1991 In July 1990, Gary Fernandez, his son Orlando, and Gary's girlfriend Maria, kidnapped and murdered a couple in a Jacksonville, Florida house robbery. Detectives connected them to the crimes via a bloody towel and a break-in at a pawn shop. All three fled to the Dominican Republic where AMW tipsters busted them over the course of 5 days.

Although Gary Fernandez's party was a fugitive trio wanted for multiple murders busted all the way in the Gulf of Mexico, I'll vote for Neil Wilson Wilding because he was condemned to death on a sexual murder conviction. Though Gandhi Guzman was a hitman for the Cali Cartel, Carl Anthony Terry cheated his way out of prison and killed 4 people during his criminal career.

Now for the semifinal round!

Both Darryl "Mutt" Smith and Stanley W Beatty barely missed hundreds of people, but besides that, Mutt's 2 mortal victims trumps Stanley W Beatty's 1 mortal victim and 3 to 4 wounded survivors. Also, Carl Anthony Terry had a steep death toll, and he didn't show any intention to stop killing until AMW brought him back in.
