I mentioned this in my 2004 guide, but there's a couple Break Four Tease cases that I've been trying to find more info on, but am unable to.
Jose Luis Quiroz - Wanted for raping a mentally-challenged teenager. As Derek mentioned in a previous thread, we don't even know what state Quiroz is wanted out of, and unfortunately, my copy of his profile cuts off the part where John Walsh says which investigators are seeking him.
Rafael Castro Valadez - Allegedly raped a 12-year-old girl after breaking into her home. Again, finding information on him has been difficult.
Neither one of them appear in the national sex offender database, which leads me to believe both are still at large, but that could also mean that both are incarcerated and therefore not required to register (registration doesn't begin until release). And of course, they could have been acquitted.

Ok if it's Utah- I found a Rafael Castro Valadez on the Right to Know site with no movements/judgments in his case- so he's still wanted but finding info and enough details on the case is another story.

Ok I think I may have found his warrant- I saw it said Adams County Sheriff's Office on his AMW archive- there's three Adams Counties I found on Google but it's the one in Colorado where I found a warrant with Jose Quiroz- the charge is sexual assault and the warrant is from September 17. 2003 shortly after the date of the incident: apps.adcogov.org/sheriff/warrantsearch/warrant.cfm

That's got to be him! So much matches up. You're quite the web sleuth, you know that?

Haha, thanks! Part of it I learned from a side-project. Ok, now let me ask for one. I realize I forget Rakesk White as a Lifetime case I'd like to confirm. My feeling is he's still wanted since Brian White and Jonathan May are both in the Michigan prison inmate search but Rakesk isn't- but any additional information or confirmation would be appreciated. I'd hate to profile the guy and then it turns out his charges were dropped (although I don't plan on profiling him anytime soon since there's not a ton of info on him anyway- but like some others, I can think of creative ways to stretch a thread out.)

A cursory search doesn't reveal anything immediate (I'll do an in-depth one once I'm off work) but I did discover that his mother died last July. I don't want to post the link here, but if you Google "Rakesk White" and "michigan" it's the first result that comes up.

Ok I may have answered my own question but I found the Detroit criminal court case search and apparently there's a trial happening soon. I see the word "arraignment" and "defendant stands mute" and "not guilty plea entered by court." I learned defendant stands mute means the accused just refuses to enter any plea when asked. Usually you have to be present to be arraigned but I also know sometimes trials are still held even without a defendant present and you are a court reporter so perhaps you can interpret this better than me. cmspublic.3rdcc.org/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=1262917

Based on my observations, I'd say Rakesk White is in custody and is scheduled to stand trial later this month. It appears he was just captured in November, so he hasn't been in custody for very long.
Also, if you're curious, an arraignment is where they plead guilty or not guilty. Here in Iowa they almost never happen; they usually just file a written plea.

Cool. And thanks for the clarifications. Good to know it appears he was captured. I like learning court lingo! Off-topic I actually once looked into becoming a clerk, but was told I had to be a court officer first. And based on how rude the ones I encountered when I had jury duty were (everyday I was getting yelled at at the metal detectors for doing nothing at all- first I was too fast then too slow. One also responded sarcastically when I had a question my first day about where a room was) there's no way in hell I'd want to be one. So there goes eventually becoming a clerk.

I should note only the ones at the metal detectors were rhymes with Swoosh Bags. The ones in court were fine as long as you kept your hat off.

Looking over case files and such and currently cannot confirm Patrick Bradley McCoy and Tomas Magallon Gonzalez. Neither are the California inmate system but I need a little more than that to make sure they're still active cases to do threads on them. Just my rule for posting cases, if anyone else wants to anyway, feel free to do so. But if anyone can find anything I didn't that confirms the cases, I'd appreciate it.

Ok, I've decided now with archive.org no longer crawling AMW, I will list four cases a week (or every week I'm available sans work or vacations or whatever)- that I was able to confirm are still active or likely still active before that happened, but I have no articles or expanded enough information to make a profile. I'm not taking some other facts such as whether they have photos just yet, I just want to see if I can get expanded info. I figure four is a good number since it's not too much or too little. I might not do a thread on them right away but if I can get more info they will be in the queue. Maximino Cortez- wanted for a DUI death out of Florida. (yes, DUI and Florida again) Still listed in FDLE's wanted search system and I saw the victim's family won a civil suit, but no articles about the crash itself. Brandon Williams- He's still listed on Greater Atlanta Crime Stoppers but just a one-liner "killed a victim with a handgun." (Well, that narrows it down). Robert Davidson- Wanted child molester out of Wisconsin. His wife Jean Jape may be with him. US Marshals poster is online, but I can't find any articles going into more detail. Abraham Delgado-Apolonio- wanted out of Kansas Any help on any or all of the above fugitives would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
