Steve Forrest - Escaped from a hospital after being arrested for conspiracy and theft. Only mention of him online is from an article about the AMW Playing Cards set, but they only mentioned what his charges were. Rodolfo "Rudy" Gutierrez - Stabbed his ex-girlfriend, she survived but suffered permanent vocal cord damage. Despite being wanted since 1995, he was only aired once in 2002. There's nothing about his case online. For some reason I thought I replied to this, but it doesn't appear I did. Strange. Anyway, there used to be a clip on YouTube of part of Steve Forrest's reenactment. It was just a couple seconds of a preview for his actual story. It showed him wearing a "mental hospital" uniform and walking around while kicking his feet high up into the air. Other than that, it didn't reveal anything about him. Rudy Gutierrez was believed to have fled to Riverside, California. AMW reported that his family owned a bakery in the area, but I don't know whatever came of that, if anything.

Here's another one. Melvin Menendez-Memendez: In 1994, he and nine other inmates escaped from a maximum security prison in Bayamon, Puerto Rico by tunneling their way to freedom. Melvin was serving 30 years for 2nd degree murder, weapons offenses, kidnapping and robbery. Among the other escapees, was Israel Rivera-Sanchez who according to Pakman, was captured in 2005. www2.amw.com/site/archives/19990109/Memendez.html

THANKS for finding that! I'll be able to do a thread on Menendez sometime now.

Anyone have a current photo of decent size of Jesus De La Herran? His AMW archive has his full-profile still but the picture links don't work. I was able to find one very very tiny picture too pixelated. As emotional as his case was, not sure if I want to do a profile without a current picture unfortunately.

This is an American Greed fugitive but I'm having trouble confirming if Harold or Juan Rangel are still wanted. I haven't seen their episode yet but they are in the summary description. I think Juan might be in jail but not Harold but not sure since the FBI removed his profile.
I would like to eventually have every fugitive profiled on CNBC's American Greed on our site. But Harold Rangel might be the one exception or one of very few exceptions that I don't put on the site since I can't find any confirmation he is still wanted.

Browsing through more archived law enforcement websites and came across this case that was aired on AMW on Mar 8, 1997. On Dec 31, 1996, Jaquelyne Arauz and Abel Perez were found murdered inside the furniture store where they worked in Coral Gables, Florida. At the time, a man named Luis Mariano Lopez was wanted for questioning in the murders because he was seen casing the store the day before the murder. The only issue I have with this case is that I don't know if it's still open or if Luis Mariano Lopez is still wanted for questioning because there's nothing currently online about it. web.archive.org/web/20010805002404/http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/Senate/1521/perez.htm

Ok- when it comes to profiling cases- I would like to do cases aired on AMW most recently since those are usually the most likely to be solved. I've compiled a list of fugitives from AMW's last season on Lifetime and last Fox specials where I am still unsure if they're still active cases, for all I know they could have been captured and/or had their charges dropped (a few I was able to confirm thankfully). Even if I can confirm, then the question of having enough info to make a thread comes into play, but that's besides the point. I've broken them down into length as well (to the best of my memory). If anyone finds out anything confirming these are active cases so I can profile them in the future please let me know!:
Full-Profiles:
Mario Duran Luan Kastrati Ibrahima Ragis
Half-Profiles:
Andreas Dewor Won Kim
Brief or unsure of length:
Jaime Macias (I can swear he was on the FBI's website but now isn't) Gregory Chandler Wesley Lattin
Also, still can't find any confirmation on if Jonah Fialkoff is still wanted or not. He was a full-profile case so perhaps I should eventually make a thread on him.

Mario Duran has been wanted since 1996 so I'm pretty certain he's still at large.
Jaime Macias was on the FBI's site but they deleted him (they do this every so often, even with still at large fugitives. My guess is that they aren't actively searching for him right now.)
Yonkers, New York had a Most Wanted Page at one point with Luan Kastrati on it, but they appear to have deleted their page (I hate it when law enforcement sites do that)

Duran I assume is as well- but the problem is after learning last year of so many cases resolved never reported- we may have a few on this site already- I'm more focused on profiling the cases I can 100 percent confirm or satisfactorily confirm with some sort of website. For instance, even though the LAPD most wanted site is a bit outdated, because it's still "officially" part of the LAPD's website, it's good enough for me. Duran is just common sense, which isn't good enough for me at the moment.
Macias perhaps is just not active I agree.
Not only is the Yonkers Most Wanted list down, but I remember when they did have it, Kastrati was removed, leading me to wonder if he was captured and/or had his charges dropped.

Scumhunter posted the same time I did, but I'll add this Randy Rillieux was captured in 2001. His capture report actually appeared on the old amw.com (https://web.archive.org/web/20040413134906/http://www.amw.com/site/recent_captures/randyRilieux.html)
