I have a very interesting development from a certain one term Governor of Kentucky I believe he proceeded the current democratic governor Andy Brasher as far as governors go I know almost nothing about him but I know that he was very unpopular and granted pardons to a variable rogues Gallery of criminals including Patrick Baker who would be convicted for a brutal murder pardoned and then released but is serving 35 years in thanks to federal murder trial and at least he won't be able to get out for the whole term and micah scholete who was sentenced to 10 years until he was also pardoned and is serving 7 years on federal prison for immediately going to being well a disgusting sexual deviant but third times the charm he has struck out well he he shouldn't have done it the first time but I digress a man who was pardoned and released for killing his own infant child which never should have happened he was charged with first degree assault for giving a woman a tragic brain injury what were you thinking Bevin if I was in his shoes I would have made all these guys stay in prison my source is wykt.com

With it being Labor Day weekend, I just want to let anyone that’s currently undecided to vote, to go out and vote, because the current Harris/Walz Democratic ticket is basically what both factions of the 2016 electorate wanted. This ticket isn’t radical it’s a common sense agenda that helps regular working people. When it’s not election time I admit I’m not political and I wasn’t interested in voting for anyone this cycle but the stakes are high and the Democrats have the best ticket so far this century.
If the Democratic Party runs and supports people like Tim Walz’ caliber nationally for congress, governor and president or vice president, they would win elections similar to how FDR was winning elections back in the 1930s and early 1940s. The Republican Party as long as they’re stuck on the Trump train, they won’t be getting anywhere near the White House and if they do lose, I hope they try to get Trump out and away from their party because he’s hurting them not helping them and their ideology isn’t helping either, so they have to change if they want to win. Both Conventions had very distinct atmospheres and to be honest I really loved the Democratic convention this time around, a lot of unity and diversity, the GOP is a party of brain rot and hate, which I do not advocate for.
Once again please go out and vote, this election is between Democracy and Autocracy, because another Trump presidency won’t do us any good, the first one really messed us up, that we had Roe V Wade partly because of the GOP and Trump, and party because Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a bit selfish because she didn’t retire during the Obama years.

Thank you for this. Also if I can go on an off-topic rant, as you said, voting is absolutely necessary but I wish liberals could learn to take W’s and not doom all the time when they can. There are so many polls showing Harris ahead now and even talk of her possibly being competitive in Florida Texas and Ohio and all I see are liberal doomers about how Hillary was supposed to win in 2016 and how Trump didn’t lose as badly as everyone thought he would in 2020 and it was a relatively close race between him and Biden. Hillary was a terrible candidate and everyone was turned off but her personality and anointing herself Queen like it was her god given right to be President one day. In fairness, she wasn’t entirely evil, but republicans ran a smear campaign against her for 20 years. They nominated a person that inspired conservative voters to vote against her, much the same way in 2020 it was sort of voting against Trump than voting for Biden. Democrats have been overperforming in most polls since then and lots of Trump supporters have died off from covid. That’s not to say don’t vote. Polls don’t matter vote. Don't get too complacent- I will be forerver worried about Trump until the day he's no longer a nominee (or god forbid in political office again) and hate to say it- feel Trumpism won't die until he finally dies (but it should be natural causes and I would have not condoned had Thomas Crooks' attempt actually succeeded) but enough with treating Trump like he’s some magical boogeyman. Democrats have overperformed expectations as well. It’s a matter of getting everyone you know to vote especially in the swing states. I am forever worried about Trump and that he does have a large base of loyal voters but let's keep the positive optimism that Harris and Walz refreshingly installed as well and turn this sh** out lol.

Now I have known about this for a few days but I thought it was very important to break the news at first I have to say this xiomaria castro I had high hopes for and up until recently she being the president of Honduras was a major improvement over Juan Orlando Hernandez who basically was turning Honduras into a well I think I can't state it any other way a narcostate I hate to say that but he's now a convicted drug trafficker and basically protected them during his presidency after his parties candidate lost he was extradited to stand trial in new York and convicted however I may have been hoping to much this has really rubbed me the wrong way apparently Castro has terminated the extradition treaty with the US meaning we may have lost our last hope for fugitives in Honduras however the reason I they have was a comment made by the us ambassador to Honduras but i did a lot of research castros nephew who is defense minister who was having a meeting with a Venezuelan alleged drug trafficker however Castro nephew had to resign in 2013 do to allegations of drug trafficking and her husband who was also president of Honduras but was overthrown by the honduran military in 2009 and forced to resign and this makes me wonder if they were really giving more than lip service I hope we can repair this because we need them and they need us the people and the opposition parties feel the same hopefully it works out

Vital central American ally El Salvador who has been invaluable to capturing and fighting drug trafficking and stopping the flow of street gangs from getting more members and vital leaders in US custody and to face justice and while I don't agree with the current president of El Salvador I do think he's been invaluable in hunting down American fugitives and international fugitives as well even though extradition can move as slow as a turtle but I digress the El Salvadorian authorities particularly the leader of the police officer the whole country basically their equivalent of an attorney general here in the states Mauricio arriaza was killed in a helicopter crash alongside a fugitive wanted in connection with a mutli billion dollar embezzling scheme Manuel coto from the border of Honduras after he was detained by Honduran authorities anyway the police chief was en route to san Salvador to have him face trial but sadly the helicopter crashed shortly after taking flight every one including the chief and the fugitive banker were killed the Salvadorian authorities have launched a investigation and have requested international assistance now the gang crackdown has led to the gangs being down by 90% in his words it has not gone away but neutralized and I agree that a lot of them have been very much havent been granted due process and the El Salvadorian doing that is revoltingly horrific but thr reason i mentioned this is because the president suspects that the remaining gangsters don't have the capability as of this moment but I still think it's possible it could be a plausible theory but i agree it is suspicious that it just happened to crash with two hvis i hope if this was tampered with the perpetrators will face justice

That was a fun debate. The irony is Trump was doing okay until Kamala mentioned his crowd sizes and he went insane. He's always done in by his own vanity lol. The other thing is- we all know Trump's always been a nutjob but there used to be some method to the madness- he seems legit insane now where it's not just an act anymore- he really has gone nuts- that the same way everyone was concerned about Biden after his debate- there should be talk about whether Trump has Alzheimer's and questions about his mental acuity now as well. He screwed up by picking JD Vance as no one not even Republicans want that guy to be the nominee if Trump couldn't run anymore- (as much of a hack as Marco Rubio is, he's a sane doesn't rock the boat one way or the other hack) but of course Trump doesn't care about screwing the party over so it doesn't matter to him.

The election is now in 3 weeks, and once again I advise everyone in the United States to please vote… VOTE VOTE VOTE, this is a very high stakes election, our democracy is at stake, we can’t allow Trump to get in again pretty much treat the presidency like it’s a toilet bowl just like when he was in office the first time.
In times like these with all these wars, and the tensions within the country we need a steady handed leader like Kamala Harris in office, who is capable and composed when it comes to making decisions, not a moron like Trump who may potentially light up the world in conflict and worse cause chaos and conflict within the U.S.
This isn’t a joke anymore it’s time to really take it serious and put country before party, put country before idiocy, because if we lose democracy, it’ll be very dark times and getting democracy back will be a long road once it’s gone.

Just saw the pre-Trump coverage of his MSG rally on the Meidastouch YouTube channel. The direct parallels of Trump’s campaign to Nazism seriously makes me want to vomit. And we are just seeing Trump speak now. There is no more important election where voters can make a positive change, and literally defeat fascism. If you care about living in a democracy and not Putin’s Russia, then please get everyone you can to vote. Your descendants will remember you as the generation who stopped American fascism.

Ok for my own sanity I have to post some updates in the Israeli Hezbollah conflict as many of you know back on September 27th Hezbollah founder and leader and secretary Hassan nasrallah was targeted in a Israeli airstrike alongside several other important leaders Including a high ranking ally of hezbollah and member of the Iranian revolutionary guard corps he was taken out with several other Hezbollah leaders and then a few days later heir apparent hashem saifeddine on October 3rd I mention this as a analysis both Hezbollah and Hamas have lost very important leaders some dating back to the rise to militant power I wanted to bring this up because I read today that after the deaths of both Hezbollah leaders in rapid succession that they have elected a new council and secretary general named naim qassem I think from a analytical stand point that Hezbollah will not be the same from what I have read the old guard once they go the new guys lose a lot of the same staying power

I was kind of quiet here because I'm going to be honest- despite the polls trending towards Kamala Harris, I had a nagging feeling the past week that Trump was going to win the Presidency again and unfortunately I was right. I just didn't trust this country where the election of a black man caused racists to lose their and elect Trump in the first place to elect someone who was black AND a woman. (This is also why I didn't want Pete Buttigieg to be the nominee- a gay man had an even worse shot imo). I think it's telling that the only person to have ever defeated Trump in an election was another old white man.
The thing is Kamala Harris actually ran a pretty good campaign and to nerd out here it reminds me of Jean Luc-Picard's line on Star Trek "it's possible to make no mistakes and still lose. That's not weakness, that's life." Trump unfortunately has a large base of idiots that he got out to vote, and this country is still full of racists.
So far Democrats look like they might just barely take the house which is desperately needed to at least preserve some democracy.
And yeah I know some people say at least this wasn't 2016 but to me this feels worse because in 2016 we didn't realize how bad Trump would be. I can't believe our attention spans are so short that we forgot the chaos that was his Presidency. I'm also of half-Ukrainian descent while my Jewish father that grew up in World War II is battling kidney cancer and now has to worry about spending the last years of his life the same way he spent his first years.
Also, this forum is based on holding people accountable and getting justice. It is apparent now Trump will die never having to have answered for anything in his life. So it's apparent we can only hold people accountable who aren't rich and powerful. I hope there is some sort of karma in the afterlife since this guy who survived two impeachments covid, multiple assassination attempts (not that I condone those), a McDonald's and carbonated beverage diet, and numerous felony and civil convictions is somehow going to be the f***ing President again.

I wanted to add in the Senate races the gop also flipped seats from West Virginia which we could all see coming because manchin retired and would not seek reelection and I was pretty surprised that sherod brown lost in Ohio I believe he was pretty popular in Ohio that's what it said online and Wikipedia said but given how competitive Ohio has gotten it could have gone both ways to be frank
