The Spina Bifida Rapists and Cesar Barone shut out Esat Bici and Paul Herman Clouston 4 to 0.
Round 2, Division 13
Shawn Windsor, #801, Jly 15, 2004 A serial wife beater. One of his abusive marriages began when he walked down the aisle... of a grocery store after convincing a friend of his who worked there to let him hold a free wedding. In another incident, he severely beat one of the wives when she couldn't learn how to drive a manual shift car. After an abusive marriage in Louisville, Kentucky, the violence hit an erupting point 3 days after Christmas 2003. After luring his last wife and their 8 year old son with the ruse of dinner, he stabbed his son in the heart and bludgeoned the ex-wife to death with a barbell, then wrote a bloodsoaked letter confessing to the murders. About a month after John Walsh named him one of his original Dirty Dozen, an AMW tipster busted him working in an auto parts salvage garage in Shelby, North Carolina. He expressed remorse for killing his last wife and his own son, and the judge condemned Windsor to death after he himself admitted it would be the only punishment to fit the crime.
vs
Randolph Franklin Dial, #835, Apl 5, 2005 A prison escapee with a mysterious life story. In 1981, he went to prison for carrying out a contract killing for an organized crime network in Oklahoma. Just before September 1994, he escaped a medium security prison. Cops thought he might've been holding a prison guard hostage, and had no idea what was happening to her. In November 2001, he may have called an author to write a book on his exploits. He was busted on an east Texas chicken farm, living a mysterious, low-profile life with the prison guard who wasn't in as bad of shape as cops feared. Sentenced to life, he died in prison in June 2007.
and
Christopher Cornelius Goins and Monique Michelle Littlejohn, #325/#326, Nvb 17, 1994 The trouble started with a sexual relationship Goins was having with a 14 year old girl in Richmond, Virginia named Tamika Jones. Before long, he got her pregnant. In October 1994, someone tried to view the ultrasound images. In an attempt to cover it all up, he opened fire on the entire family. The girl's parents, her 7 month old fetus, and 3 of her younger siblings were killed in the bloodbath. The 14 year old girl and her youngest sibling were wounded. Monique Michelle Littlejohn (#326) was Goins' girlfriend at the time. She was a convicted drug dealer and forger charged as an accessory to the massacre for storing Goins' guns and ammo. They were both busted in a Brooklyn, New York apartment. Condemned to death in July 1995, Goins was executed in December of 2000.
vs
John Emil List, #50, Jne 1, 1989 A lawyer and accountant. In November 1971, he shot his wife, mother, and 3 teenage children to death in their crumbling 18 room mansion. In spring 1989, AMW hired Frank Bender to create an age-enhanced bust of what he might look like after more than 17 years. List was busted working as an accountant and attending church services in Richmond, Virginia. His appearance matched Bender's bust almost perfectly, glasses and all. Sentenced to life without parole, he died in March 2008.
First, my vote is for Randolph Franklin Dial. After he broke out of that prison, a thick layer of mystery surrounded the case and his whereabouts. People were worried sick about the prison guard he took with him, and she was recovered in fairly good condition, just two years before Dial was doomed to die. If it hadn't been for AMW, she may have never been recovered.
Second, my vote is for Christopher Cornelius Goins. He was a child sex offender, had far more casualties, and in general his victims were younger. Plus he was among the few captures to get executed. I'd say he's THE most underrated capture in the roster next to Cesar Barone.

First vote is for Windsor. I LOVED the capture of Randolph Dial and it was one of the most captivating stories in AMW history, but Windsor stabbed his own 8-year old son in the frigging heart! It doesn't get worse than that. Plus, it turned out a jury decided Bobbi Parker was not so willing and she was later given a jail sentence (and later released) for helping Dial escape. ( www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2125626/Bobbi-Parker-trial-Wardens-wife-released-jail-prison-lover-kidnap-case.html ) Second vote is for John List. I know some captures may be more underrated and/or statistically worse than more famous captures but List is considered pound by pound the greatest capture in AMW history whenever there's articles made about the show's greatest accomplishments. It was 19 years, the top 10 list, and all they had was an age-enhanced bust which miraculously turned out to look exactly like him. AMW was somewhat popular from the beginning but List is what REALLY put them on the map. I don't want to influence too many votes here, but I personally think it would be a huge upset if List didn't make the final round. (In NCAA March Madness terms, it would be like one of those small lower-college seeds beating a 1 seed

John List was never on the FBI Ten Most Wanted List. I recall it being mentioned on the old forum that AMW said List was an FBI Top Ten fugitive on Lifetime but that's completely incorrect.
Anyway my votes go for Windsor and Goins/Littlejohn. Windsor for the brutality of his crime when compared to Dial. Goins/Littlejohn for how underrated their captures are when compared to List and the Goins/Littlejohn case was more heinous than List's.

Oh wow, I never knew that. Well, anyway, he was wanted by the FBI, top 10 list or not, so still voting for him.

Both match-ups ended in draws. I now have to flip a coin several times to determine the draws, taking best four out of seven. First, if heads, Windsor, and if tails, Dial. Second, if heads, Goins. If tails, List. Aaand... First, I got tails, and second I got heads. Shawn Windsor and Christopher Cornelius Goins advance to Round 3
Round 2, Division 14
Calvin Allen Bennett, #912, Nvb 19, 2006 For almost a year, he'd been hiding out in an elderly Arkansas couple's barn. In October 2006, he robbed and brutally murdered them, tied their bodies to a rope connected to the hitch of a truck, and dragged the bodies into the woods, disconnected them, and left the bodies to decay. Somehow he managed to steal their truck and make his getaway. On Nvb 18, 2006, he was aired on America's Most Wanted, and John Walsh made him the newest member of his Dirty Dozen list. In the fastest capture of a Walsh DD12 fugitive, an 18 year old college girl in Rothschild, Virginia had been dating him, saw the show, and busted him in the morning of Nvb 19. He's now serving life in prison without parole.
vs
David James Roberts, #1, Fbr 11, 1988 A master criminal out of Indiana and one of the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives. He has been in trouble with the law nearly his entire adulthood. In 1974, he murdered a couple and blew up their home, leaving their baby to die of smoke inhalation. A few months later, he raped a woman and set down her infant son just outside of her car, leaving the little boy to die of cold air exposure. He was caught and condemned to death, then he got commuted to 6 life terms. In October 1986, he escaped from prison. He was busted working as a coordinator for a homeless shelter in Staten Island, New York. He's currently serving 6 life terms as before he escaped.
and
Steven Ray Stout, #34, Dcb 6, 1988 In January 1988, in Utah, he broke into a woman's home. When her 19 year old daughter returned home from work, he murdered both of them using a knife, a ball-peen hammer, and a Pepsi bottle. He was added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list a few months later. And a few months after THAT, an AMW tipster busted him working as a handyman in Gulfport, Mississippi.
vs
Daniel Robert "Slim" Campbell and Todd Wayne Mulder, #823/#861, Jnr 25 / Spt 16, 2005 The Unknown Jordan Allgood Killers. In November 2003, Campbell entered a rare coin dealership in Utah, tied up the dealer, a generous, charitable man named Jordan Allgood, and robbed the dealership, shooting Allgood dead. He was busted in Las Vegas after questioning. Then he gave up Todd Wayne Mulder's location: Mulder was serving time on other charges in another prison in Las Vegas. For his testimony and expressing remorse, Campbell got 5 years to life, and Mulder was sentenced to 3/4 century to life.
First, my vote goes to David James Roberts. Even though Calvin Allen Bennett's capture is my screen namesake here, David James Roberts was on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted for 4 murders, including the deaths of 2 babies! Second, I vote for fellow FBI Ten Most Wanted fugitive Steven Ray Stout for his death toll of 2.

That was an exciting prior round! I think every possible combination of votes happened in it!
Anyway, this will probably a less dramatic round, as I also vote for Roberts and Stout.

David James Roberts and Steven Ray Stout shut out Calvin Allen Bennett and the Jordan Allgood killers 4 to 0.
Round 2, Division 15
Kenneth Cole, #110, May 10, 1990 An ex-babysitter. In April 1989, he abducted a 5 year old girl he was obsessed with named Nicole Ravesi from Massachusetts. A campsite owner in Eastpoint, Florida recognized him and busted him. Ravesi was AMW Missing Recovery #1.
vs
Kenneth Sorrell "Boobie" Williams, #566, May 23, 1999 A legendary South Florida drug czar and commander of the Boobie Boys drug gang. His revenue was conservatively estimated at 85 Megadollars, and his underlings had murdered at least 35 people. He was busted in Clarkston, Georgia, and as he went down, he wet himself "like a frightened child". Rumors say he got 3 life sentences.
and
Michael Alfonso, #803, Jly 16, 2004 An FBI-designated serial killer. In September 1993, he murdered his pregnant ex-girlfriend Sumanear Yang. In June 2001, he shot another ex-girlfriend outside the McDonald's she managed in Illinois. Some of his other convictions included rape, stalking, and desecrating a human fetus. It's likely he killed and wounded other ex-girlfriends of his. He was busted in Vera Cruz, Mexico, and until he admitted to his crimes, he claimed he was crazy and thought his meals were being poisoned. He's now serving 3 life sentences with a threat of death penalty if he ever escapes prison.
vs
William White Graham, #247, Apl 14, 1993 In Oct 1972, he joined forces with an old friend of his from high school for a bank heist plot. It went haywire, and from the bank to the airplane he boarded to flee, he killed 3 people and wounded 2. The fugitives spent most of the next 2 decades in and around Cuba. One by one, the conspirators fell, until Graham surrendered in Washington, DC under mounting pressure from AMW. At 20.5 years, it set a record for oldest case AMW had ever solved at the time. To this day, it's the oldest triple homicide AMW has ever solved.
First, I voted for Sorrell. The Boobie Boys were responsible for dozens of murders via which this legendary drug czar and severely underrated capture struck it filthy rich... then he went down like a frightened child.
Second one was hard. A convicted rapist / stalker / at-least triple murderer? Or the oldest triple murder ever solved by AMW? Alfonso could've killed many more victims, and it ultimately came down to who had more mystery surrounding his crimes, so I voted for Alfonso.

First vote was for Williams, although it pained me to vote against Cole since that is a "best of both worlds" capture.
Second vote is for Graham. Like you said, it's difficult and pretty much a tie where if anyone does a coin flip it's understandable. But what breaks the tie for me are A) the cold case status of Graham's and B) Although Alfonso of course technically counts as a direct capture, and everything says it was, AMW seemed to shy away from taking credit for it for whatever odd reason. I'd rather go with the definitive direct result.

My first votes for Cole, since his capture showed that AMW wasn't just a show to capture fugitives, but also to save children.
The second one is tough. Alfonso is an FBI 10 Most Wanted serial killer, with a long record and other possible victims. Graham, however, has more confirmed victims, had an amazing escape plan, and had more years on the run until he surrendered due to pressure from AMW. Therefore, due to his longer period on the run, and more victims, my votes for Graham.

Kenneth Sorrell "Boobie" Williams and William White Graham defeat Kenneth Cole and Michael Alfonso 1 to 3. Now for the last match-up of Round 2!
Round 2, Division 16
Dwight Smith, #1000, Apl 19, 2008 A Manhattan realtor. After loaning a man named Gary Mills 100 Grand, the loan was blown. He tied up and held Gary and his pregnant wife hostage in May 2007, and shot Dougal Mills to death just before he would've interrupted it. The hostages managed to escape out a window and down a ledge. A few months later, Gary Mills' wife gave birth to a healthy boy. A few hours after John Walsh named him his 2008 50/50 Fugitive #NY, AMW tipsters busted him in Richmond, Virginia. A police chief said to the arresting officers, "Congrats on a thousand, boys!"
vs
Bryan Richard Roser, #475, Jly 16, 1997 A serial sex offender. In 1985, he molested his own son and raped a 9 year old girl in Pennsylvania. It's likely he abducted and sexually murdered another 9 year old girl. In July 1997, a few days after his airing on America's Most Wanted, a tipster found his body at a campsite in North Carolina. He had hanged himself.
and
Arthur Torres, #600, Jnr 28, 2000 A member of a California gang that had little respect. In May 1999, during a meth high, he and his accomplices shot two teenage boys to death. About an hour or so later, he and his cohorts kidnapped a man, gouged out his eyes, and threw the victim off a cliff to kill him. The accomplices were arrested but Torres got away. An AMW tipster led the SWAT team to Arcadia, California. After a 2-day sit in, they cuffed him. Torres is now serving 4 life terms with no chance of parole.
vs
Kenneth Allen McDuff, #202, May 4, 1992 His series of 14 murders started in August 1966, in Fort Worth, Texas. He shot 2 people dead and sexually murdered a teenage girl in Fort Worth, Texas. Sent to the electric chair, they commuted his sentence literally seconds before he would've been fried. He was released in 1989, and over less than 3 years, he murdered the other 11+ victims. An AMW tipster busted him in Kansas City, Missouri, making a delivery for a refuse collection company just a few weeks after the last murder. He was executed in November 1998, becoming the first AMW capture to die by such.
My votes go to Roser for sexual murder of a child and McDuff for his death toll of at least 14.
