David Alex Alvarez shuts out John Barrett Hawkins, and Mac Minister vs Concepcion and Cross landed in a tie, so now I have to flip a coin. If heads, Mac. If tails, Concepcion. Aaand... Heads! Mac Minister advances to Round 3.
Round 2, Division 5
Timothy John "TJ" Weber, #701, Apl 29, 2002 In early April 2002, he tied down and raped his girlfriend's daughter. When his girlfriend and her son came home in the middle of it, he suffocated both of them to death with plastic bags and left the young girl wounded. About a week later, he attacked and wounded the rape victim's eldest brother and his teacher. After this frightening case unfolded, he was added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list, but an AMW tipster busted him before his addition could be published. He was caught hanging black bags over some windows in a trailer, and may have been condemned to death.
vs
Alan Eugene White, #435, Nvb 9, 1996 The lead story on the first broadcast of America Fights Back, and one of John Walsh's earliest Public Enemy #1s. In Salina, Kansas, in July 1996, he bludgeoned a 5 year old boy and his great grandmother to death, and sexually murdered the elderly woman's daughter. He was busted in Boston, Massachusetts 4 months after the massacre, watching a movie in a homeless shelter. He was spared the death penalty, but got a 14 decade sentence with no chance of parole.
and
Sothi "Player Number 1" Menh and Sam Chan, #479/#510, Jly 29, 1997/Jne 9, 1998 Co-founders of the Asian Boyz street gang. The gang war against Wah Ching started in December 1993 in a California pool hall. Over the next 3.6 years, Menh murdered 5 people and wounded 7. AMW caught Menh in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. In June of 1998, AMW busted Sam Chan, the other Asian Boyz alpha, as capture #510 in Utah. Chan's death toll was liberally estimated at 8. Over the next decade, the manhunt continued for their 3rd member, Marvin "Shy Boy" Aclaro Mercado, who was nabbed as an empty capture near the end of 2007.
vs
Jonathan Jamel May, #1197, Spt 4, 2012 In February 2012, he and 2 other men shot at 5 people in Detroit, Michigan. A crippled couple was killed, 1 other person was wounded, and 2 were unharmed. He was busted in Monticello, Arkansas, but Detroit's police department still sought out Brian and Rakesk White, who were later arrested as indirect captures.
I'll vote for Alan Eugene White for his higher death toll, including the fatal bludgeoning of a 5 year old boy, and the Asian Boyz alphas for their absurd death tolls.

I vote for White and Menh/Chan for the same reasons as 912th.

Alan Euegene White was my first ever capture as a viewer, and my favorite besides Paul Merhige, so of course I'm going to vote for him. Also important is he was the first capture post AMW's first cancellation and thus proved how important it was that the show was brought back. I feel White is sort of unappreciated in the show's history because of that. I do also want to say TJ Weber could have easily won so many other matchups, and I'm actually surprised he's a shut out so far.
My other vote is also for Menh/Chen for the higher death toll.

Alan Eugene White and the Asian Boyz win by shut-out.
Round 2, Division 6
Nicholas "Little Nicky, Seymour, Grampa" Corozzo, #1014, May 29, 2008 A Gambino Crime Family Capo whom even JOHN GOTTI feared! He was wanted for nearly every organized crime type in the book, but the worst was a double murder he orchestrated in late June 1996. In February 2008, a law enforcement agency in the Northeast conducted an operation to "De-Capo-tate" the Gambino Crime Family. The dragnet caught everyone else except Corozzo. Near the end of May 2008, less than 2 weeks after his introduction on AMW's 1000th capture celebration, he folded under pressure, complaining of heart trouble, and surrendered.
vs
Vergilio Pablo Paz-Romero, #148, Apl 23, 1991 A self-proclaimed Cuban anti-Communist. In September 1976, the Chilean government hired him to assassinate a foreign ambassador with a remote-controlled bomb in Washington, DC. 2 people, including the former ambassador he targeted were killed, and 3 were wounded. 14.6 years later, AMW tips led to Boynton Beach, Florida, where he was running a landscaping business. Before he was busted, he picked a shootout with the police, which was caught on tape.
and
George Rivas, #642, Jnr 21, 2001 The de facto ringleader of the Texas Seven. In one of Texas' worst prison break cases ever, he and 6 other inmates serving time for murder, robbery, child abuse, or sex crimes broke out of prison. Following their escape, they shot a police officer named Aubrey Hawkins to death in a store robbery. George Rivas was originally convicted of kidnapping and burglary. Rivas, Michael Anthony Rodriguez (#643), and Joseph Christopher Garcia (#644) were the first to fall; they were busted hiding in a trailer in Woodland Park, Colorado. All of the remaining Texas Seven were condemned to death, and George Rivas was executed in March 2012.
vs
Stephen Leslie Wilson, #200, Apl 2, 1992 In the 1970's, after he got married, he started acting extremely strange, especially with how he antagonized and killed the family dog. After their breakup, in late May 1979, he shot his ex father in law to death. In August 1984, he escaped from California's Folsom Prison. Over the next 7.6 years, he repeatedly bragged that he'd never be caught. A lead from an AMW tipster had him followed to his girlfriend's motel room in London, England, where he was taken into custody. He's now serving life in prison.
My votes go to Little Nicky and Rivas. Grampa Corozzo had been in the organized crime business longer than Paz-Romero had been on the run, and even John Gotti feared him! Though I will admit that it was impressive busting a car bomber whom the Chilean government had hired to kill an ambassador after almost a decade and a half. And George Rivas because that mass prison break was among the worst in American history.

And George Rivas because that mass prison break was among the worst in American history. Oh my goodness these are tough. I vote for Paz-Romero and Rivas. Paz-Romero and Little Nicky were both bad and impressive but I think the fact Nicky went out with a whimper while Paz-Romero engaged in a shootout with police proved just how dangerous he was to all of society and how imperative it was that he be caught. Second vote is for Rivas because he was the ringleader of what many people consider to be the greatest capture in AMW history and perhaps its most infamous after John List. (Some would argue more so) I will say I loved Little Nicky's capture as it proved the power of AMW, and I loved Stephen Wilson for the brag factor, and it broke my heart to not vote for them. But I voted for what I thought was right.

Corozzo's capture showed that AMW still had enough power to pressure fugitives to turning themselves in. Paz-Romero, on the other hand, was involved in a Chilean government assassination. It's even more impressive that he was capture over a decade after it happened. Therefore, my votes for Paz-Romero.
My second vote's for Rivas, no contest.

Vergilio Pablo Paz-Romero defeats Grampa Corozzo 1 to 3, and George Rivas shuts out Stephen Leslie Wilson.
Round 2, Division 7
Robert Thomas Nauss, #123, Oct 30, 1990 A Warlocks Biker Gang vice president on the US Marshal's 15 Most Wanted list. Around the turn of 1972, he was facing charges of rape, robbery, and drug trafficking. Just before the trial, he murdered and dismembered his girlfriend and hung her head over a Pennsylvania apartment building. In November 1983, he broke out of prison for the murder. Over the following 7 years, he managed to start over with a new family in Michigan, and an AMW tipster busted him as he was driving with his wife and children. To this day, he's serving life in prison.
vs
Annette Hernandez, #737, Jnr 9, 2003 In December 1970, she set up a man at a party with a view to robbing him and stealing his wallet. Once caught in her trap, the robbery went bad, and she shot him dead. She got locked up for it shortly later. She and her cellmate broke out of a California prison in May 1972. At the beginning of 2003, her descendant called AMW and confirmed that in August 1985, she'd killed herself by overdosing on prescription medications in Bellflower, California.
and
Pedro Luis Estrada, #73, Oct 1, 1989 A former professional boxer on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list. In 1985, he was involved in drug trafficking and robberies. From May to August 1986, he shot 7 people dead in drug contract hits. He was busted in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, unarmed where his parents were staying.
vs
Kathie Ann Decker Harless, #699, Mrc 26, 2002 In April 2001, she was on break during her work at a flea market. At that time, she walked into an outhouse, delivered a son, and dropped him in the toilet, killing him. Just under a year later, a tipster busted her in a fishing camp in Seville, Florida. She was making a living by selling flea market items as usual, and the tipster called as she looked through a window at Harless. It's believed she was sentenced to life in prison. Her husband Doug remarried to Phyllis Ann Harless, an eventual visitation violator who tipsters would bust as Capture #882.
My vote goes to Annette Hernandez because after 17.4 years, her descendant finally confirmed that she was dead. Second, Kathie Ann Decker Harless because it must've been a horrible way for a newborn baby to starve to death in putrid sludge, not to mention her ex-husband married another woman whom AMW would also catch.

I vote for Nauss and Estrada. As impressive as the direct results of Hernandez and Harless were, Nauss and Estrada's were HUGE news and infamous captures when they happened. Nauss and the Warlocks were notoriously feared in the 1970's, and even had a book written about him. www.amazon.com/Born-Be-Wild-Barry-Bowe/dp/0446364347Same with Estrada. Very rarely would I vote for someone who killed people who were likely not so innocent themselves over a child killer, but not only was there seven victims in total, but he was on the FBI's Top 10 List and a well-known boxer on top of that. And among AMW's early FBI Top 10 Captures as well.

Robert Thomas Nauss and Pedro Luis Estrada advance to Round 3. It's been a long stall, but finally...
Round 2, Division 8
Jessie Lee Baker, #175, Nvb 8, 1991 AMW was after him for shooting a woman to death in Florida and bombing a building in Texas. In Atlanta's Fulton County jail, his fellow inmates were watching the show through prison television, and they yelled "Hey, that's you!" Baker ran and hid before being arraigned for the murder and bombing.
vs
Seymour Pinckney, #79, Oct 22, 1989 For years, he'd beaten and molested his common-law wife's 4 young daughters. In 1978, he killed his common-law wife and the eldest stepdaughter in New Jersey. After 11 years, this prolific child molester turned family destroyer was busted in Mathews Court House, Virginia.
and
Marc Adams, #266, Jly 16, 1993 The notorious part of his criminal history started in the 1970's when he became a serial robber targeting teenagers. In 1979, he shot at 3 teen boys in Modesto, California. The casualty toll was 1 dead, 1 wounded, 1 unharmed. The policeman who responded to the scene was the mortal victim's uncle. In 1986, he escaped from the infamous San Quentin prison, one of the only criminals to manage this feat. Starting in 1987, he'd lived as a model citizen of Puerto Rico for about 6 years before AMW tipsters busted him. A few years later, he died in a prison fight.
vs
Amy Rica DeChant, #500, Jnr 28, 1998 A black widow seductress and worker for a commercial cleaning company. In July 1996, she used her body to seduce a millionaire bookie in Las Vegas, convincing him to buy her a flashy car. After plundering most of his wealth and failing in a search for 100 Grand in cash, she shot him dead. She used commercial cleaning chemicals to dissolve the body, convincing a fellow worker, Bobby Wayne Jones (Capture #469) to help clean it up. Jones was charged as a material witness for that. The body was found in the Las Vegas desert in August 1996. She was busted fleeing a nudist colony in St Lucia, Florida, and had really mean words to say against America's Most Wanted when they brought her in.
My votes go to Seymour Pinckney and Marc Adams. Pinckney had beaten and sexually abused his stepchildren for two years, then killed both his common-law wife and the oldest of his molestation victims. He's one of those rare multi-murderers who were also child molesters. Second, Marc Adams killed a teenager under 20, then broke out of (censored) SAN QUENTIN!

I vote for Baker and Adams.
In the case of Baker and Pinckney both were really bad, but I'm giving the edge to Baker for the uniqueness of his capture. Prisoners watching him on AMW! (If I recall correctly, Baker is also the guy where in final justice we see two girls screaming "they caught Jessie!" In sheer joy, one of the most iconic moments in AMW history)
Second vote goes to Adams, even though it means going against what Time Magazine felt was one of AMW's ten greatest captures ever. The reason for my contradiction to the previous vote is that although her capture was certainly unique, I also take into account sentencing. DeChant to my knowledge has already or will soon be released. Adams died in a fight in prison, the ultimate death sentence.

I vote for Pinckney and Adams.
And Scumhunter, the final justice clip that mentioned "they caught Jessie" , was about Jessie Beeson's capture. One of the stepdaughters he molested for several years told her sister whom he also victimized along with another sister on camera that they caught him.
