I was completely dry out of hope they would ever capture him, just as hopeless as with Bablu Hassan, Robert William Fisher, and William Bradford Bishop. But finally law enforcement came through! This is also one of 2 fugitives who John Walsh named to his year-end Top 10 fugitives lists twice. I also had a Top 30 fugitives of '002, but the only one left on the top 10 therein is fellow double murder suspect, albeit Guyanese rather than Trinidadese, Calvin R Sinclair.

I too so do remember Andre Neverson, not only do I remember seeing him on A.M.W. back years and years ago buthe was actually one of the very first few names that I learned about on "AMW" years and years and years ago back when I started watching it for the first ever time(s)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mouth just dropped when I saw the words "ANDRE NEVERSON CAPTURED"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else notice the new look/font of the "US Marshals Most Wanted" logo on the top of that press release?

Oh no but that's cool and *hopefully* a good sign they'll FINALLY add new suspects soon. Also, it turns out what caught Andre Neverson was he arrested for reckless driving- he bonded out and fingerprints came back as belonging to him. He amazingly didn't use his one-day head start to flee Connecticut. This is why I only somewhat disagree when some of us feel the longer a fugitive stays on the run, the less likely they are to get caught. It's been said numerous times but still fits especially in this case- fugitives have to be lucky every single day for the rest of their life- every single day they have to not make a mistake. Those tracking the fugitives only have to get lucky once. And thankfully, even if it took 16 years, Neverson finally made a dumb mistake and was finally captured. Also, sound like a broken record on this but I was confident Neverson would be arrested one day and was a lot less pessimistic than some may have been considering how long he was on the run- albeit I figured he'd finally get sent back by Jamaican or another Caribbean country's authorities. I'm not surprised that he was captured, just where he was captured. But thank goodness for Neverson's dumb mistake. nypost.com/2018/09/04/man-nabbed-for-15-year-old-murder-day-after-cops-let-him-go/

Amazing capture! So glad they didn’t let him slip away after they let him go for the driving charge

Another really cool part of this capture is someone tagged Manny Puri on my The Hunt/In Pursuit Facebook fan page post. Pakman certainly remembers Manny Puri as a U.S. Marshal that was on AMW many times regarding Neverson and I believe other cases as well.
I should also temper that this is an amazing capture but will not bring the victims back. At the end of the day, no fugitive case is ever a "happy" ending, but it's about getting justice and hopefully now justice will be served.

I think what he was doing was bouncing from Bridgeport to Trinidad and Tobago (there was a sighting of him there at a car show). Plus, Bridgeport is less than two hours from NYC, so I think he was trying to keep a close eye on family and friends while staying his distance.

I'm convinced he was in Jamaica as well, the non-blurred photo he looks exactly like the guy in the video that was shot, but in any case, Neverson seemed to be traveling back and forth between the Caribbean and U.S. and finally got caught thanks to his stupid mistake when he was in Bridgeport.

I would love to find out what information they had indicated he was in Bridgeport. I’m guessing he had contacted friends or family and someone came forward.

From what the articles imply it was no information but simply Neverson getting arrested for reckless driving and DNA matching him after he was already released under an alias. (He surprisingly didn't try to flee after his arrest- he probably figured he got away with it).

We all know how inconsistent AMW was in stating how many times Neverson was actually profiled on the show. Well, I'm working on a project right now where I'm listing all the known profiles of AMW fugitives and counting how many they had. I'm starting with 2002, which happened to be the first year he was profiled.
Andre Neverson was profiled an astonishing 17 TIMES on AMW, from July 27, 2002 until his last profile on December 17, 2011.
I haven't started tracking Daniel Hiers, William Greer and Jason Brown yet, but for the time being, I'm pretty sure he surpassed at least one of those cases.
