In any case, I sent in a tip anyway but I don't see how they don't know already. Seems to be Jamaica dragging its' feet and/or citizens not really caring as well.

He was reportedly seen at an auto show in Trinidad, per the USMS website. Anyone know anything else about this sighting?

I can swear I remember something on AMW about Neverson possibly being seen with a woman and children in Trinidad. But it does seem most recently he's been in Jamaica based on the recent news.

I am a brand new member, and was reading about Neverson on here, and was intrigued. I remembered him right away, seems like yesterday. I'm surprised that he is still on the loose. I looked up his reported alias on facebook, and found a Andre Hampden of Barbados (well, not sure, but seems like a great number of his friends are from there). However, he doesn't resemble Neverson, and is too young, IMHO. I have not investigated further, just wanted to comment. I was thinking by chance that they both had crossed paths, and Neverson decided to use his name.
Thanks, and I am glad to be on board : )

Hey JoJo, welcome to the forum! I too looked up the name on Facebook and none with that name struck me (at least no public profiles) as Neverson. You can always send a tip just in case, but yeah I do agree perhaps he knew someone with that name, on Facebook or not, to make that an alias of his.

P.S. This leaves Francisco Martinez as the only fugitive left at large from John Walsh's 2002 top ten most wanted list.

Wow, ABOUT TIME!! I really want to see how authorities managed to pull this arrest off, because as mentioned, this manhunt has gone all the way from New York to Trinidad and has finished in Connecticut. Very good work to all the investigators involved in making this capture possible. Btw, if this doesn't convince the US Marshals to add new fugitives to their 15 Most Wanted List, at this point, nothing will.

Wow I’m surprised they didn’t have to go that far despite having been on the run for 16 years. I guess this year has been amazing for the FBI Top Ten with Eduardo Ravelo and now the U.S.M.S Top 15 with André Neverson.

Neverson was also captured on Labor Day weekend, which has been incredibly busy with captures. (Elton Jardines, Silvano Echevarria, Oscar Hernandez (cold case fugitive wanted for 24 years), Selvin Zecena-Valdez and now Neverson)
I sometimes joke that fugitive captures are like celebrity deaths in that they always happen in threes- but they actually happened in fives this weekend.

I do agree I want to learn more about how he wound up in Connecticut, those Jamaica rumors never were 100 percent confirmed but seemed pretty solid, so I'm guessing he perhaps fled Jamaica due to too much heat (I don't mean temperature) and was only in Connecticut recently, but I could be wrong and perhaps he was there longer.

If it happens to be that he fled only to Connecticut, and was never overseas that has got to be an exhausting manhunt with all that effort only to find him about 50-200 miles away from where he committed his crime.

It seems based on articles he was definitely in Trinidad in 2005. Where he was before and after still needs to be answered.

Was he dressed as a woman? Beard and all? :-). Good capture.
