(Above photo credit: fbi.gov website) Fugitive Profile as of August 2nd, 2014 (Based on FBI.GOV profile): Alias: Arnoldo Jimenez Rochel Date(s) of Birth Used: February 19, 1982 Place of Birth: Texas Height: 6'0" Weight: 225 pounds Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Sex: Male Race: White (Hispanic) Remarks: Jimenez may have fled to Durango, Mexico, specifically in the area of Santiago Papasquiaro. He also has ties to Texas and North Carolina. Who to call if you've seen him: Local FBI field office or embassy or submit a web tip to tips.fbi.govUPDATE: As of February 2020 anyone with information on this fugitive's whereabouts can also call or text "In Pursuit" on the Investigation Discovery channel at 833-378-7783 and/or submit a tip at the show's website: www.InPursuitTips.comUPDATE #2: As of January 22nd, 2024 anyone having information on Arnoldo Jimenez’s whereabouts can also call America’s Most Wanted at 1-866-AMW-TIPS and/or submit a tip at amwtips.comArnoldo Jimenez is wanted for the murder of his newlywed wife in Burbank, Illinois. Jimenez allegedly stabbed his wife to death in the bathtub of her apartment on May 12th, 2012. Despite airing as an APB on AMW, along with an airing on Jane-Velez Mitchell's show on HLN and an FBI profile, Jimenez has yet to be found. Jimenez was tracked using his phone in southern Illinois near Memphis, Tennessee, through Arkansas to Houston and then to Hidalgo, Texas, near the Mexican border a few days after the alleged murder. His FBI profile says he has ties to Texas and North Carolina but also states they believe he is possibly in the area of Santiago Papasquiaro in the state of Durango in Central Mexico (the area is also sometimes referred to as La Campana in other articles). Another article states he has friends in family in the area. In my opinion, I think this is one of those "Luis Gonzalez" type cases where all we need is a pinpoint location for Mexican authorities to make an arrest, which could happen if AMW or any frigging show that showed fugitives got back on the air already. chicago.cbslocal.com/2012/05/24/police-offering-10000-reward-in-case-of-murdered-bride/www.cnn.com/2012/05/18/justice/illinois-bride-death/index.htmlwww.fbi.gov/wanted/murders/arnoldo-jimenezweb.archive.org/web/20120802045506/http://www.amw.com/fugitives/brief.cfm?id=80068Admin Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

Jimenez for some reason has been removed from the FBI's website so I can't currently confirm whether or not he is still at large as of this update. (7/13/2018). I found a "Justice for Estrella Carrera" Facebook page which makes no mention of a capture but their last update is from 2014. www.facebook.com/Justice-For-Estrella-Carrera-268260043271966/If anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other as to whether or not Jimenez is still at large, please feel free to let us know.

FINALLY SOMEONE HAS BEEN ADDED.... I’m glad he’s been added to this list and this is the first fugitive removed from the FBIs website to land on the list, I hope this is a similar happening with other fugitives like Lisbio Couto.

Honestly this is a great addition, regardless, he’s perfect since he’s been on the run since 2012 and closure is needed, also this case is just perfect as the FBI didn’t have any candidates that stood out on their site for this particular addition, however the FBI still needs to replace Lamont Stephenson and it could be one of those fugitives currently on the site or someone who was previously on it or someone who isn’t on it at all.

He's suspected of killing her just a couple days, if not HOURS, after their wedding, he slashed her with a knife, and cops found the body in a bathtub. I don't understand why this case has gotten SO little attention until now! I hope that, within the week, this puts that last ounce of pressure on Mexican law enforcement to make the capture and send him back, just like what happened with Sequence Number 506, Brenda Berenice Delgado-Reynaga!
Besides one more FBI Ten Most Wanted vacancy, I hope they fill the 3 vacancies on the US Marshals 15 Most Wanted list quickly as well.

He was on the FBI’s Murders section from roughly 2012 till 2018, but at least they added Jimenez, as you mentioned 912th, this happened basically hours after Jimenez and the victim Estrella Carrera got married. Unfortunately Estrella Carrera leaves behind a son and daughter, which makes this case sad and makes me wonder why they didn’t just add him in 2012 or at the very least in 2013. This case could go 1 or 2 ways, Jimenez will either get caught within a few months like Jesus Munguia, or he’s going to be on the list for awhile just like former Chicagoan Top Tenners Fidel Urbina and Luis Macedo.

I actually had Jimenez as one of my most likely in 2018.
I think he would have been added earlier had there not already been Chicago-area fugitives on the list, at one point Fidel Urbina and Luis Macedo were both on before they were caught (I think, I might be mistaken) so there was no way there was going to be three Chicago fugitives at the same time. (Somewhat off-topic but this probably also increases the odds for Jorge Landeros since Brad Bishop was removed so there's only Bhadreshkumar Patel from the Baltimore field Office now).

Also a great addition and somewhat of a surprise since he was removed from the site.
But the crime he's accused of is really underrated in it's brutality and cruelty as Estrella Carrera was found dead in a bathtub still wearing her cocktail dress from the wedding.

Or even child molestor Edward Reisch for that matter. But anyways at the time this murder happened Adam Mayes had been added and killed himself the following day, so they had a month to add him, but instead they added Urbina, as they thought Jimenez would have been caught quickly, but hey better late than never that they added him if it can add additional resources.

Well I'm not sure but I think you can only nominate one candidate per field office at one time. I don't think it was choosing Urbina over Jimenez but choosing Urbina over all the field office candidates because he was at the very least a serial rapist who had murdered one of his victims if not a potential serial killer as well.

I understand Urbina was probably the chosen candidate for the Chicago Field office in 2012 for those reasons. It’s odd that Jimenez was off the site for nearly a year and the Top 10 poster also has another possible location being Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Also his old poster mentioned his black 2006 Maserati (where did he get that money to buy a car like that) but the Top Ten press release mentions he’s not longer in possession of it. Something big had to have happened investigation wise from the time he was removed from the murders section to now when he was added to the FBI Top 10.
