Yeah to be honest I had like a hope he was removed because he was captured and they were just keeping it under wraps until he was officially extradited so I don't mean it in this way- in a way I'm disappointed by his addition. Not because it isn't a good addition, but I was hoping he was removed because he was caught, and this addition confirms sadly he wasn't.
Still, hopefully this new publicity will be what finally captures him.

Well I'm not sure but I think you can only nominate one candidate per field office at one time. I don't think it was choosing Urbina over Jimenez but choosing Urbina over all the field office candidates because he was at the very least a serial rapist who had murdered one of his victims if not a potential serial killer as well. I understand Urbina was probably the chosen candidate for the Chicago Field office in 2012 for those reasons. It’s odd that Jimenez was off the site for nearly a year and the Top 10 poster also has another possible location being Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Also his old poster mentioned his black 2006 Maserati (where did he get that money to buy a car like that) but the Top Ten press release mentions he’s not longer in possession of it. Something big had to have happened investigation wise from the time he was removed from the murders section to now when he was added to the FBI Top 10. I wonder if this is going to be another Brenda Delgado type case where the FBI has a good idea where he's at and this is a final nudge to him and others to give it up?

I’m surprised he was added, but it makes sense. Violent crime, it’s known he fled the United States, and he has a significant criminal history. It seems (and I fervently agree this is the right move) that the FBI is stressing the danger to the public factor more than they have recently.

For everyone wondering where’s the worst of the worst aspect, it’s here, this guy murdered his newlywed wife HOURS after they got married. It may not be multiple murders, but Jimenez took Estrella Carrera who was also the mother of 2 young children ages 2 & 9 back in 2012. They would now be 9 and 16. In a way the meaning of worst of the worst at least to me, is how many people were victims, but the circumstances of a particular case are what determine if a case is worst of the worst.

Usually when the FBI removes someone from their website, they usually get caught, like Wayne Silsbee and a fugitive from Mexico Wanted for extortion, was removed from the FBI website only to be caught in Mexico months later.
Given Jimenez’s Top Ten Poster mentions Reynosa, Mexico (a location never mentioned on his old poster), I think in 2018 they were close to him but had fallen off the radar and Reynosa, Mexico plays an important role in this investigation.
It’s also very telling that when Jimenez was added to the Top Ten List, he was only bumped up to the top of the section on the week he was added, whereas Eugene Palmer was on top of the Top Ten section, made case of the week, and bumped up to the Top of the Top Ten section once again for a good 2 weeks after his addition.
I feel Jimenez could go down in a few months either due to investigation or a tip from someone in Mexico.

Here are the travel advisories for the following Mexican states in which Arnoldo Jimenez May be hiding in Durango state – Level 3: Reconsider Travel Reconsider travel due to crime. Violent crime and gang activity are common in parts of Durango state. U.S. government employees may not travel to the area west and south of Highway 45 and the city of Gomez Palacio. There are no additional restrictions on travel for U.S. government employees. Tamaulipas state – Level 4: Do Not Travel Do not travel due to crime and kidnapping. Violent crime, such as murder, armed robbery, carjacking, kidnapping, extortion, and sexual assault, is common. Gang activity, including gun battles and blockades, is widespread. Armed criminal groups target public and private passenger buses as well as private automobiles traveling through Tamaulipas, often taking passengers hostage and demanding ransom payments. Federal and state security forces have limited capability to respond to violence in many parts of the state. U.S. government employees may only travel within a limited radius between the U.S. Consulates in Nuevo Laredo and Matamoros and their respective U.S. Ports of Entry. U.S. government employees may not travel between cities in Tamaulipas using interior Mexican highways and they must observe a curfew between midnight and 6:00 a.m. in the cities of Matamoros and Nuevo Laredo. If Jimenez is in Tamaulipas and his brother is connected to someone in that state, there’s a chance that getting to him will likely take awhile, or he’ll end up in a body bag. travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/traveladvisories/mexico-travel-advisory.html

Some important clues from last night's episode in that investigators believe Jimenez may currently be hiding in Hidalgo or Durango, Mexico where he has family. He may be using the alias Manuel Reyes.
They also hint at Jimenez possibly having some sort of drug connection. He was arrested on drug charges in 2007 and the DEA was investigating his brother when in his brother's they found the car they believed Arnoldo killed Estrella in.
Estrella's brother mentions Arnoldo claimed to be "in construction" but his hands did not look worn out like someone who does construction work and his lifestyle- flashy/fancy cars and clothes did not seem like something fitting a construction worker.
This is of concern to me as I now have a fear Arnoldo may have joined a violent drug cartel while hiding in Mexico. This is just an unproven theory of mine, but we've seen it with other fugitives.
In any case, this is a scary dude as the In Pursuit profile seems to indicate a guy who can go from 0-100 in terms of happiness to anger in any given second.

Jimenez has been on the Ten Most Wanted List for 1 year now and I have hope especially with Jeffrey Winston Forrest’s capture, that the same will happen to Jimenez in due time.

Don’t know if it’s just me, but I think Arnoldo Jimenez has a very common look to him that IMO he’s a Hispanic version of JDB and Robert Fisher. I mean guys you don’t know how many times I’ve seen his twin lookalikes look like Arnoldo Jimenez since he’s been added to the list..... but then again, when look at these fugitives images everyday, you tend to think every lookalike may be him.

Tbh although I admit to being guilty of saying it too, I think the whole "looks like everyone else" may be a bit blown out of proportion these days. There are some fugitives added to the list or chosen for America's Most Wanted specifically because there's physical traits about them that may make them an easier capture, but for the most part most fugitives look just like you or me. We all see the stories about how people are shocked when their average looking neighbor turns out to be a fugitive and average looking fugitives are caught all the time. It's a habit I'm going to have to break out of. I would agree Jimenez has a common look, but in my opinion I don't think it's why he's been hard to catch. In my opinion, it's a matter of pinpointing where he is in likely Mexico and/or overcoming if he has anyone helping him hide.
