Well (no offense as I know you're one yourself lol) but they're high school students so you can't really expect them to be that mature just yet. I hope they one day realize the actual JDB is a cold blooded murderer and a family is without a loved one, but kids will be kids and let them have fun for now I guess.

That is true, but hey at least it gave this case some publicity which is what these most wanted lists should do.

Very true, I also realize they're making fun of how they look alike and not the sitiuation itself. I'd probably find it amusing too if I were still in high school. (It is admittedly somewhat amusing even as an adult that a guy selling class rings looks exactly like an alleged murderer.) Just that we also can't forget about this case and how JDB desperately needs to be caught to get justice for Keith Palomares.

However I'm assumed that they took it as far as editing the Wikipedia page lol. However this case does shock me, it's 2017 and the FBI added Brown to the list in 2007. That's another addition that'll turn 10 if not caught. Brown is the third longest running fugitive and the only one with an increased reward, in which I'm finally having hope that this year he's due, unless the FBI ups the ante for anyone else currently on the top ten.

Like I said, I'm not offended. I understand they're high school kids and may not have had tragic life experiences just yet. Just I'll find all the Sean Penn, class ring, etc.. comparisons the funniest once JDB is actually captured.

Hey guys why do you think Jason shot 6 times to the armored car guard?
I mean, with 2 or 3 shoots you already know he is going to die. Looking that fact by the mental side there are few options:
- He wanted Palomares died as fast as posible, with no suffering (Remember friends told he was carismatic and went 2 years to the church) - Deeply he was very morbous or perverse to see pieces of brain going out - He were on doubt about his abilities shooting and didnt want to fail, so he shot all rounds in order to kill the guy and dont fail.
Remember, Jason still shooting after Palomares went to the ground.

Quite frankly, the reason I believe Brown allegedly shot Palomares six times is simple- it was an execution- the faster he killed him the faster he could take the bag of money and speed away on his bike. He wanted to make sure he was dead and had no ability to fight back- it was the ultimate cowardice.

Why Brown Is More Lucky Than Smart – Just A Few Examples: 1.) Leaves fingerprint on the bike. 2.) Ditches the bike which would have been traced back to him anyway if he had left no fingerprint on it. 3.) Bike would have fit better in the Escalade vs the BMW…duh. This would have allowed him to keep the bike without ditching it and not leave behind huge evidence. 4.) Cases the theater hanging out front sitting in BMW. After several days his car was noticed by people who work around the area. Just takes one person to get a license #. 5.) Brown buys gun. Doesn’t use stolen one. * Brown buys 45mm Glock in Utah just before crime. * Uses it in Arizona. * FBI has a data base for recent purchases of guns nationwide. Brown’s name comes up for a purchase for 45mm Glock. Brown also buys high power bullets. * 45mm Glock with high power bullets used at scene of crime in Arizona. * An obvious connection that would have had the FBI investigate Brown very quickly. * It isn’t hard for the FBI to connect Brown to the theater-vicinity via bike purchase, hotel registration-cameras-front desk, gym-cameras, restaurants…etc. * A pro doesn’t buy a gun. A pro has a stolen one that can’t be traced to him in anyway. 6.) Brown practices shooting in desert before crime and doesn’t use a backstop...talk about stupid. Shoots truck and leaves owner his name, address and bullet in the truck…stupid times 10. Any smart criminal would have abandoned the whole thing at this point. The less connections 100 miles out the better.
I bring these novice criminal points up because Brown has a Master’s degree in stupid and a PHD in luck, but then again he’s just a lazy party boy who never had a job in his life. He’s a cocky, arrogant, druggie-drinker who uses people, steals from them, and kills with no remorse.
He’s too stupid to go 12 years on his own without getting caught. He’s getting help from people just like him. They can’t turn him in to the FBI because they would have to turn themselves in. He’s hanging with people just like him, but something usually gives out sooner or later in those situations. Maybe year 13 will bring him some bad luck!

Hi Dave, thanks for joining the forum! Great insights here. Brown does have an international business degree and speaks multiple languages, but I would agree sometimes a PhD does not necessarily equal common sense.
And I would agree Brown has been incredibly lucky considering authorities were so close to catching him initially. The hotel clerk recognized him but he left before cops got there. His name was released to the media in a severe snafu since the FBI DID NOT want his name released. His sister lied about the car he was driving when authorities got to her house where Jason had been staying. They had three opportunities to catch Jason in just the first day or days that unfortunately never came to fruition a and somehow there's been no close calls ever since those initial golden opportunities.

Why I think Brown is still in the USA:
Comfort Zone: The U.S. is his comfort zone. He needs to feel comfortable to keep his sanity. The U.S. is big and he knows the West well, from Texas to Washington State. Brown’s Plan-B, if he has to use it, is to have the ability to move a 1000 miles immediately in case he needs to, and to feel comfortable doing it. I don’t think he’s changed at all from his California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Texas, Oregon days from 2004. Midwest: Possible (Ohio, Indiana). Northeast: Probably not to his liking. South: Probably not to his liking…except Florida. Florida: Very Probable - Golf (#1 in U.S. for number of golf courses), Boating, Fishing, Girls to take advantage of, Senior’s to take advantage of, Tanning/Beach, Party, Drugs, Drink, and he most certainly blends-in. Canada: He might have been there for a short time (Vancouver B.C.), but I don’t think he stayed. Why? It’s too flipping cold for that pussy. Also, just because he speaks French doesn’t mean he has to be in Quebec City or Montreal. The cold weather isn’t to his liking, and certainly not for 12 years. Mexico: Doesn’t blend in. Brown has to blend in. Brazil: Possible, but if he needs to leave he’s not in U.S. anymore. France/Europe: No. France smaller then Texas. Europe gets too complicated. Besides, Brown’s comfort zone and criminal connections are in the U.S. I believe. Thailand and other odd places: Silly talk!
So in summary, I think Brown is still in the U.S. Possibly coasting around 6 states on the West side and always on the move. With the exception being Florida.

You make some very valid points, especially when it comes to the cold weather. There was that supposed sighting from a mutual acquaintance in Utah.
Now one location I'm wondering about from all this is some place like the Bahamas and/or Cayman Islands.

Thanks Scumhunter,
This is a good board. I’ve read about 25% of the board so far. Good stuff here!
Yes, the Utah sighting in 08 is a bit unreal. It really has me thinking. The mutual acquaintance was from Brown’s missionary days, and would make the sighting a big deal for the FBI. I hope it wasn't a fake news story when it came out! Some quick thoughts are…
1.) Why would Brown take a HUGE chance and come back to Utah. I mean it’s really dumb for Brown to do that. It’s arrogant to the point of very dangerous. It could be why the FBI is not releasing details. 2.) I would love to know the type of car he was driving and the license number if the acquaintance got it. I’m sure the FBI had a long talk with the guy. 3.) If Brown ran the red light to get away, why didn’t the acquaintance go after him. I mean, it was $100,000 at the time. Attracting police attention with a chase is what the acquaintance would want to do. 4.) Of course, if it was Brown, then he is living in the U.S. or just visiting. Either way, he’s in the U.S. Not a small tidbit of info. 4.) Also, if it was Brown, he might have come to Utah to meet someone and had no choice but to do so. The zoo is always a good meeting place. But, a meeting for what? 5.) I don’t see Brown doing anything with the Mormons. Why take the chance?

Thanks for the compliments on the board. I also believe the acquaintance might have honestly thought he saw Jason but it could have been an "everyone has a twin scenario" where the guy had a striking resemblance but wasn't him.

Dave P I have always thought that Brown has been in the U.S this entire time too. I agree that it would be hard to blend in anywhere else. And that is the big reason he hasn't been caught, he looks like so many people here in the United States.
