I guess if he died his body would have led to him being identified, at least in this country.

I mean during the dateline documentary they said that only conspiracy theorist think Brown is hiding with his father, but what if he really is hiding with his father somewhere in Mexico??? Also here's a photo of Brown years before the murders..... I think.

It's been thrown about but the FBI agents who have the most knowledge of the case do not believe Brown is hiding out with his father. It is strange how so far both have just disappeared without a trace though.

P.S. I think that photo of Brown is after his arrest in North Carolina for stealing golf equipment if I'm not mistaken.

That was back in 2001 too, and this guy is 47 today can you believe it?, now I've said this before on here, but Jason has/had a good teacher teaching him how to hide and go off the grid and it's obvious to me that he got all that from his father as advice.

I don't think Brown is with his father but I definitely think he may have learned how to disappear successfully from him assuming his father disappeared of his own free will. (Keep in mind Brown's father allegedly had mob connections and gambling debts.) I'm getting sick and tired of seeing these anniversary articles. I hope next year is finally the year (or before the end of this year if at all possible. )

He could be the next Cold case capture after Fidel Urbina 😊

Brown is now the sole fugitive with an increased reward making him the most valuable capture.

The saddest thing on this case is that Lina Palomares (Victim's mother) died years ago and she never knew justice.
I think Jason's family is hiding him somewhere. Other possibility its if Jason had mob conections (like his father) he could ve been killed and his corpse hide.

Some people theorize that in order for Brown to go on the run- he had to become a "ghost"- and sever all ties with anyone he ever knew. I guess it's not out of the question he's getting family help but it would be risky since the FBI is still intensely after him.
I've never read anything about Jason having mob connections- only his father- but I guess there's always the possibility.

This might be the weirdest thing I've ever posted in this thread but- I mentioned this in another thread to toptenhunter but I remember a few years ago that although search results aren't as prevalent now there was some sort of inside joke with high school students that a guy working for Jostens selling class rings resembled Jason Derek Brown. (I'm not sure if this one specific high school or high schools across the country). They even gave him a nickname- "Cheese"- and somehow this inside joke made Google search results. (Which is apparently the reason someone edited Wikipedia to put one of his aliases as "Cheese" and one of his occupations as "ring salesman"). I don't think the students seriously thought JDB was really the Jostens guy and it was some sort of inside joke that they looked alike, but I would be curious to hear more about this. I did find one status update, the picture of the guy is in one of the replies to what I'm assuming is one of those students' tweets (I don't want to take any responsibility for our forum by posting the salesman's picture but the picture on Twitter is on the young man who posted it) Link to students tweetI realize this thread may have taken a strange turn, but it is somewhat interesting. I can definitely see why they say he looked like JDB, although I don't think it's really him and was just a joke between students. Although I guess everyone here can judge for themselves.

Ok I fixed previous post because Twitter link wasn't showing up. Everyone can look and judge for themselves now.

P.S. Most of the students tweeting and replying seem to be from Arizona- that is interesting since it is where Brown lived before going on the run. But once again, it seems to be just something they're having fun with that they look so alike.

Aside from that, they ruined a perfectly amazing Wikipedia article, which I edited for a time back in 2013-2014 LOL. They really took it too far LOL.
