So this is annoying me. Sorry for any spoilers but it's been two days. Family Guy killed off the family dog Brian Griffin in this past Sunday's episode. I have seen multiple posts on my Facebook page from people upset and saying they're never watching Family Guy and other people saying they actually CRIED and now apparently there's a fan revolt. So let me get this straight? A fictional cartoon dog is killed off and the internet blows up. AMW, a show that saves lives gets cancelled and I can't even get 500 signatures. I like Family Guy and The Simpsons (Although neither are nearly as funny as they used to be), but it's nice to see where people's priorities are. It just depresses me when I see petitions complaining that Ben Affleck is Batman or about people not liking the actors cast for the "50 Shades Of Grey" movie or Family Guy killing off Brian Griffin get tens of thousand of signatures and no one gave a crap about AMW. I wish people had an easier time putting things in perspective. And of course it turned out Brian came "back to life" in last night's episode. Even worse is a bunch of idiots, not realizing cartoons involve being planned months in advance, thinking their "Bring Back Brian Griffin" petitions worked. And still no one says jack *bleep* about AMW. I understand people get emotionally attached to characters on their favorite shows, and it's ok to be upset, but there really are much more important things in life.

I think one of the reasons Brian's "death" got so much attention is that this year has been a rather bloody year for TV characters. Two of my favorite shows, Sons of Anarchy and Boardwalk Empire, killed off both main and recurring characters almost every other episode. And they're others to, including Walking Dead and True Blood. Of course, if Family Guy was brave, they'd keep him dead instead of bringing back cheaply in what was pretty much a publicity ploy.
It does suck though, that AMW gets almost no publicity, when it's a show that actually serves a purpose.

My Internet connection isn't being very cooperative right now so I won't be able to update the fugitive face-off game until the connection gets better. I also have thread content typed up for a thread on Arizona fugitive Adrian Cruz that can be posted as soon as my connection gets better.

Noticed that there are a large amount of unsolved AMW cases that don't have threads here, so I might want to focus more on them in 2014.

That would be good. I have a backlog of Non-AMW fugitives since we took a month off from posting them I personally also wanted to add more missing children cases this year. Also, so happy this year is finally over! This has been such a crappy year for me overall. But I feel excitedly optimistic about 2014. Usually when the new year starts, there's usually a sense of excitement and hope for what the year could be bring which sometimes fades away quickly (this is why I never make resolutions). But I feel better than usual that this year will actually live up to its promise.

I never make resolutions either. I'm just interested to see what happens in 2014.

Happy official new year everyone!!!! (Well on the east coast at least) If no one minds I'm going to post my first non-AMW fugitive of 2014 in the morning (or sometime in the day). I know it's supposed to be a somewhat celebratory day but I want a head start on catching these guys!

For someone like me that HATES cold weather and has seriously debated moving to California (not just thought about, but debated) this can't be worse news. But it wasn't too bad earlier in the day when I layered up. Now even though temperature wise it's risen it's actually worse now because the wind is picking up.
I heard they closed schools in Minnesota too. That's when you know it's cold. When places used to cold weather say *Bleep* this *bleep*!

Had a weird dream last night that AMW came back but just for one night, but on that show they were going to announce a new AMW spin-off to be hosted by Elizabeth Smart, and oddly enough it would be on MTV. I repeat it was just a dream, but even cancelled, AMW is still on my mind too much. Also, I've confirmed that the man at the Union Station Amtrak coming back from DC I saw giving the public safety "if you see something, say something" speech, was indeed former correspondent Tom Morris. I was so shocked AMW looked kaput after I came back. I saw so many signs on that DC vacation! Still annoyed I was sick for that entire trip. I think I enjoyed the city, but can't really tell since I was coughing the entire frigging time.

I've been questioning some of my personal opinions and morals regarding violence and guns. Just feel ashamed with some the points and opinions I've made on this forum ever since it was created.

I've never found anything wrong with anything you've said even if I disagreed with it. If it makes you feel that bad you can always self-edit or delete. Even I've deleted some of my comments occasionally

I was listening to my favorite radio show, the Opie and Anthony show, and they discussed one of my favorite faux paus that occurred a few years ago. On the Aftershow, with Sam Roberts and Jim Norton, they had John Walsh as a guest. While Walsh was coming in, Sam accidently referred to him as Adam Walsh, and was quickly corrected. John wasn't offended or anything and was great throughout the entire interview, but I always found it amusing. Yesterday, when it was mentioned, Jim told Sam, "You could've accidently called him Hitler, and it would've been less offensive."
