Please no replies about how much you hate sports if you don't follow them but for those that care I think it's really cool the Cubs won the World Series for the first time in 108 years. I actually visited Wrigley Field in Chicago last year so I think I gave them luck (they won game 7 in Cleveland though) Turns out Back to the Future's prediction of 2015 was only off by a year! And we have hoverboards! I'm assuming pakman being a Chicago native at least has friends and relatives who are very happy right now.

I'm glad the Cubs won. Given that I have relatives and friends that live in Chicago I feel good for them and they are happy for sure today.

Chicago gets a bad rap and is just used as an example for crime violence statistics. There are admittedly rough parts but I LOVED Chicago when I visited and it's a toss-up between them and New Orleans as to favorite cities in the U.S. that I've visited. (I feel guilty saying this because I was in mainly touristy areas enjoying myself while many of the non-touristy parts of the cities have some rough neighborhoods). My only problem with Chicago really was the weather and how cold it got at night. This is why I ever wanted to move away from the stress of NYC it would probably be to California lol.

I've been to New York City about a decade ago in the winter time and it's really nice up there, but the traffic by the FDR bridge is a lot. I honestly love living in Suburban Washington D.C. but my complaint is that it's too cold as well. I've considered Florida would be a good place as a good relaxing place.

I honestly cannot really rate when I visited D.C. because I unfortunately got sick during my trip and was basically coughing the entire time I was there LOL. I know I sound like one of those people who always complain about the weather but I find California more preferable because Florida is humid while California depending on the parts is hot but not as humid.

That is true the humidity is unbearable, but after it rains around 4-5 pm every summer afternoon it sorta cools down a bit. I've never been to California to say the least. the farthest west I've gone is Chicago's northwestern suburbs. The farthest south is Tampa,Florida, the farthest North is New York City, and the farthest East is the beautiful beach of Ocean City, MD

Still getting news articles about how America's Most Wanted's website featured now captured fugitive Richard Max Randolph in my news feed lol. And even crazier, U.S. Customs and Border protection apparently thought we were actual AMW as well lol: www.cbp.gov/newsroom/media-releases/all?field_date_release_value%5Bmin%5D&field_date_release_value%5Bmax%5D&field_newsroom_type_tid_1=All&body_value=&page=3I am confused since there have been multiple news articles about cases we covered before Randolph's capture (Dennis Lilly, John Gentry, etc...), and each one acknowledged we were a fan site and not actual AMW. Granted, this was the first article on a fugitive we featured that wasn't on AMW and was just a case I thought was important to bring to public attention. But still lol. Anyway, this is why I made our unofficial page a long-ass thread title up top instead of just "America's Most Wanted Fans", most of you guys here can affirm I never claimed to be AMW right? Have my back lol!

Yeah i have your back that you've said it time and time again that we arent associated with AMW or The Hunt and that were not himself John Walsh, ive seen the same comments on the Facebook unofficial fan pages to both AMW and The Hunt.

Well then i have pride for having made my 1,000th post LOL, but really a huge accomplishment, the last 1,000 posts have been very adventurous, I've talked fugitives, Missing Persons, Unsolved cases and just a little chit chat from time to time, and i look forward to the next however many posts life gives me.

Somewhat off-topic but I've completed all my planned cases for 2016 and will not add any new fugitives or other cases besides breaking news cases, Justice Network/Crime Watch Daily new fugitive cases, FBI site additions, and/or victim case requests until 2017. This gives me time to re-charge my batteries and I want to make it a tradition to take it easy for the holidays.
Ironically I may still be busy anyway since I'd like to take the time to work on other issues on the site (going over threads to see if they need updating, deleting members that joined and never posted or even logged in (screw them! lol), etc... ) I'm also debating if I want to shuffle around the cases again- where the most popular cases are among the first in each section (new readers reading the site want to see the cases they're familiar with up front) but perhaps the more recent cases or more recent updates make more sense as to potential for them getting solved. I may do that again or I may hold off on that until next year if at all, haven't decided yet, obviously if you see the site shut down for maintenance at any point (which would only be temporarily), I decided to do it lol.

Its good to take things easy this time of year, and also good to use this time to get the site issues addressed... so it's a great thing. However I think the cases that should be focused on are popular famous cases and also cold cases threads that don't have much posts on them as it can give us a chance to start a discussion on them (referring to any AMW and FBI cases). Also don't worry about adding threads Scumhunter, I'll add any new FBI site cases from here till 2017 to relieve you of command. 😊
