I was in one of the other four boroughs nowhere near any of the action (sorry sort of purposely vague being the site admin- I'll say I live in NYC since it's a large enough city who cares but I won't go further than that lol).
New Yorkers are pretty resilient and it's always the people that don't live there that panic more than them when stuff like this happens. Not to say it isn't deeply concerning, but all you can do is stay calm and hope the police get to the bottom of things.

I am also relieved that our admin Scumhunter is safe along with his relatives. Of course my heart and thoughts go out to everyone that was injured by this intentional explosion. Hopefully the NYPD figures out the identity of those responsible and prosecutes them fully in a court of law.

This lady that I told 7 zillion times we're not John Walsh or AMW and to contact actual police for tips keeps sending me nonsensical ramblings about AMW fugitive Michele Comstock.
I blocked multiple e-mail addresses yet she still manages to find ways to contact us.
So far Michele Comstock is using her DNA to pose as her, and has also hung out with the real Green River Killer, and Jason Derek Brown who is helping Michele Comstock to murder babies. And Cyndi Lauper is also stalking this woman and behind the murder of one of George Bush's daughters. Also people are after her because she has Titanic inheritance money.
I usually wouldn't make something like this public, but since this is obviously bogus and there's no possible way these could be legitimate tips, I thought I'd share what I'd go through sometimes with our contact e-mail form and just say I wish I wasn't making this up.
She's sent like 15 messages in the past three days. They go directly to the trash but still...
I think right now the best thing to do is just ignore her and hopefully she'll eventually get the hint, but I am tempted to try to encourage her to stop drinking when she's in the UFO.

Why do I have this feeling that these same types of people occasionally called into AMW on Saturday nights as well. It's good to see people are interested in fugitive cases like Michele Comstock, but she seems to make as little sense as the average person arguing on CNN's Facebook page. |

I think this lady is just a nut (coincidentally she just tried to e-mail me again). There was also some lady who used to post on AMW's Facebook page with nonsensical rants about Michael Akerly stalking her and her family in Vancouver. Obviously the goal is to capture fugitives but the show could make people paranoid (it admittedly made me paranoid at times as well lol).
What annoys me is she cc's our e-mail while also e-mailing the Marshals, crime stoppers, and other law enforcement e-mail addresses. I hope they don't think I communicate with her because I want nothing to do with this woman unless I one day choose to do science experiments.

Just wanted to say that I'm aware of the police shootings in Palm Springs, California but want to wait for more information to come to light before making a thread on it. For instance the suspect hasn't been named yet even though this was a domestic call. If a suspect is named I'll make a thread on it (or if anyone wants they can make a thread and if we wind posting at the same time I'll delete mine.)

Suspect was captured alive, but still a terrible tragedy. My thoughts are with the families of the two murdered officers.

Well I wanted to congratulate the members of the site for the recent shout out by ABC 15 Arizona. It's a huge milestone here for the site that we got this attention, but IMO Scumhunter deserves credit as the admin too. This site regardless of how you look at it it's become somewhat of a public service as many cases both notorious and not so well known are on here, we who post make a difference, we assist in seeking justice for those who don't have a voice.

Thank you I appreciate the compliments but a site is only as good as it's posters and I'm glad we have such wonderful posters including yourself (I don't want to start listing names for fear of accidentally leaving someone out- why does it sound like I'm now giving an Academy Awards speech?) We've actually been mentioned several times nationwide and twice worldwide (when Dennis Lilly's body was found and the new leads about John Gentry). I should note that although we got a mention would be even better if we were actually credited with Max Randolph's capture as it appears it's not a result of our site but it's still really cool to be mentioned and I'm sure a fugitive will be captured because of our site sometime soon. P.S. I'm on my phone otherwise I'd give a wink emoji.  |

I did this once with UM on YouTube, trying to post some Wanted people or Missing cases that were still unsolved, unfortunately it got taken down. But I do post on Websleuths in hopes someone will get more information or be interested in researching. |

Well today at school we had a pep rally and I have to say I was really nervous wearing a really big jacket because Sometimes there's people that watch someone closely that it gets so overwhelming that I feel like a fugitive sorta, in particular the now captured Fidel Urbina since I had my jacket zipped and buttoned all the way to the just like in his 2011 mugshot lol .
