So this is a fun update that is not a life or death issue but if you guys notice there is always a "ranking" under a poster's post saying whether he or she is a new member, junior member etc. As admin, I have the ability to change the names of that so to be more AMW-esque there is now ranks such as Major, Sergeant, Detective etc... I think this is good but if anyone has another idea for what the ranks should be called let me know!

P.S. I named myself Commissioner. I swear its' not an ego thing but it just sounds better than admin in an AMW capacity.

Would like some suggestions on how to continue this forum if AMW does not come back which right now unforttunately that seems a finality.
I created this forum because AMW's official message board crashed. But I also assumed the show would be back on Lifetime.
There is still an active message board dedicated to Unsolved Mysteries which has been cancelled for years so I take it this can still be a tribute forum if there's one for the former show of UM. Or we can make it a general fugitive chasing forum.
A lot of people view this message board and I still think it can be a great resource for catching fugitives. But it is a bit discouraging to want to continue this site unless at the very least another fugitive chasing show comes along.
Any suggestions for a direction to take this forum in (or on the other hand if you think things should stay the way they are currently) are welcome.

Personally, I would make the "Non-AMW Fugitives" section as the top priority, and establishing threads for all the previous AMW unsolved cases and at-large fugitives should be second.

Thanks. I'll look into that and despite my reservations before perhaps create a non-AMW capture section as well (if AMW had reached a deal by now I wouldn't have)
I guess it's just I created this forum for the purpose of discussing AMW and now without it I don't know what to do, LOL.
Is a name change and "tv-crime fighting" forum (I can change the url and everything else on this page will still be in place) in order too? Not sure how I feel about that yet.
Like Unsolved Mysteries, AMW could always come back years later. But Walsh and company probably wouldn't be a part of it.

There are still a ton of unresolved AMW cases that don't have threads here yet. However I agree that the focus needs to be non-amw fugitives section now. I wonder if the AMW cold case fugitives and the non-amw cold case fugitives (as far as we can tell that they were never aired on AMW) should be split into their own separate subforums.
EDIT: If Scumhunter agrees with my idea then here are all the non-amw cold case fugitives (wanted since before mid-November 1998) that have threads in the cold case fugitive section.
Sharon Kinne Julio Merida & Esatnisiao Morales Wade Arthur Vallory Lynn Wade Antonio Orosco William Claybourne Taylor Baudelio Medina Maria Rosa Hernandez (Can't fully prove that she was aired) Frank Matthews Sal Guardado Gabriel Melendez Edward Nye Pedro Padilla Flores Philip Breen Paul Joseph Harmon Placido Molina Danny Liggett

hmmm.... I think non-AMW cold case fugitives might be doable and a good idea. I will see if I'm able to do that sometime this week.
Also, as far a non-AMW focus, does this mean you guys wouldn't mind seeing more current fugitives on a weekly basis? I cut back to only once every 2 weeks since the 2013 contenders list was getting so crowded)

Ok so some changes on the site! It didn't make sense to have a Dirty Dozen section since there are only a few left on the site so I deleted the section and moved all dirty dozen fugitives to the general AMW fugitives section (which is now designated as between 2003-2012)
Non-AMW cold case, and Non-AMW captures section added!
I'm still bummed it looks like AMW did not reach a deal. I was fully aware that that might happen, but that very slim hope albeit very, very small is now gone. But I am excited for this forum going forward as we take a more overall crime-oriented and not just AMW-oriented approach!

P.S. I think eventually it may be time to just combine the recent or relatively recent-AMW fugitives with the cold cases but I think for the time being it makes sense to separate them so the uniqueness of the fact those fugitives are cold cases stand out more.

Created a new sticky thread for the Non-AMW forum to explain exactly what it is to new members. Yes, the name says it all, but I thought the mission of it should be explained a bit more since there will be more of a focus on it now.
