I created this forum because the AMW.COM message board is down and I'm not sure if it will ever return since it's from it's Fox days. If it ever does return I'll probably just delete this forum unless other people think it's a good idea to keep it. That is why at the moment I'm the only person here and talking to myself. So that is why this is on a free forum server for the time being. But if it turns out AMW.com's message boards will seemingly not come back, where is a good place to make a permanent message board? Keep it here? A facebook group? Yahoo group? .com paid site (I pay, free for members) so it looks more professional? Suggestions welcome!

also, if anyone has any suggestions for how to promote this without "spamming" other pages it would be appreciated!

I've only e-mailed forum users I already talked to in e-mails before the forum ever shut down. I've also thought of using that e-mail feature to contact people who try to log into the amw.com message board, but not sure if that would be considered spamming either.

also, if anyone has suggestions for other categories besides the ones already listed, that would be welcome as well.

I'm still a current AMW fan. :)Unfortunately, I can't find a send button for modified posts, but I looked and under the white box when you modify a post clicking the "Modify Post" gray bar under it should also send your post and works just like the send button. PS Thanks so much for joining!

I have a suggestion I just came up with. In the AMW Fugitives Subforum you may want to break it up into fugitives by decade in which their crime occured. It would make that section a bit more appealing to somebody if they wanted to look up fugitives from say the 1990s. You could break it up into say 2010s, 2000s, 1990s, 1980s and earlier and General Fugitive Discussion.

I tried and unfortunately I can't create that many sub-boards under the fugitive category and only had room for one more sub-board. But since general AMW fugitive discussion usually involves current fugitives, I added a cold case category to discuss cold case fugitives.

I just noticed when you google America's Most Wanted fans and/or America's Most Wanted message board this now shows up among the searches on the first page! ironically, typing in america's most wanted forum doesn't though.

4 people still! I'm glad your posting Derek but this has been disappointing. I was thinking of maybe creating an AMW facebook fan page and linking it to here. I really feel guilty about posting on the AMW facebook boards. After all my complaining about people who post the same crap all the time, I'm turning into a hypocrite . Also, Tony replied back and I told him about the forum but forgot to send him the link. LOL! I of course sent it for real. So him and former amw.com member Pakman may be joining soon.

Ok maybe that facebook fan page wasn't such a good idea. I created it and only tried to invite people I interacted with or liked my comments on amw's facebook and just got a threatening do I know you? I thnk I'm just going to hope people find it when they look up AMW as I really don't need more of those.

I realize acording to the counter below a lot of guests have apparently been viewing even though they haven't joined as members so I feel better now. it was the same way on the amw.com board. Lots of visitors, but not that many would actually post.
