One thing I'm wondering what to do is if and when a USMS or FBI or Dirty Dozen member gets captured. Do I transfer the thread about them to the capture thread and update their arrest or make a separate thread in the captures section? I thought it was a good idea to have these but it might get confusing when one of these scumbags eventually does get caught.  |

I have an observation to make. I know we have a thread for updates on AMW fugitives, but I was thinking that we could just post updates in the individual fugitives thread. Examples being if updates or news articles come about on Saul Aguilar, Donald Santini or Fidel Urbina.

I think I get what you're saying. I did it before the threads but I was thinking the updates thread should only be for fugitive where threads haven't been made about them. Or are you saying even if the fugitive doesn't have a thread, we should make an update thread giving them top billing instead of a general thread for updates? Like instead of putting the Barretto lead in a general thread making a regular thread about it? Not a bad idea. Would have probably been too much on the old forum but it's doable here. I think in the future if there are new leads for fugitive, we'll just give them their own threads instead. |

1. I have the option of making this forum so members only can read it. I like the general public being informed but im thinking it might encourage more membership and posting if you had to join to read the messages. What do you guys think?
2. If amw..com ever brings back their board I promise I wont be offended if you guys leave for it. The question is should I keep this board id that ever happens?

The question is should I keep this board id that ever happens? 1: If you ever checked the amount of people who registered on the FOX AMW forums and never posted, then what's happening with your forum isn't unusual. You could try it out for a set period of time and see if that makes a difference however. 2: I actually like certain features on this forum that the prospero server on the old forum didn't have, so at least I would probably continue posting here. |

True. A lot of lurkers never posted on amw.com
Also some aspects are an advantage here. I like that you can move threads and posts to other threads and categories and that you can do subtopics and post pics. I fibd it odd amw hasnt taken their forum down since it's now defunct unless theyre planning a do-over

I am just going to experiment with making this forum member-access only but just from time to time just to see what happens in regards to membership. Right now I'll experiment from now until Saturday. And I'll pick another time frame next week. Unless AMW announces a return date. Then I'm going to maximize the views I can get. |

I really like the tradition Derek started of putting dates on the fugitives alleged crimes and state they're wanted from , so I'm going to start adding those to the FBI and USMS and Dirty Dozen fugitives. And as mentioned before, just a reminder to everyone to please post in that fugitive's thread if they're caught and I'll move it to the captures section! No biggie if anyone forgets though. If there's a seprate thread in both the fugitive and captures section for the same person, I'll just lock the fugitive thread and in the last post explain to go to the captures section. Or maybe I should do that anyway? Suggestions? |

On second thought instead of alleged crimes, I'm going to change to when they're added for the USMS and FBI lists. I think it's more interesting that way and some are wanted for a time frame of crimes. For the Dirty Dozen I'll just do state and date of crime since I have no idea when they were added.
