He just sent in a bunch of names. Figuring out when they were aired and other details would take further research.

I would really like to thank the long-time AMW viewer who sent me in many fugitives he believe still on the run from all years on the shows from 1988-2011! However, if they're reading this, I don't think their requests are doable. I don't have a direct line to John Walsh or anyone else who would be capable of such things and updating each and everyone else would be too massive an undertaking. I am just one man. I would of course like to google these names from time to time and see if I can find anything out of curiosity, but there are also time constraints with my job, wanting to profile new cases, etc. I don't think John Walsh or anyone else would have the time either. Not to mention AMW is now essentially abandoned meaning what they had no longer being available. I appreciate the fugitives sent in. However, I feel the request is a massive and impossible task. Just so other non-staff members reading this knows, expect a few new threads coming soon since I've found the details for a couple of these fugitives so far. Thanks so much to the member who sent in this list!

Just wanted to say for the next month or so I'll probably be back to one case a day as I'll be busy with work. Which is probably a welcome relief to some forum members who couldn't keep up or have the time to reply to all of them. As I've said in the past, the only cases where I really would like to get replies is the new exclusive fugitives since I put a lot of time and effort into researching about 300 or more new cases. The others I still would like replies but you can take your time responding lol.

One thing I've learned is not to get my hopes up. We looked on the verge of a direct capture a few months ago but apparently because it's in another country the process will not be quick. Or at least that country is still working on it.
We now have another promising lead this week, and thankfully if that comes into fruition that particular fugitive will be arrested here in the United States.
I have my fingers crossed. Frustrating how close we've been but no cigar just yet.

Ok after a few months of experimenting I've decided it's best to go back to giving the Most Wanted lists their own sections again. Basically, the reason I got rid of the sections in the first place was that the Most Wanted sections- which are often are most discussed cases- were below the tv fugitives section- and to draw viewers in- I prefer they see the cases they're most interested in right away. Then the other week it dawned on me- why don't I just put the MW lists ON TOP of the tv fugitives section? Duh. LOL. On top of that, I thought the threads looked kind of jumbled and confusing mixing in the top lists with the fugitives LOL. So yeah, discuss away now. I know Bounty Hunter will be happy and everyone else seemed indifferent, but I think it's better like this now.

Contacted another correspondent with the hopes of doing another Q&A session with our members. I'll let you know if I hear back. I got lazy and should have done this a long time ago after our great session with Mr. Morris!

Just something I can ask of you guys for a change- if anyone ever thinks I made a factual mistake or type-o, please private message me instead of mentioning it on the forum. Whatever it is can be easily fixed in seconds without anyone ever knowing I looked like a moron for a brief moment. I don't want the general public to think I'm an idiot. (P.S. This is probably good advice for any user to any other user as well. Let then know in private rather than public. )

Ok, the correspondent said "they would be happy to contribute in any way they can." I am a bit confused since they didn't reference the Q&A idea directly and just said they'd be happy to contribute to the site, but I'm assuming they know what I meant LOL. I'll work on making a thread and/or figuring out how to gather questions in the next few days.

Question- Did anyone here have trouble seeing the registration message when first joining the site (besides the old-timers when I wasn't forced to do that yet). Getting tired of how despite the registration message saying- YOU MUST ANSWER TO BE APPROVED- no one ever does, and it's even worse this month. I've had to reject like 10 people this month because of that. We'd have a lot more forum activity if people learned to pay f-ing attention.
(P.S. I realize a troll could still lie their way onto the forum. But blank registrations give me an excuse to do further review and prevent trolls who also didn't read the question from getting accounts).

Figured out the problem with what I thought was disappearing threads. They were on the site after all, but just not available via search. This is still a problem since many new members or even regular members like to look up names on this site in the search boxes, but thankfully ProBoards re-indexed the site for us.
Thanks ProBoards!

I just looked at my security log and I've now rejected six registrations in a row. It's a new record, even for me. Seriously, can someone please answer me, IS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO SEE THE REGISTRATION MESSAGE. Seriously, even if you're already on this site, please pretend to register and tell me if the message is that easy to miss.
The problem is I can't abandon this practice, since I can't tell you how many times I google search a blank registration person since often a person registers with their real name or their username and I find their criminal records, news reports about their arrest, they're related to a person on AMW's capture roster, etc. Or I use the proboards tools and they tell me their ip or e-mail has been reported by many message boards as spam. So you can see why just having blind faith and approving blank registrations is risky.
In effect, I have this to stop trolling. But too many people who might be legitimate posters are getting rejected as well. I wish there was a way to make a compromise here, but unfortunately I'm just one man and we're not a site full of moderators.
I'm so frustrated right now that people don't read, it's ruining the possible advancement of discussions on this site.

Ok, I changed my mind, and hope I don't regret this. I will be more lax with the registration process since we're losing too many potential members (if we had 1,000 people already, I'd be able to afford to be more strict). I'm still going to leave the message up to give me an excuse to review suspicious registrations but if a blank registration doesn't lead to anything too terrible, no arrest records, spam detections, etc. I'll give the person the benefit of the doubt if I can't find any info on them. I will just have to hope if it is a doodie-head who posts, that I catch it in time to ban them quickly.
I realize this sucks for the people already rejected who had registered with good intentions, but if they had bothered to read, it wouldn't have happened to them in the first place.
