Question. Would people mind if I started posting a boat load of cases per day? The reason I ask is I have some free time this week and next and I usually get more busy once we go past early summer, I have about 200 cases of "confirmed" or "not confirmed but confident enough to assume still wanted" left from the old AMW website's last full roster of fugitives and I'd like to have them on the forum as quickly as possible. Quite frankly, I often have had time to post more than one/two cases a day but it wouldn't allow enough time to allow everyone to reply (in addition to not wanting to overload our most wanted lists, which is no longer relevant for amw cases). So the only reason I don't post more cases is so people have more free time to read and reply. However, it seems everyone here has been busy lately and only has time to reply to the threads that interest them anyway. (Not mad at anyone about it, I'm glad we have lives outside this forum. ) Ironically, the summer, when everyone else has more free time, is usually when I'm the one who's busy. So even if there's ten as opposed to two cases posted on the 14th, for example, you can still scroll around and just reply to the fugitive cases you're more familiar with if you have the time. I will still do two forum-exclusive (not counting breaking news) fugitives a week, and once The Hunt comes back that load will likely decrease to once every week or two weeks. So those are the ones I care more about replies for if you had to reply to one. If you don't want to feel overwhelmed, I won't do this.

Why not, go ahead. I was far more active in posting threads in 2013-2014. However now that I know that the majority of these amw.com cases won't be on the 2015 MW Contenders List, I won't be nearly as overwhelmed.

Figure I'd take a vote now that the experiment with the lists in the general sections has lasted a few months. I know Bounty Hunter wants the old format back. How do the other members feel? My reasoning was the sections were under the general tv fugitives and they really should be more towards the beginning of the site. I realized I can always put the lists in FRONT of the tv sections and it would make sense for them to be the first fugitives shown on this site. (why didn't I think of that earlier? lol). This way we can ensure they are likely the first threads read on this board. If we want to go back, some time this week or next week I will change it.

Based on the lack of responses, I'll take it no one else has a problem currently. (If worse comes to worse, I can always sticky "top" list fugitives to their respective sections.

Ok I've stickied "top list" fugitives to to the top of their respective decades section. This should also help for discussion since they will be up front and it makes sense for the top list fugitives to be the first ones listed. (Once The Hunt returns, of course, I may have to change things).

A word of advice for any potential registrants, entering the words "hi" or "hello" do not count as answering the question as to why you're interested in registering. As a matter of fact, it's even worse than not answering the question.

Someone privately message us that we should make a list of all deceased fugitives from AMW. Simply put, that would be way too time-consuming, not to mention impossible since deceased fugitives also include non-direct captures and that is impossible to keep track of. If the person is reading this, all they have to do is go to the pages of 912th's capture directory hit control f and search for "deceased" or "died" and it should let them know which fugitives on the capture roster are now dead.

Ok for some reason someone is sending me lists of fugitives from the old website still not on here. I already know who we don't have, have the same lists myself, and to not play favorites have been adding the fugitives at random. I also cannot add every fugitive on the old website for various reasons, some I have absolutely no proof if they're still wanted (like it's so vague even "assuming" won't work) and some the archive doesn't work when you click on their name so I can't make a profile on them. Eventually every fugitive from the last full archive list will be on this site that I can either A) Confirm or assume or B) Make a full profile for. But that will obviously take time, possibly the end of the year even. So please be patient everyone.

Ok on second view some of these fugitives are claimed to be old amw cases that I don't believe we're on the 2012 update so my apologies to our sender - inner . However right now the priority is 2012 full amw archive list "confirmed" cases and then I can take a look at others. I also still need to make sure the non-tv sections get appropriate attention as well. So if the person is reading this I will eventually get to reviewing more cases however like AMW it unfortunately could take months or even more because of how many cases and people seeking justice there unfortunately are.

The Hunt countdown clock is back for season 2!

On second thought, I'm confused as to how to promote The Hunt with a countdown clock. They have an 8 PM season 1 review show but CNN is acting like the 9 PM is the debut one. I think we'll play this by ear. But us Hunt fans will remember to watch or DVR it regardless of whether we have a clock or not. I will of course be telling everyone to watch!

I would really like to thank the long-time AMW viewer who sent me in many fugitives he believe still on the run from all years on the shows from 1988-2011!
However, if they're reading this, I don't think their requests are doable. I don't have a direct line to John Walsh or anyone else who would be capable of such things and updating each and everyone else would be too massive an undertaking. I am just one man. I would of course like to google these names from time to time and see if I can find anything out of curiosity, but there are also time constraints with my job, wanting to profile new cases, etc.
I don't think John Walsh or anyone else would have the time either.
Not to mention AMW is now essentially abandoned meaning what they had no longer being available.
I appreciate the fugitives sent in. However, I feel the request is a massive and impossible task.

Just wanted to add I will try to compile the cases into a "Master List" and post them here, so if anyone googles those names and comes across our forum, we will have them here at least. And if they have info, they can send it. (Also, the first two "top 10s" sent in were blanks if the person is reading this. This also will take time of course.

What are the fugitive listing records like from 1988-1998 episodes? Unless you are a really long-time viewer or have connections to the show, getting listings for the early seasons would be very difficult.
