Abigail Williams & Liberty German Killer- IN- 2017 (ARREST!)

In Pursuit confirms on Facebook they are working on Abby and Libby's case for an upcoming show. Not sure which show since the season finale is the only episode I know of where there's one case yet to be named so it could be that or a special episode or a case for next season but we'll see. Glad to see they're going to give Abby and Libby more attention though.

A reminder the airing is tonight at 10:30 during Callahan's portion of the show. I hate to say I'm "looking forward" to such an awful case but I have pretty adamant from the beginning In Pursuit had to do Abby and Libby's case if they ever started doing full segments that had no known suspect and sure enough now that they are they are airing the search for their killer. (Or even killers, since they said more than one suspect hasn't been ruled out). So I am glad to see the case get a bit more attention.

Sadly four years later and still no arrest.

Robert Ives, a retired Carroll County prosecutor, says there is more information to be release and it is time that perhaps investigators should reveal a little bit more, as another clue may be what it takes for someone to make a connection.

Saw the HLN specials- they were well-done although to be honest there wasn't much new- although in fairness part of the 2-parter was the debate over whether police should release any additional "new" evidence (it's old to them but would be new to us).

Most interesting part to me was actually retired FBI criminal profile Mary O'Toole- she believes unfortunately this may be a sexually motivated crime and that the killer seemed very comfortable and is probably someone that no one would suspect- he could be a regular guy even married with children himself.

Also I noticed the old "BG" (Bridge Guy) sketch has been automatically updated for the newer one in previous postings of ours- so just wanted to point that out for anyone who comes across our thread and wonder why we're posting about guys who look like nothing like the new sketch being detained as possible suspects. (Although Becky Patty believes the sketches are more similar than one may think if you look at the facial features itself. She came around them after initial frustration).

There is a $325,000 reward being offered in this case now according to an article from last month.

I read a statement from one of the victims’ relatives. It sounds to me like they may have DNA (perhaps touch DNA or something along those lines), but they are waiting for scientific advancements before they really have a smoking gun.

I hate to frame it in a cynical way- but just wondering how we all feel about the odds of there being an arrest anytime soon? I get more and more frustrated since I feel it is finally time to release additional evidence to the public. I understand this isn't CSI where cases are solved in an hour- but my goodness Abby and Libby helped to start the initial solving of their own case and four years later and still no answers.
