Yaser Said gave the absolute WORST explanation possible and I loved every minute of it!!! I was being followed, so I pulled over, left my daughters, gun, and cell phone in the cab and ran into the woods hahahahahahaha.... WHAT!!!! I don't mean to laugh at such a tragic event but his explanation is so idiotic and irrational it was ridiculous... Have fun in jail scum bag, you just clinched it... Beautiful

When Yaser Said testified, I’m appalled at how he conducted himself, he seemed like he didn’t want to be there, very arrogant of him and off topic, but in the same recent bit of news there was a car crash in Los Angeles that killed 6 people and the woman who caused the crash was crying because she may face 90 years, and in comparison I see Yaser Said with that arrogant face, no expression just blows me away, we’re all different in our own respective way, but look at how differently people conduct themselves in court.

Absolutely agree... The guy illustrated what a piece of crap he actually is... Love his comment on how entitled females in this country are... You just proved the States case buddy hahaha

Article about it being official www.dallasnews.com/news/courts/2022/08/09/closing-arguments-to-begin-this-morning-in-the-capital-murder-trial-of-yaser-said/What I also love about Yaser's testimony is he claimed he was paranoid he was being followed and fled before they were shot. I hate to give anyone ideas but a better lie would have been he accidentally shot his daughters because he was aiming at those imaginary people. Thankfully he couldn't lie very well. And yes... finally!!! This was a long journey but it feels good to know that not only was Yaser found guilty but he gets to rot jn jail for the rest of his life and not die a martyr. Bye a-hole, I hope the rest of your life is as miserable as your first 65. And I hope the souls of Sarah and Amina can finally be at peace knowing their father was brought to justice.

Also they found him guilty in three hours. As I said, this was one of the easiest guilty verdicts ever. But the trial itself proved to be intense and emotional even if we knew the likely end.

So glad justice has been done in this case and IMO, LWOP will be a fate worse then death for someone who was all about control of his daughters and their entire life. He killed them when they refused to allow that and will now be spending the rest of his life where he will have every moment of his life controlled by others. Be pure torture for him and he deserves every minute of that.

The next best thing is, given what we've heard about Tissie when she was 15 years old, and their daughters at 8 and 9 years old, Abdel will never get an opportunity to groom or prey on children again.

I know some have expressed certain opinions of Tissie over the years, but I really enjoyed watching her tear into Yaser during the victim impact statement after the verdict. She did not mince words and repeatedly called him “devil”, as she did when asked to identify him at the end of her testimony last Thursday (she pointed at him and said, “that devil there”). It seems she was truly victimized by him and released a lot of what had built up within her over the years. Yaser seemed to say something in response at one point, but I couldn’t understand it.
I also think if the investigators had enough evidence to charge her with anything, it would have already happened. I don’t really enough to pass judgment and don’t think that’s my business anyway.

It’s only fitting that Yaser was handed a life sentence by a woman, when he treated them in a repugnant manner for years and years. He also glared at Patricia Owens and the aunt of the girls and was visibly angry at them during their impact statements. It’s nice seeing that Yaser was at the mercy of those women and there wasn’t a thing he could do about it.

I do have some sympathy for the fact Tissie was brainwashed by Yaser at a young age and emotionally and physically abused by him, but I still maintain she drove her daughters to their deaths. With that being said, I am glad to see her snap out of the mental Stockholm Syndrome and tell Yaser what he is.

I wanted Yaser to just f***ing die when he was on the run and then I hoped for the death penalty when he was caught but I agree with everyone this is a much worse fate for Yaser. Not only does he not get to die a martyr, but now the prison guards will be in control of him, and tell him what he can or can't do.
