Yaser Said- Texas- 2008 (Added in 2014) (CAPTURED!!!!!!!)

Exactly, I just want to quote for myself what I said in 2015 earlier in this thread since it may have gotten buried and more succinctly points out what I was trying to say:


"Speaking of which- I've always been afraid to go down this road since she technically hasn't been accused of a crime by authorities- but many people have been critical of Patricia "Tissie" Said after her Hunt airing. One of Sarah and Amina's aunts wants Tissie charged as an accomplice as well.

I stress this is just what some people believe- but some people seem to believe Tissie knew exactly what Yaser was going to do and helped set Sarah and Amina up.

I will say if you watch "The Price of Honor"- it's now available on a thing called VHX and will soon be available on Amazon Prime- I'll let everyone know when that happens- as bad as Tissie looked in The Hunt- she looked even worse in TPOH. Just about everything multiple people would say about how things went down were either contradicted or downplayed by her.

I've always been afraid to go down this road for legal reasons- I don't want to imply Patricia did anything- however, I feel legally speaking we are allowed to give our opinions while stressing they are only opinions.

I apologize in advance for the poor choice of wording, but I feel that there's no "smoking gun" to charge Tissie with any crime. She may have talked to Yaser after he killed Amina and Sarah (and also, other of Yaser's family members when she was "hiding" from Yaser) but we don't know what was said on the phone call(s). There's no recording of Yaser going "I killed them" and Tissie saying "I understand" or anything like that. (At least not publicly). So I feel there's not enough circumstantial evidence to charge Tissie legally speaking- as suspicious as I feel a lot of her behavior was- however, I feel like she HAD TO know Yaser Said was extremely capable of killing his daughters if they went back to him- and she failed them. The murders of Sarah and Amina were horrifying and extremely tragic, but to anyone closely involved, the one thing they weren't was surprising. EVERYONE saw this coming. Everyone except Tissie. So while legally she may not be responsible, or it least it will be difficult to prove she's legally responsible beyond a reasonable doubt, I feel like Tissie Said is at the very least morally just as responsible for her daughters deaths.

I really hate saying that as one thing I really hate when watching AMW and The Hunt is when the crime victim blames themselves. As if it's not bad enough what the criminal did to them, they have to live with guilt they shouldn't have. But in this case, I do blame her. Sorry, it's just how I feel.

Yaser Said has not gone to trial yet, his son, Islam was tried and sentenced in January of this year and his brother Yassein was tried and sentenced this past week.

Yaser Said won’t go to trial for another 1-3 years as it’s how long it took from capture to trial of another fellow top 10 fugitive case from that same area, Brenda Delgado.

It's officially the one year anniversary of this scumbag's capture!!!!!

Unfortunately there will continue to be awful cases like this (one of which I'll post in a few hours) and this is still a tragedy, there can only be justice, not closure, but it's nice to reflect at our relief and celebrate getting that justice from time to time.

That's going to depend on, if Said doesn't plead guilty and decides to go to trial, if the presiding judge allows cameras in the courtroom. If he does it will probably be on Court TV.

Court TV is probably the only tv-related or national internet option. I did find the Dallas courts have a livestream page so if Said gets any of the Judges listed here perhaps it would stream, but if it's federal court and none of the judges would preside over a case like this you might be out of luck, local news stations will probably video the trial but I don't know if they'd show a livestream:

I'm going to be honest in I was optimistic he'd be caught but not until like sometime in the next few years so a deal could be made with Egypt to extradite him. Thankfully that didn't need to happen.
