(Above photo credit: Fox6now.com) Fugitive Profile as of June 13th, 2016: (Based on FBI.Gov wanted poster) Aliases: Ida Jackson, Shanika Shontel Minor Date(s) of Birth Used: November 29, 1991 Place of Birth: Mississippi Height: 5'6" Weight: 165 pounds Build: Medium Occupation: Newspaper delivery Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Sex: Female Race: Black Nationality: American Remarks: Shanika Minor may have contact with people in Missouri, Mississippi, Texas, Tennessee, Ohio, and possibly in Georgia. Minor's last known address was in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Additionally, Minor does not have any prior travel outside of the United States or have any contact with individuals residing internationally. Who to call if you've seen her: FBI's toll free tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI or contact your local FBI office or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate. From the FBI's website: During the late hours of March 5, 2016, Shanika Minor instigated an argument with her mother's neighbor, who resided in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Approximately one week prior, Minor’s mother informed her daughter, who frequented the residence, that her neighbor was playing loud music at an unreasonable hour. Minor later confronted the neighbor about the music but the situation escalated, leaving Minor the impression that the neighbor was disrespecting her family. On March 5, 2016, Minor confronted the neighbor on the sidewalk next to her residence by brandishing a semi-automatic firearm and repeatedly challenging the woman to fight. Minor’s mother ran to the scene, attempting to stop her daughter from harming the woman, who was 9 months pregnant. Minor allegedly fired a round from her firearm into the air before leaving the scene with several other individuals. Shortly before 3:00 a.m. on March 6, 2016, Minor returned to the neighbor's residence, gained entry into the common hallway of the duplex, and met the woman by the rear door of her residence. Minor’s mother again ran to the scene, positioned herself between her daughter and the woman and attempted to deescalate the situation. Minor allegedly reached over her mother’s shoulder and fired a round from her firearm towards the woman, striking her in the chest. The victim retreated into her residence where she immediately collapsed and died in front of her two children. The victim's unborn child, due within a week, also died before emergency medical personnel arrived. Minor fled the scene and has not been seen since. On March 9, 2016, a local arrest warrant was issued for Minor charging her with first degree intentional homicide and first degree intentional homicide – unborn child. On April 27, 2016, a federal arrest warrant was issued in the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, charging Minor with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. www.fbi.gov/wanted/murders/shanika-s.-minor/viewThoughts? The FBI just added their case to the website to their case today and this is a case that REALLY pisses me off. It somewhat reminds me of the Martin Bullichi case that was aired on AMW in the 90's, where he killed two young neighbors for playing music too loud. In this case, Minor's old mother warned her and told her to not harm the woman. So Minor had to know this woman was pregnant. Even more tragic is since she was 9 months pregnant, that baby was due any day. There is never any murder sans self-defense that is necessary, but this is especially a murder that did not have to happen. UPDATE: On Tuesday, June 28th, 2016, Shanika S. Minor was added to the FBI's top 10 list. Admin Note: If you have any updated information on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

Usually at the bottom of a FBI poster for a fugitive wanted for murder, they mention that the fugitive "is considered armed and dangerous". The FBI went one step further and listed Shanika Minor as "extremely dangerous".
Shouldn't all fugitives wanted for murder be considered "extremely dangerous" however?

Of course but perhaps because of the rather violent nature the need was felt to be driven home with Minor. The littlest thing apparently sets this woman off. There's dangerous where not excusing it but a guy who murders his wife or women who murders her husband where it's a domestic incident and he/she might not be a threat to you in particular if they live next door. Then there's this kind of dangerous woman where based on her alleged nature if you look at her sideways she'll probably want to shoot you.

Many of the older fugitive posters say extremely dangerous and perhaps they are going back to labeling each fugitive as such.
Anyways Minor being a very violent woman and a recent case she will make a fitting candidate for the list for sure.
This crime that Shanika Minor committed will land her a slot on the list, because again it involves the death of an unborn child and history tends to repeat itself.

Obviously any recent fugitive on the violent crimes and murders list is a candidate but this is a case that especially stands out. Reading the local article again, it seems the loud music wasn't even played at the time of the murder. It's just Minor felt "disrespected" because of a previous argument about loud music that occurred a week before the homicide. What kind of a b.s. reason is that? Even crazier is this wasn't even the next day but an entire week had went past. The timing doesn't really matter, but these kind of unnecessary "feeling" disrespected homicides usually happen within hours after an argument or 1 or 2 days. This woman couldn't let it go after 7 frigging days. It was already a b.s. reason, but this case takes the cake.

Agreed, it's those cases that make a person say WTH is wrong with people holding these grudges over disrespect, try talking it out and come to a conclusion that it was mishandled blah blah blah.
It's a given that she'll be added because of 2 reasons, of course one of them is the fact that a mother and her unborn child were murderered
The second is based on her unpredictable violent nature she will strike anytime it seems to me.
I've noticed an interesting pattern too, Delgado and Policarpio were on the FBI site a month or so prior to their addition to the top 10 list and perhaps it'll take approximately the same amount of time before she's added.
Now a bit off topic but personally I'd like the FBI to add more women onto the list to chase anyone, anywhere, anytime and get them, also they give the list good publicity.

I have moved the thread to the top ten section and we can now discuss her case as a top ten fugitive.
It's strange how things happen in bunches sometimes. Brenda Delgado was the first woman in nine years to be added and only the ninth ever female addition and now we have the second female added to the list in less than a year.
Once again, violent and recent is obviously the theme they're going with in 2016. An excellent addition, and hopefully a quick capture.

There still seems to be a discrepancy as to when Minor shot and killed Tamecca Perry. The FBI says it was the day after the loud music argument, but the Fox Milwaukee station says a week after. I'd like some clarification on that. In any case, Minor had plenty of time to calm down but couldn't.

I think I got it now, the loud music incident happened the week before, but the murder happened the day after (or rather a couple hours after but it still counts as the next day since it was past Midnight) the argument a week later. (My reading comprehension skills are not normally this bad- but it's a sad and cold blooded case regardless).

The list has been blessed with Shanika being 2nd woman in a matter of about 3 months, I checked the top ten section this morning and saw Policarpio was still on and I check on there during lunch hour and Saw Minor on the top ten section. Comey is doing something big here and he's not caring who it is but what they did and being a recent case. Now I find it interesting as I haven't seen a Wisconsin fugitive added within the past 9 years or more so she's an interesting one from that aspect, but she has ties to many states and I doubt she left the country and I won't assume it'll be a quick capture

I'm sure there's more but the only Wisconsin fugitive I can think of off-hand is Leo Burt who is still at large but removed from the list in the 1970's.

Oh yeah Leo Burt forgot about him lol but it isn't uncommon to have many woman added in one year, it happened actually in 1970. Now Minor was a dead giveaway she'd be added to the list since she committed the same crime as Policarpio and was recent. Delgado I wanted added just for the sake of having the first woman in 9 years and her crime would be unique if she were to ever be placed (which she did). But I wanted Minor added because she got violent because of disrespect/misunderstanding, so that's the reason why it was such a stupid reason to murder someone, but I'm glad she's on the list. This time it took 29 days to replace a fugitive which is great

I could be mistaken but I believe all those women in the 70's were Vietnam protest-related fugitives as well, right?
