I only see one woman in 1970. This looks to be the first year that two woman were added to the list in the same year.

Yes they were placed in 1970, Marie Dean Arrington was already a top tenner since 1969.
Though I'm glad Shanika Minor is a top ten fugitive but I'm curious how long she'll last on the run.

Oh okay basically I was referring to the rarity of having two women added in the same year. There has been times where more than one woman has been on at the same time but that's not what I meant.

I only see one woman in 1970. This looks to be the first year that two woman were added to the list in the same year. Actually it looks like four women were added in 1970. Aug 18: Angela Davis Oct 14: Bernardine Dohm Oct 17: Katherine Ann Power, Susan Edith Saxe So there's no question that 1970 was a outlier in years as far as women being added to the Ten Most Wanted List. As for Shanika Minor herself, as mentioned before she is an extremely dangerous fugitive. I don't think it's going to take very long for the FBI to locate her and she reminds me of the fugitives the FBI added in the 1980s, and caught for the most part with great success.

Ah ok, the screenshot didn't really reflect that. So there is a precedent but still it's now 46 years later so still significant.

I feel they may track her down through investigative work, she can't be in Mexico, this won't be a Brenda Delgado situation for sure, she has to be somewhere in the Deep South she's from Mississippi

On the surface, this should be an extremely easy capture. But I've seen cases somehow bafflingly go on for longer than they should in the past.

I agree this is an extremely easy "potential" capture but in order to say that it needs to be proven if and when she's caught if they happened to track her using investigative work, she gave herself up or was not that good of a fugitive.
Policarpio took a turn for the worse literally so hopefully she messes up too

Well I find it interesting her being the first Milwaukee fugitive.
I think the media will have a storm over this addition

I'm glad to see them doing fugitives who have committed recent crimes being added to the list instead of those who have been on the run for years or are in places like Russia where there is no chance of catching them. Surprised to see another woman on the list so soon but I imagine they are hoping that the publicity that will come from that will aid in her capture.

Surprised to see another woman on the list so soon but I imagine they are hoping that the publicity that will come from that will aid in her capture. The FBI is basically coming out of its shell when it comes to adding fugitives in general and especially females to the list, before it would be once in awhile but now I see that the director of the FBI is going In a totally different direction, he's keeping it recent and violent with the Godwin-Policarpio slot since the slot used by Mogilevich, Mason, & Delgado is now used by Luis Macedo. In its history it's only had 10 females and 499 males which is a very uneven statistic and the female on the top ten list aspect still technically a rarity (despite having more than 1 added in a single year for the first time since 1970). I give kudos to the FBI for focusing on violent and recent cases, Brenda Delgado and Shanika Minor just happened to be recent and violent, so it's a perfect storm that we may or may not likely see again when it comes to female fugitives as 2 in one year is totally shocking under the normal circumstances (the women added in 1970 were anti Vietnam war protestors during the Vietnam war).

Minor's addition is trending on Facebook and many people are comparing it to abortion and calling it an abortion... Really I don't want to get into the topic but just wanted to let you guys know her addition is trending on social media.
