Also according to the press release Minor has told loved ones she would not turn herself in.

Minor's addition is trending on Facebook and many people are comparing it to abortion and calling it an abortion... Really I don't want to get into the topic but just wanted to let you guys know her addition is trending on social media. ...and to those people, I say, "Come on! If an abortion is formally arranged, the doctor's intent is to spare the mother's life! If Shanika wasn't trying to kill the mom, she wouldn't have used a freakin' pistol!"

I cringe at reading the comments on Facebook and elsewhere sometime when a fugitive becomes a trending story, especially if it's a black or Hispanic fugitive.
Whether you're pro-life or pro-choice this case has absolutely NOTHING to do with abortion. It's an alleged murder after a stupid argument. (Please note, I only say "alleged" for technical reasons, even Shanika's mother acknowledges she shot Tamecca Perry (the victim in this case).)
Also, whenever a black fugitive such as Minor is posted, I always see a white person inevitably post #blacklivesmatter as a comment. While there's a lot of African-Americans fed up with black-on-black crime and violence in their communities, when a white person comments with that hashtag, they're simply being sarcastic. I don't know whether to be more saddened at the racism or the lack of originality. If you're going to be racist, at least be original with your racist comments. You're the 5 zillionth racist to post #blacklivesmatter.
Shanika Minor's race has nothing to do with why I want this woman caught badly. I want her caught because she shot and killed a pregnant woman for no frigging good reason whatsoever. She's an "alleged" monster regardless of her race and gender.
Also, to add another comment about females on the top 10 list. The reason I feel it's rare to see a female on the list is the list is usually the most violent criminals possible and females are *usually* less violent than males and the crimes they commit are not as often as brutal as what males are wanted for. (There aren't as many if it all female killing their family cases, females raping and killing a little girl or boy cases, shooting and killing their two teenage daughter cases (although that did happen recently) etc...) Not that it should be excused, but when they do commit crimes most of the ones I read about are of the "shooting husband while he's asleep" variety and aren't as violent as a full-on confrontation murder. Minor's alleged crime is extremely violent for a female fugitive which is not usually typical.

Also according to the press release Minor has told loved ones she would not turn herself in. We'll she how she feels now that she's on the most well known wanted list in the entire world, is trending and has the whole country and this website looking for her. That kind of pressure can change someone's tune quickly.

I agree with both you and 912 It's sad seeing this stupid racism going on and wanting to debate controversial issues in a fugitive case.
All of us on here know It's not debatable that she committed murder and want her caught because she committed murder not abortion.
In general what I've seen in this case are the ridiculous right wing talking points being used to debate issues like abortion (sorry if that got political and if someone's political affiliation leans in that direction).
Also she may turn herself in but we'd have to wait and see and I'm guessing that may have been the other smoking gun as to why they may have added her.

Well Minor has made it through her first day unlike past fugitives like Walter Lee Williams and Juan Elias Garcia.

Just have to be patient with these fugitives. We're spoiled by many quick captures recently, but most aren't caught in a day.

My phone is still saying she's captured. I guess we'll wait for the official announcement if she was.

She last 3 days on the list, but all and all she's captured (let's hope) and we can wait for the next one.
Let's see how easy this capture really was upon an official announcement coming out

Wow at least we knew she was in the south. Now Minor's capture makes it the 477th for the list and I love saying this now but she's the 4th capture this year is better already in terms of captures Victory photo.

Very good and reassuring news that people no longer have to be in fear of Shanika Minor. Can't wait to see how many other new additions the FBI can capture this year.
