I wonder if it was a doctored photo. It wouldn't be that hard to accomplish, plus apparently only one person saw it. You can even see the administrator say it never said that when he visited the FBI's site.
Also, I looked at the profile of the guy who posted that photo. It has nothing on it. To me, that raises more than a few eyebrows.

Boredom, or something else?

Seems like just a guy trolling Facebook hard. Jokes aren't even funny. (I always say if you're going to be a troll, at least be funny.)

I actually caught an Unsolved Mysteries on Lifetime (I've officially forgiven them for cancelling AMW when it was really Fox's doing LOL) and it was a re-peat of the Fisher case. The investigator at the time believed the SUV could have been left at the forest as an attempt at a ruse and that it was not far from a service road where Fisher could have used a phone and/or hitched a ride.

Hello I'm new to the forum thanks for allowing me to join ☺️☺️. Well Fisher is one of the fugitives I've been wanting caught for so long, thankfully we have an alert public bringing tips on him, but here's theories on Fisher(1) Fisher could be hiding anywhere in the Continent, including Canada and Mexico living as a survivalist, in a blue collar occupation or if in Mexico, some place where corrupt cops could care less (2) he may have killed himself right after the murders not far from Mary's SUV in one of the caves (3) possibly he couldn't bare the guilt of killing his own family or paranoia of being captured so he probably killed himself a few years after the murders. Which may also explain why he has lasted as long as he has

Yes Also another speculation it's not known if he in fact was suffering through any kind of depression or any other mental issues at the time of the murders but just never sought any therapy or any kind of treatment.

It's entirely possible Fisher died trying to hide in one of those caves but the Unsolved Mysteries segment does make a good point in that Fisher was not far from a service road where he could have made a call or hitched or a ride. That area wasn't as isolated as one might think.
The problem is if Fisher is dead and in one of those caves, then good luck. Most of the "dead body" cases we've seen recently didn't get solved until at least a few years later.(Lance Arellano, David Sheffield etc.). Granted those bodies were found but the passage of time shows it isn't so easy to find a dead body.
Sometimes bodies hidden in relative plain sight go unnoticed for years (Beacher Hackney's body really wasn't that far from the crime scene and it took three years to identify him).
So imagine trying to find a body in all those caves and the difficulty is in my opinion quadrupled.
Hate to be cynical, I do hope they find Fisher's body if it's out there.
Me personally, I feel this is the one thread I'm bi-polar on, I keep going back and forth on whether or not I think he's alive or dead. There's great arguments to be made on both sides.

Yes this case does make the mind think he's dead or he's alive for sure, the passage of time makes that speculation even more intense. Now I started thinking did Fisher stash another vehicle like what David Burgert did or possibly run off with another woman? It's the same thing with Brad Bishop they said he was seen with another woman and I suggested maybe it was possible fisher was planning the murders and the woman knew Fisher's plan and met up with him somewhere near that service road. It's all theories I got to tell you the honest truth, I can go on for days talking about possible theories on what may have happened to Fisher.

What sort of scares me is I can see Fisher resurfaced living a normal life somewhere... with a new wife and new kids possibly still in the U.S.
John List did the same thing after killing his family. (I guess it's possible for Brad Bishop as well, but I feel he's more likely to be a loner than Fisher.)

Yes I mean who knows maybe all this time of being a fugitive might take its toll on him and he probably ends up Surrendering, but once he's aired on The Hunt we'll see
