I randomly walked by a commercial building under construction in NYC and the contact information for the person in charge was a man named Robert Fisher. Obviously it’s not the same Robert Fisher since it is a common enough name but it did get me thinking about the case again- anyone notice under the wanted collection feed he’s continuously pinned to the top even after other cases are bumped up or new cases are put up there? I am wondering what that’s about and if there is something there that he’s always the first one.

Maybe the Roger Parham incident has me thinking too much but I feel the Hamilton County John Doe on the FBI website (found murdered in 2006) has some similar features to Fisher- same possible height and weight bad teeth and an additional doe site mentions a compressed disk in lower back. Also Arizona blue jeans but I don’t think they’re actually made in Arizona so that really has no additional weight for me. I don’t think it is Fisher (main reason being the long hair) but there’s enough similarities I submitted a tip just in case. amwfans.com/thread/6811/hamilton-county-john-tennessee-2006?page=1www.doenetwork.org/cases/1009umtn.html

One question I do have, is did Robert Fisher’s parents pass away in the years since his airing on The Hunt in 2016? Robert’s Sister mentioned during his airing then that their parents didn’t have much longer to live and perhaps there’s a correlation between that and Robert being removed from the Top 10 List and John Walsh to believe he’s dead.
As for how I feel about the case currently, I don’t think there’s going to be much movement going forward unless law enforcement get lucky, unlike Brad Bishop (who was added to the Top Ten List 10 years ago now and pushing 90), law enforcement has a bit more time for a miracle to happen.
I believe Fisher if he’s still alive, likely went back to live in the Phoenix, Arizona area, though not to Scottsdale, maybe somewhere like Sun City where it’s age restricted.

I can’t find the link but a local upstate New York website had an article on him. I think upstate ny is actually a feasible place for him to be. As for Fisher’s parents, I do not know if they are still alive or not.

For the first time in ages, the FBI bumped Fisher to the top of their murder section. I suspect it's due to the 23rd anniversary of the horrific crime. This is a special case to me since it got me into true crime. A few years ago, I was in a hotel in Austria and I saw a bald man with his wife and two young kids. The man looked identical to Fisher, in particular his nose. I will never forget this visit to the hotel. There is a 99% probability it was not Fisher, but it is still a surreal memory.

A new podcast, missing in Arizona, sheds a new light on this case. The podcast has 16 episodes and they release them once a week. I provide a YouTube video, which mentions new witnesses and provides age progression photos. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMJUDw0sEjI

Apparently according to Tuscon com he has ties to the Tuscon area that's where he met his wife theoretically he could be have been hiding south of the Phoenix area I mean Tucson is very large in population it rivals cities like long beach and Fresno so he may still be in Arizona

I was listening to the podcast *Missing in Arizona*, and the narrator provided some great insight on Fisher, uncovering new information from neighbors and the FBI, along with interviews with current and former investigators and friends of the family. I'll say again that I believe Fisher is probably alive somewhere, likely in a more rural area, living as a recluse. I could see him as one of those people living in a house deep in the countryside, where it takes 30 to 45 minutes to get to the nearest store or gas station.
Also, I know several people have a gold tooth, but I wonder if law enforcement has ever sent Fisher's wanted poster to dentists, chiropractors, and others in the medical and pharmaceutical fields. I find it hard to believe that if Fisher is alive, he could have gone 23 years without seeing a dentist, getting a prescription filled at a pharmacy, or visiting a doctor, chiropractor, or physical therapist for his known back issues. If I were the FBI, I would send his wanted poster even now to people in those fields, asking if they've ever had a patient or co-worker who resembled Fisher.

I’m new here. Found this site down a rabbit hole about Robert Fisher. If he is alive he monitors this website. It’s what I would do. The FBI should declare him dead and if he is alive he will let his guard down and possibly make a mistake.

I wouldn’t be surprised. It’s why I always *politely* tell posters not to post tips on any fugitive publicly on this forum and to contact authorities or crime stoppers or private message me for advice on who to send the tip to instead.
The one argument Fisher has towards being alive is if this happened today or perhaps in 2014 even he’d have been caught or found dead in a day. However this crime happened right before the explosion of social media and mass cell phone alerts and everyone had 9/11 on their minds as well.
It was the perfect storm for Fisher to get away if he did in fact get away.

Typically murder suicides aren’t done apart. In almost all cases the person has killed their loved ones and then ones self. In other cases they wait for suicide by cop. You don’t go withdraw cash to only then kill yourself. He may be dead from attempting to survive in the wilderness but I feel like he has a new identity and is living below the radar.

Shane Miller did kill himself after the fact but I do agree in most cases.
