The Marshals are offering a reward so I wouldn't be surprised if Burham is added to the USMS Top 15 list instead (I feel this is the first time since Bucky Phillips that a fugitive should be on both lists).

It is very plausible Burham winds up on the list, but for now, I think the worst is that he is added to the USMS 15 Most Wanted List. Remember, the FBI didn’t get involved in Ralph Phillips’ case until after those two State Troopers were shot and one of them killed by Phillips.

Great news. Michael Burham is in custody. Thus, he won't be added to the list.
Here is my question: I am not questioning the judgment of anyone here - I just want to make sure we have the right person in the image feed. I have been told privately, and I have found this individual's age-enhanced photo on the image feed. Another fugitive, who is wanted on the West Coast for murder, has also popped-up in the image feed.
I was just wondering if there's a factor or two here, I am not aware of, which has made it absolutely certain to the others on the forum who the new addition will be. I just want to be able to determine with certainty who the next addition is in the future.
Again, I am not questioning anyone: it would be nice to know how to exclude others in the image feed.

If you move your mouse over the image (or copy and paste the url on your phone), you’ll see the placeholder FBI website URL. It should either have murders or topten in the url.

I won’t mention the new addition’s name since it isn’t official yet, but I did want to get the take of others here. For those who do know who the next Ten Most Wanted fugitive is, do you think he’s being added because, 1) They have evidence he has committed other crimes while on the run? Or, 2) Their leads as of now are exhausted, and they are trying to locate him?
I remember that when Michael Alfonso was added to the list in 2003, they revealed for the very first time that he had murdered a second woman and her unborn child, making him a serial killer. I’m wondering if they have evidence that he has committed additional homicides since, or maybe even prior to the killing he is currently wanted for.

I know the FBI now and then likes to have a cold case spot on the list and he fills that role nicely is my guess.

The cold case fugitive might not be added to the FBI's most wanted list anymore. The age progressed photo does not direct us to the ten most wanted section anymore. The FBI also added the age-progressed photo to the fugitives profile.

Ok well it has been a month so I gave it ample time- so based on that Stanley Obas is the guy the FBI at least earlier in the year was planning on adding to the list. Perhaps they still are- but enough time has passed to openly state who it is and wonder when or if it is going to happen.
I think this is a good general rule going forward- don't name the person yet but only for a one month grace period lol.

With the new updated reward for David Durham does anyone else think he'll be added to the list soon?

I now have a good idea of when Stanley Obas will be named to the Ten Most Wanted List. Next Friday, the 28th, will be the 27th anniversary of his alleged crime. To me, I’m 99% sure they are saving that date for the significance of it.

Probably. Maybe they're taking a long time because it is the summer or something who knows lol

Probably. Maybe they're taking a long time because it is the summer or something who knows lol My guess as indicated earlier is that they will add him next Friday, the 27th anniversary of the murder. I remember thinking this morning, “Wait a minute…I think her murder was in July or August of 1996. That may account for the delay.”
