I realize every time I say "if he isn't caught soon" I "jinx" it when it comes to potential breaking news cases to consider for the list (although in those cases it is a positive jinx since I want them to be caught) but the FBI is now apparently involved in the manhunt for Michael Burham who is wanted for the rape and murder of a woman in upstate NY. (As well as arson and other charges). He may be in PA or South Carolina. I fear this guy is dangerous as hell and not willing to go down easy as his Facebook profile still online shows a military background. Also I don't mean to stereotype, I have family who served, but a lot who served suffer from mental health issues down the line. That is no excuse for his alleged crimes, but also has me concerned for what his state of mind is at the moment as well. He needs to be caught as he fits the criteria for both being recognizable to the public but also in my opinion an extreme danger to the public.

I was just going to add him to my list of possible contenders (and then he gets caught!). This guy’s case so far reads very similarly to Maghfoor Mansoor or Greg Carlson. I also saw his Facebook profile, and it appears he was a sergeant in the Army and had at least two kids. I’m wondering what on earth compelled him to throw that all away.

Yeah I don't want to sound like I'm defending an alleged rapist and murderer but aside from a few political posts I didn't agree with but were still relatively innocuous and not extreme sounding my overall reaction was "wow I'm shocked he seemed like a good dude." Obviously he wasn't but I feel like for whatever reason the guy snapped. He still deserves the harshest sentence possible if convicted.

Fields is finally on the top ten list and with a $250,000 reward on his head along with everyone else on the top ten list also had their bounty increased to $250,000.
So it’s pretty much high stakes now on the top ten list.

Fields is a great addition and I’d suspect he’s still in the southern United States

Wow, they finally increased the reward. This is a good and necessary change. Fields is also an amazing addition to the list because the public can help solve this case.

Okay so 2 things I want to touch on here and give my opinion;
First off, the addition of Donald Eugene Fields is a superb addition, this is the type of fugitive the FBI should be adding to the Top Ten List, someone whose a threat to children should be an automatic contender IMO, and since it’s someone believed to be in the states still is a major confidence boost that it may be a quick capture, and especially with that really huge reward on his head, it may seem like that.
Also the fact that the rest of the Top Ten List with the exceptions of Carias and Villegas-Palomino, had their rewards increased from $100,000 to $250,000 is crazy.
Back in 2004 as the FBI was preparing to add Chaunson McKibbins, the FBI had increased the reward for everyone from $50,000 to $100,000, back then the list was very stagnant, hence why the move was made, but it was only a $50,000 increase.
This time around it’s a huge deal as it’s an additional $150,000, it’s the minimum reward offered for a wanted terrorist, and because it’s the highest reward the FBI can offer for a federal fugitive without needing approval from the DOJ.
Put it into perspective here… Omar Cardenas, a murder suspect from L.A., who may possibly be hiding with fellow gang members has a $250,000….. or Alexis Flores, despite having been on the list for 16 years, now he has a slightly higher bounty than what Jason Derek Brown had a decade prior to his removal from the list.
The reason why I think the FBI did this, is because since 2019, while there have been captures, the list stagnates, and recovering from having triple vacancies, the FBI played their cards right, and I now have renewed hope that someone on the Top Ten List will be captured, and I find it telling that both Arnoldo Jimenez and Alex Castillo are the ones at the center of this reward increase announcement.

Definitely agree. 250 bands is a lot of dough, and hopefully associates of fugitives like Castillo, Jimenez, and Cardenas come clean as a result of this

I don’t mean to go on a political rant here, but I was absolutely disgusted that some of the comments on the FBI Twitter feed which announced the addition of Fields to the list. They were following that lunatic Marjorie Taylor Greene’s calls to defund the FBI. My question for them: they have no problem with an alleged child sex trafficker being among them in the community? Despicable.

Not to jump-over the Fields news (great addition), but any early guesses as to who will fill the last slot? I’m assuming it will be an alleged murderer, considering the last two additions were very similar in nature to the cases they replaced. In other words: any early guesses as to who will fill the last spot, and why do you think it’ll be Hung Tien Pham? My guess is either Pham or Chacon-Morales.

In other words: any early guesses as to who will fill the last spot, and why do you think it’ll be Hung Tien Pham? My guess is either Pham or Chacon-Morales. Based off the recent patterns in which the FBI has been adding fugitives and since Michael Pratt’s addition, they’ve been adding fugitives from field offices that haven’t had a top ten fugitive on the list in years. Also based on the fact that the FBI increased the minimum reward to $250,000 makes me believe the next Fugitive will be a domestic case and hopefully it means a total focus on said cases. Everyone on the list currently is pretty catchable and also very recent, with that astronomical new minimum reward for a fugitive being offered now, I think the FBI can comfortably add Hung Tien Pham despite being a cold case fugitive, to the top ten list. With all these different factors, it just makes sense for him to land on the list soon. Hung Tien Pham is personally the guy I would like to see added next but that remains to be seen. Also as I’ve said, the new minimum reward being offered for top ten fugitives is a test to see if captures finally start coming in and it will really put future top ten fugitives in a very uncomfortable position to the point where they would want to turn themselves in, as it remains to be seen with Fields, who is the first out of the box with that reward amount.

An AMW cold case homicide fugitive is soon to be added to the Top Ten list. I don't know at the moment if anyone is being taken off or if he is simply just taking over El Gato's slot.

I found the next addition, and it's a great one imo. It will be hard to catch him. Hopefully, he takes El Gato's slot, but I can see him replacing Flores
