I’m wondering what the hold-up is with adding Stanley Obas to the list. I think he is still going to be added, because if they have linked him to the Ten Most Wanted page at some point, I doubt they are going to go back on that unless someone even worse pops up suddenly. I honestly thought they would add him to the list today, with it being the 27th anniversary of the murder.

Just a random thought but does anyone know why the FBI uses grainy black and white photos for fugitives like Alexis Flores and Robert William Fisher when they have higher quality color photos available?

Yeah I get back in the early-mid 2000s maybe thats the best they could do but they can certainly touch it up now.

Richezza William's birthday is tomorrow: September 1st. I don't want to put too much stake into this, but perhaps the FBI is waiting for the addition of Stanley Obas tomorrow.

FYI: if you use the link www.fbi.gov/wanted/topten/stanley-obas/, it no longer leads to a “Page not found” message. I’m wondering if someone else took priority over Obas and they aren’t adding him now.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to view the new images anymore. The FBI website crashes when I scroll down the image list.

They wouldn't not add him because of that. But they would hide it if they were planning to add him.

It's unlikely the FBI adds Stanley Obas any time soon. Someone else will probably be added in a few weeks.

The FBI added someone else to their image feed. It's likely that this person will take a spot on the top 10 most wanted list. I'm not going to reveal who this person is, but i'm not a massive fan of this addition. Obas would've been a much better addition in my opinion

It’s not “as horrible” as some of the other recent FBI Most Wanted fugitives from the perspective of generating tips from the public. Still would prefer domestic based violent offenders to get the publicity because they need it the most.

I found out who is being added as well and this was actually one of the few criminal enterprise fugitives (that's as far as I'll go as a hint) that I actually thought should be on the list. While I'm disappointed Obas apparently won't be added, I may surprise you guys by saying I actually agree with and think this upcoming addition (whenever it happens) is actually an excellent addition.

Wanted to wait once Vitel’Homme Innocent was added to the Top Ten List to get this off my chest.
First off, once again I’m happy for this addition, I really hope they catch Vitel’Homme soon and he pays for what he did and thus turnover his slot to someone else.
Since at least the start of the decade, the FBI has started to add more fugitives wanted for a variety of crimes like Ignatova, Michael Pratt, Donald Fields and Vitel’Homme Innocent, even individuals that I don’t agree with like Villegas Palomino and Carias are crimes I don’t generally agree with being added to the list, but it gives the list more of a variety (wish they could add someone else like maybe a non child serial rapist or cold case murder fugitive) compared to the era of 2014-2019 during which only domestic murder fugitives were added during that time and at one point in 2017 was all the FBI had on the list.
The last murder fugitive to be added was in July 2022 (Omar Cardenas) everyone added since then has been a non murder or an Enterprise murder fugitive. Stanley Obas not being added right now in 2023 was a disappointment, but unfortunately the FBI opened up a can of worms when they removed Robert Fisher and Jason Brown, so they probably want to stick with recent, and movie villain style fugitives as they’re most likely to offend compared to decades old murder fugitives that haven’t been found.
The good thing about this current era is that the FBI started to once again make crimes against children a focus for the Top Ten List.
