Puente is set to start trial July 15th an it’ll last up until the 24th .. Word from her Codefendant Joe Alvarado the Prosecutor came to see him in prison and told him how Jennifer is pointing the finger at Joe as if he did everything and she says she had no involvement! As far as Pre trial announcements she’s been given No offer by the DA . But just a few weeks ago she was offered 25 years , she declined the offer. So jury selection will begin July 10,11th. Trial will be set to begin July 15th 9:00 AM in the 443rd court in Waxahachie Texas !

A solid sentence given the character she's demonstrated. I'm amazed both that she evaded death row and that she got a finite sentence. By the time she gets out in the '060s, she'll be a senior citizen, and I hope the corrections department will have the authority to make absolutely sure she's not a threat to society before then. |

Yeah given the brutality and sheer horrific savagery of Moriahs murder puente will never be released she has not shown one iota of remorse or regret while the accomplice may gotten a lower sentence he is also a vile person but puente was the one who orchestrated murder and I firmly believe she was there was Alvarado on the day Moriah was murdered she the. Subjugated the Gonzales family to a long torturous wait and living in fear that she strike again but they refused to let that control them I remember the day on the site that I was the one saying she had been extradited back to Ennis texas from a prison in Mexico one of my favorite updates everyone here was so pumped and happy to see her brought back to Ellis county and I also want to thank scumhunter and headmarshal who kept this case on the site and were just as happy as I am to see her in cuffs John Walsh deserves credit during her time profiled on in pursuit and the Mexican authorities as well as the US Marshals and whoever helped take her down Puente ran across the border like a coward but the Facebook page Moriah Gonzales foundation despite the agony and horror.of losing her kept the case alive abd she's not going to be going anywhere for the next half a century puente you deserve it
