No one ever said the FBI was "planning" to add more female fugitives to the list, but rather that was the year they added Brenda Delgado and Shanika Minor and we pointed out the uniqueness in that female fugitives are rarely added, let alone two in a year. I think some of us thought perhaps this meant some of the other female fugitives such as Caris Ayala that were on the website but not the list had an increase in likelihood of being added to the list but please be careful about taking speculation/discussion in the general discussion thread as fact.
However, Puente is currently not on the FBI's general website- which is generally the prerequisite for being added to the list, if anything she may be more likely for the U.S. Marshals list since they are usually the default tracking agency for fugitives shown on tv.
If she were ever added to the FBI itself, it might change things.

I surprisingly could not find a UFAP (unlawful flight to avoid prosecution) warrant for Puente in PACER online court records despite the possibility of her being in Mexico. Sometimes not all UFAP warrants are found in Pacer, but just in case wanted to let Moriah's loved ones knows so they can make a push to get one issued.

I think Jennifer Puente is still in Texas either being aided by someone involved in a cartel or she’s been laying low for all these years moving from place to place in Texas. The only exceptions where I’ll say a fugitive is still in their home state is if they’re wanted out of California or Texas as those states are huge in area and population, also since Puente went on the run, some of these baby small towns in Texas have become decent sized cities due to the population boom there within the past decade. |

It's been over a decade now I realized and Puente still isn't caught. This case is beyond awful, but considering her age at the time with having no resources, the telltale tattoos etc... I feel like she should have been caught by now and beyond frustrated that she isn't. Hopefully by making her our forum fugitive of the week for this week that will change things.

According to The In Loving Memory of Moriah (MIA Gee) Facebook page, shared an image of Jennifer Puente with a captured stamp which may indicate she possibly has been captured, and I say may have possibly because I can’t find anything in the news media that she has in fact been caught.

Ennis Police Department made a Facebook posting indicating they were contacted by Mexican Federal police that Puente is in custody and they are working to confirm it is her.
Very excited at what this appears to be, but want to be extra cautious and wait for official statements/news before officially declaring her captured.

Finally got an official from audacy com that she has officially been arrested in Mexico by us marshals

I'd concur with scumhunter's and HeadMarshal's cautious approach. I don't want anything to happen like what happened with the Brian Dale Andrews manhunt recently.
