I watched the official trailer on the Youtube channel for FOX. They seem to be operating on what I suggested modern AMW should do. Can't stress it enough that it shouldn't be your dad's AMW. Calling itself the original true crime show, use of the internet, even liked Cal's lighthearted callouts to "armchair detectives".

This is the rare times where I wish I didn't cord cut and just have to wait till tomorrow to watch on Hulu. It sounds like they starting well.
As to answer billsfans568. I'm going to come out and say it that any new AMW can do without reenactments. They might have been important in 1988. But if they distract from the main point of AMW, I'm not going to mourn them.

My views largely haven't change since when the Hunt was on. In that, AMW by the time it was cancelled in 2012, likely outlived it's purpose at least in the form it was still going by. That although me personally had no problem with the revival under Elizabeth Vargas, it didn't matter about the acting, sensationalism or hosts. Just that the landscape of TV and the overall culture in America changed that what worked for AMW in 1988 likely won't work now. I've always stressed that it can't be your dad's AMW. It doesn't matter if Walsh hosts or not. If the keyboard warrior knuckleheads loved Walsh so much, where were they when it moved to Lifetime, or when it got cancelled, or when he did the Hunt and where are they with In Pursuit? All I can say is that I wish this season well and will try to watch it when I can.
As with comparisons to UM. As much as we credit UM for having a more dedicated fanbase, and they do. All they got out of it since Stack died was a rehash with a host many fans complained about (though I like Farina), a no host revival on Netflix and heavily edited reruns (I don't think Filmrise include elements with Keely Shaye Smith or Virginia Madsen in them). At least with AMW, it didn't need a huge fanbase for the FOX bigwigs to revive it twice. I also think what helped in UM's online fanbase was efforts by the people behind UM to keep the buzz going (credit to Cosgrove-Meurer Productions as opposed to a FOX subsidiary prod for AMW). So for what it's worth, I do what I can to keep the AMW legacy strong, show or no show.

I can confirm based on a recent upload on YouTube that Hernandez was at the very least featured in AMW on July 30th 1994. Her segment also revealed that she gives off a polite facade, she doesn't drink or smoke, she relied on public transportation in the states at the time and she has three daughters.

David Thies has been missing since he was last seen in Manhattan, New York in December 1982. He was featured in UM at least once in October 1989. From the Charley Project with additions from the Unsolved Wiki, Missing Since12/13/1982 Missing FromManhattan, New York ClassificationMissing SexMale RaceWhite Age21 years old Height and Weight5'11, 145 pounds Clothing/Jewelry DescriptionA brown jacket, a blue shirt, white pants, green-striped socks and white sneakers. Distinguishing CharacteristicsCaucasian male. Dark brown hair, blue/gray eyes. Thies had a mustache and beard at the time of his 1984 disappearance. His left ear is pierced and he has a scar on the right side of his nose. Details of Disappearance Thies was last seen in the New York City borough of Manhattan on December 13, 1982. He has never been heard from again. Few details are available in his case. Some agencies state he disappeared on December 13, 1984. Details (from the unsolved wiki): At around 4pm on December 13, 1982, nineteen-year-old David Thies left his New York City apartment and went into the hallway to smoke a cigarette. When he did not return, his mother, Karen DiGia, thought it was strange as it was his father's birthday. Earlier in the day, he had gone out to buy a gift for him. That evening, he planned to make a salad or something for the birthday dinner. Karen also recalls that before his disappearance, David was flipping the channels of the news reports obsessively as if he felt threatened by something he saw. His parents put up a $25,000 reward for information on his disappearance. After it was posted, more than 40 people contacted the police to report having seen him in California. The witnesses either saw him selling "junk" on the street or hanging around with a cult group. Despite these sightings, he has never been located. According to psychiatric social workers, David has suicidal tendencies. Karen said that he was depressed several weeks before his disappearance. However, no evidence has been found to suggest that he committed suicide. Thoughts? Charley Project and DoeNetwork noting lack of details and him being missing in 1984 may be a misnomer and inaccurate information. I live in Springfield but wasn’t born until 1993 this case is bizarre from what I’ve heard and read they pretty much know who did but they don’t believe the bodies will be found. I know I’ve asked this quite a bit but does anyone know if this segment that was shown on AMW in 1992 was a full blown re-enactment with actresses re-enacted the events of the night they went missing? Or was it just a news story that John Walsh shared with no Re-enactment included? Also if anyone has the segment that AMW showed in 1992 and can somehow get it uploaded to YouTube i along with several others who follow this case would love to see it. Thanks An AMW segment of the Springfield Three from it's July 1992 broadcast is uploaded YouTube and is shown here. It is a news story since AMW to my knowledge rarely did reenactments for missing people.

According to Unsolved Wiki, Anderson was the shooter but Davis was the ringleader of the group that ordered Anderson to shoot and kill Tupac as a result of the earlier fight at the MGM Grand. unsolvedmysteries.fandom.com/wiki/Tupac_ShakurFor more context according to Greg Kading's investigations and the documentary "Murder Rap", Davis allegedly agreed to kill Tupac as a bounty made by Sean "Puffy" Combs but never originally intended to kill Tupac the night he got shot in Las Vagas. Just that Orlando Anderson wanting to kill Tupac for the fight at the MGM presented an opportunity for Davis and he led the group to seek out and kill Tupac which included the shooter Anderson.

Duane Davis aka Keefe D is the Uncle of Orlando Anderson, whom many speculate is the main suspect who allegedly murdered Tupac Shakur, in the most logical sense. Davis is actually claimed to confirm this through Greg Kading's investigations and went so far as to claim it was part of a hit ordered by Sean "Puffy" Combs. The thing is, his admission was part of a sort of plea deal. So something must be going on for Las Vegas police to book him.

I was about to ponder here why Flores is still on the list where others like Brown and Fisher were removed. Especially on paper his case is the oldest of the three and harder to solve due to his deportation to Honduras. But if the Honduran government supposedly know the whereabouts of both Carias and Flores, then that makes things promising.
