HM- we have to stop jinxing each other. Okay I'll stop. Although it would be amazing if we had influence over a major news network.

I did say Shane Miller has to be the first case on the show and it did turn out to be the first case. But yeah the way Fox screwed over AMW airings with sports is the way CNN will apparently be screwing the Hunt over with news.

Maybe I should save it for next week but since you mentioned tvguide it got me curious to look to see if any episodes were scheduled to be repeated this week. Unfortunately not but next week's Brad Bishop episode is confirmed and is titled "Family Annihilator".

Great episode tonight! Don't get me wrong as badly as I want Shane Miller caught, the episode tonight was in my opinion a huge improvement from the pilot. It felt more fast paced. They basically got to the history of Kevin Stoeser right away. No wasting time interviewing a hairdresser and showing hair or showing a glass of milk falling on the floor. Charles Mozdir perhaps could have been slightly cut down but even he didn't have too much unneccessary buildup. Also, perhaps we should say in their individual threads but my goodness both Stoeser and Mozdir had some pretty sick details (I'll let Pakman go more in-depth in a review if he wishes ). I'm sure some people must have vomited... Also, I noticed when the credits were scrolling... I saw AMW producer Greg Klein's name in there!!!! I know Pakman will appreciate this.

I kept looking at the credits to see if I recognized anybody, but I missed Greg Klein. Good catch, Scumhunter! Glad to see him back; he was one of my favorite producers on AMW.
I agree with Scumhunter in that this episode was MUCH better than last week's show. I honestly felt like I was watching an old AMW episode this time around! And yes, some of the details were pretty graphic - this was the first time I can think of that bestiality has been mentioned on a John Walsh-related show, and while AMW has gone into vaguely graphic details in the past about what child molesters have done to their victims, the victim's father flat-out said what Charles Mozdir did to his son (I won't repeat it here, but I'll just say it's a sex term).
It seems like CNN is letting John Walsh get away with more than Fox and Lifetime ever did. Keep in mind that when somebody swore on Fox they would actually blur out their mouth so you couldn't figure out what they were saying.

I went a little more in-depth in the Mozdir thread itself. Both of these guys are very dangerous threats. I get a feeling we'll see a direct capture of at least one soon but I wouldn't mind seeing both go down.

I also felt the episode was an overall improvement from the pilot. I would reqlly be shocked if this doesn't result in at least one direct capture.

I should add that even though next week is back to one guy, if anyone deserves an hour it's Brad Bishop. I don't think I will mind as much with there being about 40 years to work with. Perhaps my math is wrong but I think there is a possibility for one more guy besides Bishop to be a one-case show (and I'm going to be honest and say I don't see anyone else warranting that but who knows I could be surprised) but the other four episodes should be two cases.

A couple thoughts-
Now that it has been reported Stoeser has been spotted in Central Texas- is there any way for that to be reflected soon on The Hunt if he remains at large? This is where the format gets tricky. AMW got a lot of captures specifically because of the fast-paced way they were able to update hot leads soon after an airing. If you recall in the Lifetime season, the Hallahans were captured two weeks after their debut airing because of all the hot leads coming in. AMW likely figured one more airing might do the trick and aired them just two weeks later- and they were right. Something similar happened with Zane Mason. But I'm not sure if they already have these episodes filmed. Because of the way the format is set up- to devote the entire time to one or two people- it creates a problem if they want to update leads for certain fugitives. If this were AMW, Stoeser's updated leads- if he hadn't been caught yet- would at least be aired on the August 3rd episode if not the July 27th one- and he'd likely be a direct capture a few days afterwards.
Also, still trying to figure out what's taking so long for episode 2 to come online so our forum members like 912th who didn't see this past Sunday's episode can view it. Anyone else have any luck finding it anywhere?

Can't CNN news dedicate even a few minutes to update the leads on Stoeser?

Can't CNN news dedicate even a few minutes to update the leads on Stoeser? you'd think. In fairness, their current breaking news is pretty serious right now. (In other words, it's not 2 months later and they're bringing out every out of work person to theorize where a plane might be). But just a quick five seconds would be nice.

Yeah lol, still never got a chance to view episode 2 which is unfortunate. If you find it anywhere please me sure to tell me . Also, do you guys think that the format of the website will be similar to amw? Do you think that after the show has been airing for a while that they will make sections for captures and stuff all just like amw? And maybe even they will post the past episodes on the site? Let me know what you guys think.
