I wanted to confirm: is Palmer a “brittle” diabetic? What I mean by that is he one of the 10% of people with Type 1 Diabetes who can not control their illness well even with insulin? That’s the one thing I have been wondering about - how he’s getting insulin on the run, because it is becoming incredibly expensive. I’m of the belief that he’s alive, but he may be in poor health if he’s missing shots or dosage amounts.

Not sure. I just remember on The Hunt it was stated his health problems were exaggerated and he was a very in-shape guy for someone his age.
With that being said if you don't have your medications with you it will affect you no matter how in or out of shape you are.

I was going to mention: We know that Eugene Palmer is diabetic and insulin-dependent. What would be brilliant is for the FBI to theoretically send a pamphlet on this guy to every endocrinologist in the country. Even as it has been discussed in this forum that his medical problems were likely exaggerated, I think there will be a doctor somewhere in the country who remembers filling out an insulin prescription for him.

Are there any behind-the-scenes leads for instance or are they just wanting to cover all publicity avenues. |

It is interesting they're pulling out all the stops for a guy whose sons insist is still in the woods somewhere.
Granted Palmer's body being right in front of the crime scene is still a possibility as we saw with Beacher Hackney after 3 years (so I'm not going to eat crow if that happens after all, I'm acknowledging it's possible), but you do have to wonder of the FBI and now Interpol know something we don't to publicize a guy many people just assume is dead.

After my grandfather passed away I recall seeing signs of him as I passed through downtown Atlanta saying he was wanted for murder ironic I know and I was at a car show with my cousin since this guys a gearhead and a racing nut this guys time on the run over as he is most likely in Florida

I went down to Florida in the Crystal River area and there was a car show in there it just made me think how ironic if you know what I mean

I'm very sorry for your loss. However, just to clarify, you're saying this case reminds you of your grandfather because he was also a car enthusiast and spent time in the same geographic region right?  Your grandfather was likely a great guy and doesn't is in no way the same category as this alleged murderer. |
