Larry Castaneda is ome of the more puzzling cases to me as he appears to still be at large. He didn't seem to have all his faculties and was said to be a heavy drinker and drug user yet according to a poster in out thread about him, he was sited in downtown Sacramento by a childhood friend in 1996. They say he also set up two appointments with the VA in 1992/93, but never showed up to either appointment. amwfans.com/thread/254/larry-castaneda-california-1991

Re: Larry Castaneda, the homeless angle is a good one. IIRC, the segment had some debate as to whether he would be bearded or clean-shaven. If he was bearded, I could see him being among the homeless as he looked kind of scraggly.
Emma Tresp is a sad one. That poor woman was doing just fine until she encountered the worst luck: Hitting a large rock in the road (what the.., what was it doing in the road?) and it damaged her car. She presumably left to get help and disappeared from there.

March 20, 1999 (555 fugitives caught to date)
Michael Buttram - Is wanted for the home invasion killing of his ex-fiancée and mother in Georgia.
Captured: Lena Townsend - Woman who beat her 4 year old granddaughter to death in Tennessee was apprehended in Arizona.
Rafael Ramirez - Is wanted for beating, raping and killing popular Dr. Claudia Benton in Texas while her husband and kids were away. He made himself a snack in her house after the killing. He has a lengthy rap sheet dating back to the 70's. Happened in an affluent neighborhood, however there was a transient camp nearby.
Dennis Lilly - Has escaped from prison numerous times in Kansas and Missouri.
Asheville, NC abortion clinic bombing - Authorities believe notorious Eric Rudolph (of the Atlanta Olympics bombing) could be invoved.
Enrique Coropuna & Company - Are wanted for several violent robberies.
Orland Park, IL Shell gas station killing - Extremely bizarre case. Unknown gunman in camouflage entered gas station and killed Robert Collins (the man on duty) without stealing anything, motive unknown. A "Bob Reynolds from Poole Trucking" supposedly on his way back to Oregon called in with a crucial tip but an attendant error led to the call being terminated prematurely. Authorities could find no record of an employee by that name with that company anywhere.
Randolph Biernat - A thoroughly creepy pedophile who raped his stepdaughter for many years and videotaped it skipped out on his court date.
Update: Yosemite disappearances - Bodies have been found.
Captured: Mark Allen - Man with lengthy rap sheet who committed many robberies and a carjacking was apprehended while trying to pass himself off as a U.S. Marshall investigating his own case.
Jesus Antonio Tejeda - Beat a 2 year old girl under his care to death.
"Booby Boys"/Kenneth Williams - again.
Aundria Crawford - Disappeared in same general area as Kristin Smart and authorities believed they could be linked (they weren't).

whoa Lordy, just checking out the preview for the next episode from the following week and there's an update to the bizarre Orland Park murder. Tips came in, apparently not on who the suspect was, but who the witness was.

A couple of updates. According to a legal document online, it looks like Michael Buttram was later arrested and convicted of the two murders. His arrest was not a result of his AMW profile. Rafael Ramirez aka. Angel Maturino Resendiz later was revealed to be a serial killer responsible for as many as 15 murders committed in the US and Mexico. He would generally commit the murders near railway tracks. Angel later surrendered to authorities on a bridge connecting the US and Mexico in 1999, but AMW didn't take credit for the capture until 2008, making him Capture #989. He was executed in 2006. Dennis Lilly I mentioned through a PM, was first profiled in 1992 and was last aired in 2008. In 2013, it was revealed he had died from cancer in a small town in Washington State. Enrique Coropuna I believe was first profiled in 1993 and was last aired in 2002. He was arrested in 2003 in South America while committing another violent robbery. Randolph Biernat was arrested after this episode in Canada, making him Capture #559.

Ramon Arellano-Felix was killed in Mexico in 2002. At the time, his Tijuana Cartel was one of the most powerful in Mexico. I can't find any information on Floridalma Puerdo online (for instance nothing comes up in google for the NCMEC) so it doesn't look like she's a missing child. Michael Poulin was aired in 1995 as well. I found a police website that details his case however I think it's from the late 1990s so it's not up to date I believe. No idea if he's still wanted. www.lisbonpd.com/Misc/amw.htmlI also can't find any information on either Vernon Dobbs or Lili McKee, so it looks like Lili is no longer missing.

I couldn't find anything for those cases either. I initially misspelled Floridalma's last name (I edited the earlier post), but still came up with zilch. She was kidnapped by a group of immigrant farm workers, so that may explain the lack of articles online.
Lili McKee/Vernon Dobbs was one of those real quick profiles and their names weren't put up on the screen. Re-watching that part, her name may have been/is Lilian or Leighann or something to that effect.

I checked newspapers.com and the good news is that Floridalma Pedreo was able to safely return home in October 1997. She turned out to be a teenage runaway and the kidnapping charges against four suspects, including Pascual Tomas were dismissed.

Ah, thanks for that HeadMarshal. I just recently discovered newspapers.com, it is a tremendous resource.
Well darn. I was really hoping I had more of this October 4, 1997 episode, but it was just the first part. Let's get to it:
Captured: John Huggins - Man who was turned in by his wife for the murder of Carla Larson Keller.
Captured: Timothy White - Fugitive from last week apprehended quickly.
Lorris Robinson - Gang member associated with David Askew (capture #310), is wanted for multiple crimes. John Walsh pleads for all courts to allow victims impact statements to be read. (partial segment and rest of episode not present).
I can tell that the episode also contained Raymond Young (another airing of that segment) as well as the latest news on the Starbucks murders.
